The temperature was high 55 & low was 41 this morning, now it's 52 with humidity 71% & wind is 18 MPH SSW. Thursday's suppose to be Showers & High 58.

♥ On Monday morning, 5/20, momfolded 3 loads of laundry, then she mowed the back yard while dad loaded his truck with scrap wood to haul away. When mom was done she then helped dad with the second load of wood then they were going thru piles of metal, wire, nuts, bolts, etc to put in separate piles for the scrap yard and the garbage dump. That was a long hard and hot day!!!!

♥ On Tuesday, mom got a phone call from Pet Food Stamps letting mom know they received the proper paper work and will contact mom once they verify it all to let her know if we qualify. Mom's xcited about it!!!!

♥ This morning, after mom gave me my anxiety pill then fed me my Fancy Feast can food with MiraLax mixed in it, I ate it all up like I normally do then I went potty. Mom scooped out the litter boxes then when she came into dad's room to give Sassee 10605 her Dasuquin pills and seen someone got barfy on the floor and knew it was me cuz it was Fancy Feast and dry food. Mom checked me out and said to just rest which I do anytime I don't feel well. I did come out once this afternoon to get a few bites of the dry food then went back to dad's bed to sleep more.

♥ Honoring our fur mama, BABY KNIGHT'S 13286 Three Year Forever Sleep on Monday, May 20th!!!!
Baby was mama to most of us Knight Kitties. You can see the list of ALL Baby's Children on her page 13286 in her BIO section.

♥ Well, the Yard Sale is over til after the first of June, but not the work for mom and dad as they will still be going thru the storage shed next with throwing things away and saving things for the next sale!!!! The last two days of the sale never even made $40 for both days!!!!

♥ Mom and dad has been doing a bunch of weeding in the front yard in between customers during the sale and rain. Today, mom went in the back yard and scooped out the big 3X5 (used to be 5X5) sand`litter box then she got her new weedeater assembled, as she had to take the other one back to Wal*Mart then went to Lowes and got one there instead. She got the front yard weedeated then she mowed the front yard.

♥ Mom did open dad's bedroom window this morning so we could be out in the cattery. It was nice getting the fresh air.

So good to hear from you. I'm not on DC or CC much either. The arthritis in my fingers keeps me from typing very much. I've already had four finger surgeries. Anyway, I'm on facebook often, because mostly I just click the mouse. Buckster was a fine dog, and I know what it feels like to lose a furbaby. Take care...do you still have Rowdy Roo?

♥ WOW!!!! What a MONTH of Adoptiversaries for our family, but luckily, That's All Folks!!!! Tehehehe!!!!

♥ I have been making sure I get lots of mom time everyday. I just love my mom so much!!!! I have been also sleeping by her feet the last week or so at bedtime which makes her real happy!!!!

♥ Mom went to PetSmart this morning to buy [2] 16 lb bags of Friskies Indoor; [3] 16 lb bags of Friskies Surfin Turfin; [1] 7 lb bag of Purina One Hairball; [1] 7 lb bag of Purina One Vibrant & Maturity & [1] 40 lb box of ExQuisiCat Litter. She got [2] FREE toys, too!!!!

♥ Well, mom is upset as my Feline Acne is coming back. She washes my face every morning after I eat my Fancy Feast can food and washes my food dishes alsmost every night before bed time.

♥ UPDATE: SASSEE 10605 seems to be doing better finally with not seemingly in so much pain like she had been due to her arthritis. Mom said the Dasuquin must be finally taking affect.

♥ UPDATE: SYLVESTER 11567 is no longer limping the last couple days. He will, however, will need to see Dr. Liz in a couple months for bloodwork to see how he is doing since his diagnosis of Early Kidney Failure in February.

♥ Mom and dad are set up for another yard sale starting Friday morning and ends on Saturday evening at 5:00pm so we may not get to visit everyone, but we will try!!!! Mom also changed my profile photo today.

♥ Our SPECIAL Message by SISSEE 11531 tonight!

♥ This year, we would like to do something different with our 10th Year Adoptiversaries by introducing a SPECIAL kitty to you! While mom and dad was cleaning and going thru everything in the back room, mom came across a picture that she couldn’t find for a long time and thought it was gone forever. This picture is of a precious tiny kitten and will remain in mom’s heart♥. This tiny kitten’s name was PRINCESS KNIGHT and she was mine, Suezee’s & Rhoamin’s littermate sister.

