janet pressed the wrong key and isn't going to take time to change it. got baking to do gingerbread cake for mommys belated birthday, pumpkin chiffon pie and butter crisp cookies so won't be long before the house will smell super yummy! got a soueaster out there going and feels more like spring than the first day of winter.....by the way happy first day of winter......whereas tomorrow will feel like winter and more so through most of this upcoming holiday long weekend. sandy, ana, haley, angels

awakens late. She just couldn't stop thinking about the wonderful horse-drawn carriage ride with Mikey last night. It was very, very romantic. Mike even had the carriage stop on one of the bridges, took her in his arms and gave her a lonnnnggggg kiss. Swoon. They slowly headed back to the hotel with their arms around each other and dolly's head on his shoulder both in their own thoughts for a few minutes......

good morning everyone...
lia, maia and jo jo are up and have packed their bags...they bring them to the lobby, set them down and then go into the breakfast room where they meet all the other girls...
we are sad to leave this beautiful place..it has been a wonderful weekend...
the girls finish breakfast..go shopping at the confectioner's shop, purchase their fudge..and get their magic carpets ready for takeoff...hey..anyone see sammy? gosh....

sammy comes down the stairs, dragging his suitcase...says hello..and then waves to everyone...goodbye, all..it was a fun time...see you all later...

they all get on their magic carpets..and fly home...

Lily joins the group headed down to the beach
for a bonfire and "tanning" some marshmallows. She says she brought some graham crackers and a box of chocolates. Speaking of chocolate, we must go get some fudge tomorrow, the island specializes in hand made fudge.

Lily says her mom took a picture of the girls in front of the Grand. Jo Jo didn't want to let go of the rigging. MOL she is still hanging on to it in the picture. Maybe she is setting off some fireworks.

The boys are tired,
but exuberant as they greet Lily and the girls, who they can't believe have been finished the race long enough to look like they do.

Lady Dolly runs up to hug Mike, but he holds her off and tells her that pretty dress would never survive the contact right now. Mallow mouths "P.U." and Evie & Patches giggle at their brothers (knowing that they were just as bad a few hours ago). Dolly slips Mike his key so that he can get cleaned up.

Lily greets the boys warmly when she sees they
have docked, and teases them about their refreshments. She has lacy white sundress with navy embroidery, and matching parasol. She says the lunch was devine and asks if anyone wants to play croquet

She tells Lady Dolly, Mallow, Evie, Maia, Lia and Jo Jo that she lives just south of the Michigan border and that her family will be going to Mackinaw City Sunday Mackinac Island Monday. They are not staying at The Grand, Lily whispers, they are staying near the bridge to the upper peninsula. I don't even think mom OWNS a lacy parasol. Lily rolls her eyes

lia, maia and jo jo arrive at the
luncheon with all the girls..they see them all..wave with their frilly handkerchiefs and parasols..and greet them with hugs...oh..we all look soo beautiful..just like "somewhere in time"...(mom's favorite movie and music)..
the boys have arrived..oh gosh, they look soo tired and frazzled...maybe we should all promise to be nice to them..even though they won...it was a wonderful race..for all of us..all in good fun..i just hope the boys agree with that..i sure don't want any hard feelings..
the girls are all seated by waiters and they order a sweet ice tea to start...and then lean forward to take part in the reminiscing of their adventures they had on board the "dolphin"..
dolly, jo jo says...did you know sammy and i are related, too? we have the same pawrents, only a year apart?

I don't think
Mike will care if it's cold by the look of him, Mallow laughs, as long as it's not lake water.

She says Mom has been in BC since she was 11 and has been there ever since except for a year in Utah. She likes it pretty well. The humans drove across the country when they moved and Angel Jezebel went in a plane.

Evie says she's been in a plane, too, and didn't have to fly in cargo like poor Angel Jezebel did.

that she is an Arizonian from Keanu & Kizzy Kat and that Miles is her brother from an earlier litter. Sir Leo was born in San Diego county and both Angels Rani and Lily Rose are Washitonians. What a mixture of states we're all from, mol.

Dolly tells Mallow & Evie's mom that she had a beautiful place to grow up in on Lake Ontario and wonders how long she has been in B.C. Does she like it there as well?

My gosh, those boyz look hungover and grundgy. Yuck. I drew a bath for Mike in his suite before I came to lunch. Hope the water isn't cold, she says, as she takes another bite of poached salmon salad.

tell Dolly that THEIR Mom's family is from just across the lake from their starting point in Port Huron, in Elgin County Ontario. Mom never lived there, she grew up in a place called Belleville, on Lake Ontario.

Is it ever good to feel clean and "feline" again, Evie declares while digging in to her tuna salad.

Oh look, says Mallow, here come the guys finally. Did WE look that bad when we first got here?