♥ When we were just tiny kittens, running wild & free under our fur mama Baby’s 13286 care when PRINCESS found a way to our neighbors’ yard [mid July 2003] who has a Yellow Lab. That Lab was let out in their back yard and he seen PRINCESS. Mom & dad heard the little screams of pain & came running out in the back yard. The neighbor got a hold of their dog and dad went over the fence to get PRINCESS, but it was too late for her as dad handed her to mom. Mom was in such tears. PRINCESS was only 10 weeks young when she was killed. To this day, that dog is still next door to us so mom always worries us outside kitties.

♥ Yes, for our 10th year Adoptiversaries, we are HONORING our sister PRINCESS on this day & we wanted to share it with you also our HONORARY Profile Photo for you to see!

Princess Diaries: Yup, we both have great Dads, we sure are lucky...Hope you and your family are doing okay, It is always good to hear from you...Today we had our first really warm day...Of course when you live on the shore there is almost always an ocean breeze so it is cooler by the beach...The temp was 72 today and off shore they actually hit 80... I wish the temperature would stay like this thru the summer...We hate when it's hot and humid and today it was purrfect...Of course the downside of this nice weather is Daddy will be playing golf a lot...Today was his first golf day of the season (he has a set Friday date with a buddy when weather permits) but he made sure to have lunch with Mommy & I first...Of course he surprised us with a big box of huge Strawberries and Chocolate...Do you think he was bribing us?...MOL...Duh!!!...Daddy thinks he's slick what he doesn't know is Mommy and I think he deserves to play Golf but we like to tease him about leaving us all alone...Mommy says she is a golf widow and I am the poor child being deserted for better things....HKL, the woman can really pour it on....Daddy says Mommy is so silly, personally I think she is pretty funny...After lunch he and Mommy made Chocolate Covered Strawberries together and then Daddy fed me a nice, juicy , "plain" Strawberry...Oh how I wanted the Chocolate one but we all know Chocolate is "TOXIC" to kitties...Anywho, it was Daddy's first time feeding me a Strawberry...Mommy usually gives me my Strawberry fix...Daddy said I was so funny slurping it up and rubbing it all over my whiskers and cheeks and then rubbing my face all over his hands...Mommy actually took a video of it and then she posted it on the FB/CC Survivors Page today...Is nothing sacred in my family...What am I going to do with the woman's need to blab all my personal and private moments to the whole world...I have come to the conclusion Mommy is incorrigible...Well, it's never a dull moment around my house...I think Mommy & Daddy are both amusing, at least to me...MOL...This almost ends this weeks episode of " The Princess Diaries "....This weeks quote is so very true except when it concerns STRAWBERRIES..." ♥ Mom opened dad's bedroom window this morning so we could go out in the cattery. Then mom went out in the front yard to dig up a rose bush that died and replaced it with the new one that came from the Big Brown truck (UPS) on Monday. This is a SPECIAL Rose Bush sent to mom in Memorial of PAPPOOSE'S 10366 Forever Sleep on 4/24/2012 from our sweet friends Mouse 219407; Tucker 219145 & Momma Lynn. The Rose is called "Always & Forever" and the flowers will be Red!!!! Mom then watered all her flowers.

♥ Mom and dad then loaded the truck with more scrap metal then while dad hauled it off to the scrap yard mom did some weeding in the front yard. Then they loaded up aluminum so dad hauled it off while mom did more weeding and finally they loaded up more scrap wood then dad hauled it off. Mom wasn't in to anymore weeding or work!!!!

Oh, Bandy. I miss you so much. Please ask your Mama if you can come up and visit! So much has happened. Two weeks ago was my Birthday and then the next day I was COTD. Mom has taken forever to do my thank you's. Mom fell and hurt her knee and now she is having big problems with her Galucoma. I tell you, she's falling apart. We miss my Daddy so very much. I'm trying to be a good girl for Mommy. Sending kisses all over your sweet face, Bandy. How are your Mama and Daddy?? Love you so much, Your GiGi

♥ Before it was mom's bedtime last night, I insisted her to hold me since she has been neglecting me the last few days!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Then she held me again this morning.

♥ Mom went out in the back yard to scoop the big sand~litter box then dad took five gallon buckets out to mom so her and dad could fill them with the stinky urine smelled sand to haul away. They came back with [10] five gallon buckets of fresh new sand. Dad dumped six buckets of the sand in the box then mom spreaded it out so now the outside kitties has a nice clean smelling sand~litter box to use.

♥ After mom and dad was done with that, they then loaded the truck up with old junk, windows and such to haul off to the dump. They finally got done for the day about 1:30 this afternoon.

♥ Mom is very tired and still dealing with her headache due to her neck & shoulder being out again!!!!

♥ Mom woke up early this morning with a very tired and sore body. Her and dad basically took it easy other than mom taking care of us and also gathering the garbage and yard debris then taking the containers to the curb for morning pick up!!!!

♥ Mom and dad will be back to their busy days again starting Monday. Mom says we will be getting lots of cattery time this week since we are suppose to have Summerlike weather all week!!!!

♥ K. FIDEL 14733; TONANTZIN 14732 & CHE 14734 as their sweet momma SARA CAZARES went to her Forever Sleep yesterday (4/20/2013) morning from complications follwing a stroke she had last year. Sara was a very active momma with her husband, 2 sons, 3 fur kits & 1 doggie as well with the schools and politics. She was still a young woman at age 48. She also used to be very active on CC. Many of us old CC timers were close to Sara and her kitties.
We are so sad to learn of her Forever Sleep and she will be deeply missed!!!!
Please keep this family in your prayers.

Hi Friends, I'm back again ~ Whyskrs Knight!

♥ WE'RE SO HAPPY THE 2ND BOSTON MARATHON BOMBER BROTHER HAS BEEN CAPTURED! ♥

♥ Bahneetah 10641 was feeling frisky this morning so I went to play with her, but mom told me no cuz I like to play too rough! So, I started racing from the kitchen to the front room a couple time! Mom says it's sure good to see me playing and feeling so good.

♥ Boy, was mom and dad busy today! First, after mom did all her kitty chores this morning, she went to the store to get a couple gallons of milk. Her and dad drinks alot of that and won't share it with me! They say it's not good for me cuz I get barfy after I drink just even a little amount!

♥ So anyways, when mom got back and had a bowl of uncooked oatmeal, she went outside to mow the front yard then while she waited for dad to get done taking his morning medications and ate, they both went out in the back yard to work. Dad used the little chainsaw to cut a few old boards. Mom came back in to open dad's bedroom window so we could go out in the cattery to watch them work. Then mom backed dad's truck up in the neighbors' driveway to load the truck up with scrap lumber to take to the scrap yard. Mom also used the chainsaw to cut a long 6X6. They did two big truck loads today. Mom fed us some strands of grass through the meshed wire on our cattery! YUMMY!

♥ In between dad hauling the wood away, mom dug out her solar lights in the back room, put the batteries in them and has them charging in the sun! She puts them away during the Winter months!

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 55 & low was 38 this morning, now it's 51 with humidity 80% & wind is 6 MPH N. Tuesday's suppose to be Mostly Cloudy & High 63.

Hi friends, it's me again, WHYSKRS KNIGHT!

♥ Mom wouldn’t feed me in the wee hours this morning when I pawed and meowed at the kitchen door! She wouldn’t even feed the other indoor kitties! Did she think by starving us that we will lose weight? MOL! Come to find out mom stuffed me in a carrier then carried me out to the truck and buckled me in. On our way to The Veterinary Hospital I meowed to mom in my soft voice several times and she told me I was going to be fine!

♥ After waiting awhile to see Dr. Nancy first. I weighed in at 20 pounds which means surprisingly to mom, I had lost 1.2 pounds since 2/25/2013! Dr. Nancy said my ears looked pretty good and no fever. She told mom that she was going to do my Dental work and Dr. Liz was going to do my growth removal surgery. She also told mom I was not getting a bath as it would be too much stress on my body.

♥ I was so happy to see mom when she came to get me! Dr. Liz and Staff said I was a good boy after waking up and did well. My blood work was good as well as my and with no xtractions. They did the biopsy and should hopefully know something next week. Dr. Liz says she doesn't think it's cancerous.

♥ I am anxiously waiting for FOOD! MOL! I haven't eaten since 10:00 Sunday night!

♥ Mom took 3 pictures of me today and you can see them in my gallery plus she changed my profile photo.

♥ Thank you for your prayers for me today! Rhoamin 2921 will return tomorrow evening!

Hi friends, it's me again, SASSEE KNIGHT!

♥ Dr. Liz called Friday evening and told mom that my bloodwork and urinalysis tests results were FANTASTIC (Dr. Liz's word!)! She also told mom that I can have 0.4ml of the pain medicine (Buprenorphine) up to three times in one day so mom gave me another dose of 0.2ml last night at bedtime. That's all mom gives me as she doesn't think I need 0.4 (yet).

♥ Mom has noticed that I am feeling a little better today as I'm a bit more active of being in the front room rather than dad's dark bedroom. I even laid on the couch next to mom while she watched tv this morning. I hardly ever lay next to her on the couch! She lightly massaged my front legs and tummy rubs.

♥ I won't be back tomorrow evening as WHYSKRS 10378 will have a SPECIAL request for you all! I do Thank you for your wonderful prayers for me and your loving support! You are such sweet friends and we love you!

♥ Mom finally received a little book in the mail this afternoon called "I Could Pee On This" through her Fresh Step Litter Paw Points that she used late January.

My Mom and I would like to wish you and your family a very happy belated Easter!!
I´m purring load to be back on line. Our parents traveled to the south of Argentina (to the Patagonia) for their vacations and we were off line for a couple of weeks. Mom told us they visited many nice places and some of our most beautiful National Parks too. She was really happy and we were more than glad to have her back home with us. MOL!
We had guests at home yesterday. Mommy cooked lasagna and caramel cream and we, of course, helped her in the kitchen. Mrs. Pucca went to hide under our parents´ bed when the family arrived, but I stayed downstairs with Willow supervising everything and giving whisker kisses to all.
Mr. Bunny brought many chocolates to Mom and Dad and since he is a wise bunny, he brought us kitties two canned salmon. It was soooooo yummy. I like this bunny!
I hope you have a purrfect night, my friend. Here is a kitty kiss along with a huge bunch of hugs...

Our hearts are heavy to learn of the passing of Buckster Hashbrown. He and our Benny Dachshund were great pals. They were two members of the 5 B's Detective Agency, "Have Nose Will Travel." Do you remember the case of the "Missing Red Mousie?" It is so hard to lose a furbaby, but try to remember all the love and good times you shared. You are in all our prayers. Princess Diaries: We got the results back from my Senior Blood Work...Dr. P. called & said I have a muscle enzyme CPK (creatine phosphokinase) reading very high in my blood work...Normal range should be between 0-300 but mine is in the high 1000..If this enzyme is greatly elevated, it indicates some damage to muscle cells which then release or leak the enzyme into the bloodstream. A single sample tells us that there is damage at that moment in time, and it usually clears up in a short amount of time...I will have to go back to see Dr. Perretti in 6 months and have my blood work redone...Repeated testing, if still elevated, tells us that the problem is on-going..Careful evaluation for signs of muscle swelling, growths, pain, heat or inflammation will usually direct your attention to that area...Since I have not had an injury that Mommy is aware of (& Mommy would know since she is very diligent where I am concerned) Dr. P. can't pinpoint where the enzyme is coming from...Types of conditions associated with elevations include degenerative muscle diseases, bruising, trauma of the muscles, inflammatory muscle disease, bacterial abscesses in the muscles, tumors that infiltrate muscles, or cardiac disease. The heart muscle, when damaged, will sometimes release a fair bit of CPK, & this is the most significant & most immediate rule out...Thankfully, I do not have a heart murmur, elevated blood pressure or other signs of heart disease, so Dr. P. told Mommy not to panic or fret, he just wanted us to be aware & retest in 6 months...Of course, Mommy is very concerned but she has relaxed a bit & is not freaking out as much as she was thanks to the support from all of Mommy's friends on the FB, CC Survivors Page..Special thanks to Casey's Mom Sandy for giving Mommy a link on Google to get all the info concerning this enzyme...Since I am Mommy's only child she tends to worry a lot about me...She said. "Cookie, what would I do without you"...I said "Geesh Mommy, you need to catch your mind, it's running away with itself"...The woman really needs to stop all this doom and gloom and think good thoughts...Thankfully my optimistic Daddy always lightens things up...His famous words are always "don't look for trouble". & " positive thoughts bring a positive outcome "..Daddy is a glass 1/2 full kinda guy...That's why we keep him around...MOL...And of course cause he spoils us rotten...Oops, I mean he spoils me rotten...Mommy won't admit it but he indulges and spoils her too...Don't tell her I told you..So, that is this weeks news...I leave you with this quote Mommy saw on Twitter cause she thinks everyone should live by it.....Dance as though no one is watching you, love as though you have never been hurt before, sing as though no one can hear you, live as though Heaven is on Earth--Souza...Wishing everyone a Happy Easter or Passover, which ever one it may be...Have a purrfect week...Purrs, Pretty Princess Pretty

Princess Diaries: This week was to eventful for me...First Mommy took my Innova food away from me...She said it was recalled & not safe for me to eat..I got new food called Verus, it tastes pretty good & I just might keep eating it cause Mommy said my poops even looked better then normal...Gosh, why does she have to embarrass me talking about my litter box habits...The woman never learns...Anywho, my Vet, Dr. P. said it was comparable to Innova so we'll see...If changing my food wasn't enough the other day Mommy put my Carrier on the couch & called me out of my stroller...I had a feeling something was up, I was very apprehensive to come all the way out...Then she tried to trick me into coming out by shaking my Greenie container...Nope, I knew what she was up to so I wouldn't move, I stood in my stroller looking at her till she pulled a really underhanded trick...She brought a Strawberry out..Stupid me, I couldn't resist and I approached her cautiously but she grabbed me and before I knew it I was in the darn Carrier on the way to see Dr. P. for my yearly check-up & 3 yr rabies shot..Little did I know I would also get my first blood test ever...Dr. P. said I was such a good girl during my exam & getting my needles...I always have to have a second needle of Benadryl cause I have a bad reaction to the rabies shot...Mommy stood right next to me till he took me away to do the blood work...Poor Mommy was beside herself & when he brought me back he made Mommy smile...He said I did great & didn't even complain...I never complain, I am such a sweet natured, loving, charming girl...I like Dr. P. lots cause he is very sweet & gentle and never hurts me...I would be remiss if I didn't also say he is mighty good looking too...I know a handsome man when I see one..MOL...The blood work was just to get a baseline since I am a senior girl now...I got a clean bill of health & he expects my blood work to be okay too...I am keeping my paws crossed...I was good as gold on the way home & I wasn't even angry at Mommy... I know she doesn't like to see me upset so I cut her a break...Aren't I thoughtful...We had a nice nap afterwards...I laid beside Mommy purring away while she stroked my head and neck for 20 minutes before we fell asleep...I know Mommy was sneaky but I understand it was for my own good...Mommy makes sure that I am always safe and well because she loves me so much...Oh and guess what, I made Dr. P. really laugh...Mommy told him about my passion for Strawberries, he said he never heard anything like that..She also told him I love Grapefruit...He thought that was so funny & cute too...He thinks I am most unusual for a kitty & he said those things were healthy for me to eat...I sure was happy about that...What can I say, I know I am extraordinary in every way...The rest of my week was pretty uneventful...Hope you had a good week...Now, time for me to get a Strawberry and chow down..See you next week...Purrs, Princess Purrfect

Happy Caturday everyone & thank you for your vote support yesterday! Are you ready for another zoo trip? I hope so because this is going to be a big one & you’ll be exhausted by the time we’re done walking around. I’ve taken the liberty of reserving rooms for us to stay overnight & have assured the hotel manager that all of us will behave. That’s a hint for anyone with unusual ideas again this weekend…MOL! Okay, I just got the green light for us to board the Cyclone Express tour plane so let’s get aboard because it’s going to be a long flight to Vienna, Austria to visit one of the must see places of the area, which is the Tiergarten Schönbrunn (the Zoo)!
Vienna's Tiergarten Schonbrunn offers one of the most unique and refined zoo experiences in the world. Originally constructed around the turn of the 17th century, this Austrian landmark is often considered as the world's first modern zoo. The zoo was founded by the husband of Empress Maria Theresa and was often frequented by members of the Hapsburg dynasty for their summer retreats. Today it still retains much of its original beauty and tranquil charm with magnificent 18th century buildings and a stunning botanical garden. The Tiergarten Schönbrunn was voted the best European Zoo in 2010. What makes this Zoo so special is the location, as it’s found inside the Schönbrunn imperial palace and gardens domain, so there’s plenty to see in the few square kilometers of open sky, trees, elegant gardens and magnificent architecture. The best things about Tiergarten Schonbrunn Zoo is the vast open space where animals roam almost free, with just a few cages for birds that would fly away if not restricted this way. If you bring the kits with you they’ll be delighted by the peacocks roaming at their feet and other curios animals that are walking together with the visitors. There are even visiting hours for feeding the animals! That’s the best thing about the Tiergarten Schonbrunn Zoo: it doesn’t look like a Zoo in most part, but more like an interactive educational school. If you don’t feel like visiting the Zoo you can always visit the Schonbrunn gardens because I guarantee you’ll like them too. Just make sure you don’t stand in the way of those practicing Yoga or jogging between the perfectly cut trees. There are other things to see at Schonbrunn domain besides the Zoo, imperial palace and gardens. On my list there’s the Gloriette gate, the labyrinth and the famous the Palm House. I don’t know about all of you but I’m excited to be going to Austria! We’ll be staying at the Hotel Bergwirt, which is pet friendly & enjoys a privileged location directly next to Schönbrunn Gardens. The unique character of this hotel, the informal atmosphere and the impressions of a beautiful city will make our visit an unforgettable experience. ♥ Hi friends, it's me, SASSEE KNIGHT!

♥ Well, I have been not in a good mood and just being very sassy like! I have been hissy and growly at the other kitties plus xtra meowing. I even growled and hissed at mom when she picked me up the other day to hold! Mom knew there was something wrong and seen my front legs were swollen as well. She knew my allergies were acting up and that I was in pain so mom checked her CC cards and got me in to see Dr. Liz at 1:00 this afternoon.

♥ Mom said I was being a good girl and only meowed a few times on our way then I was quiet. I weighed in at 18.6 pounds, which Dr. Liz said I am about 5 pounds overweight. I was being good for her and she said my heart sounded really good and temperature was normal. Dr. Liz told mom she didn't want to give me a Steroid shot at my age cuz it could cause me to get Diabetes so mom is to give me Prednisolone for about week. Dr. Liz also said that I have Elbow Arthritis so mom will have to get a tube of stuff later from them to help me on that.

♥ When we got back home, mom gave me my first pill and then she will give me another one this evening. After that, mom gave me 3 Greenies treats and the others got only two!

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 48 & low was 32 this morning, now it's 48 feels like 46 with humidity 61% & wind is 11 MPH W. Friday's suppose to be Mostly Cloudy & High 50.

♥ Mom didn't get much sleep on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning due to Whyskrs' 10378 pawing at the kitchen door (as usual), then we heard a big dog barking coming from our back yard, but luckily it was a neighbor whose back yard meets the corner of our back yard. They are nice neighbors. Mom did go out to make sure the outside kitties were ok and they were as they were still in their beds.

♥ Callie 239447 got barfy with a fur ball early Wednesday morning then I got barfy after drinking water. Mom held me while lying down on the couch then I felt better and loudly purred for mom!!!!

♥ Mom cleaned our house yesterday better than normal cuz mom and dad's Bible Study friend brought the Circuit Overseer with him which was also about an hour later than usual, too.

♥ After mom got off the computer last night, I got up on her lap when she sat down on the couch. She held me for a long time then I went in the bathroom to sleep for awhile. After I woke up, mom fed me, then I had her hold me some more. Boy, I sure took advantage of mom's time last night!!!! Tehehehe!!!!

♥ This afternoon, Mom was able to buy another vile of Frontline Plus for Dogs to do Kittzi 160203, Sylvester 11567, NeuBee 123633, Suezee 11528, Sissee 11531, Patch 12767 and TC plus mom had to buy some Droncit pills to deworm Callie, Bahneetah 10641, Jazpyr 10428 and Sassee 10605.

Princess Diaries: Boring week except one cute thing happened...Daddy had a surprise for Mommy...He decided to give Mommy her most favorite goodie, Chocolate Covered Strawberries...He always buys them for her Birthday, Valentine's Day & their Anniversary but this time he was going to actually make them for her for no occasion....Yes, my Daddy is one of a kind, very special & he is really adorable too...He was very excited, he got the Strawberries & the Chocolate & was going to create the purrfect dipped strawberry, he so was pleased with himself he set a chair up for Mommy to watch....I said "quick Mom get a video camera", this was going to be worth filming but of course she didn't listen to me, what a dummy..It was pretty sweet to watch & pretty comical too...First he tried making the stems on the strawberries cooperate so he could dip the berries nicely...Of course he tried making them easy to handle but then the stems fell off...Now he had nothing to grip so he had to swish the berries around in the chocolate using his fingers...Yup, he had more chocolate on his fingers then on the berries...Finally the berries were dipped but they had fingerprint marks on the chocolate & they really looked so pathetic by the time he was done...I sat & watched Daddy all the while meowing my assistance but he didn't listen to me...Really Daddy, I could do a better job....Finally when he was finished he was so proud of himself that Mommy & I just had to tell him what a great job he did...Of course those strawberries were a sad sight, they looked like they were the rejects from a purrfect batch of beautiful Chocolate Covered Strawberries bought from a store...Mommy thought it was so sweet of him to even try to make them for her so she fussed & carried on about how how she couldn't believe he went to all that trouble for her...I, on the other hand was tired of waiting & I wanted some and I wanted some NOW so I stood by Daddy pawing his leg...He kept telling me "give me a minute Princess" ...Once they were ready to eat Daddy placed them on a plate for Mommy & he made a plate for me with one giant juicy plain strawberry...We all sat down in the living room & Daddy took my strawberry treat & held it for me while I devoured it licking & slurping all that juicy goodness till there was nothing left while Mommy ate her treat which she said was yummy too...I've got to tell you they didn't look so good but to Mommy they really were the most beautiful Chocolate Covered Strawberries she ever saw just because my Daddy made them for her...I know the two of them are so mushy it's sickening...I think Daddy was just trying to score points cause with the warmer weather comes Golf and I know he can't wait to get out on the Golf course...At least that's my take on things...Geesh, humans sure are complicated ...Anywho, that's it for now from the Jersey Shore...Have a purrfect week, see you soon...Purrs, The Strawberry Princess

The temperature was high 55 & low was 30 this morning, now it's 53 with humidity 54% & wind is 7 MPH N. Tuesday's suppose to be Rain & High 59.

♥ After we got off CC last night, mom had an email from Walgreens for a FREE 8X10 Collage so mom had one done up with NeuBee 123633 mostly along with Sylvester 11567 and Suezee 11531 in it with a green background. Mom picked it up this morning on her way back home from her appointment. Mom plans on putting it in NeuBee's Scrapbook when mom starts on it.

♥ Later this morning, dad held us one by one so mom could give us our pawdicures then she put that Frontline Plus for Dogs on us. We also got treats as we were pretty good!!!! Not only all that, but mom and dad took ME, Whyskrs 10378, Bahneetah 10641, Jazpyr 10428 and Sassee 10605 outside in the front yard!!!! We all enjoyed it and we ate lots of grass.

♥ Mom and dad worked in the front yard some today pulling weeds and digging up a couple Hollyhocks from the flower beds.

♥ Patch 12767 gave mom a good scare a couple days ago with her not showing herself til late that afternoon. You see, Patch is a sound sleeper and mom keeps telling her it's not good to be sleeping so hard being an outside girl.

♥ Guess what???? There's a new kitty that mom has seen a few times in the back yard. It's black & white and very, very skiddish. Mom says looking at the kitty from the backside that it looks just like Six 10139. Mom seen the face, too, but no black spot on it's chin.

We decided to travel to Ireland to find a fine Irish Kitty to be our St. Patrick’s Day COTD on March 17th! And, lo and behold, we found a family of cats who have been CC members for over five years. Millie #60253 is the Queen of this family. She came to live with her Mom after her Mom’s dog crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Her Mom’s sister brought Millie to her as a gift to help her heal. Millie was joined later by a brother Dinny and a sister Rihanna. She loves to explore the great outdoors and is quite an escape artist. Who could blame her wanting to spend time in the beautiful Irish fields and gardens? Let’s make this a very special St. Patrick’s day for Millie and her family by leaving her a vote on Saturday so she can become our St. Patrick’s Day COTD!

We hope you were able to attend the Memorial Service for Angel Maggie tonight. If not, we know you were there in spirit. It was too beautiful for words. When you get a chance, you should go to Angel Maggie's page (# 78317) and read the opening ceremony spoken by Angel Maggie's Dad. It will bring tears to your eyes. A prayer was said for Buckster Hashbrown at the memorial service. We are so very sorry for your loss.
