my stepmom was on her way home from the barn, when she saw this little black and white kitten in the middle of the road, so she picked him up, and brought him home for me.

Breathtaking transformation
The snowflake is a simple example of self-assembly. There is no blueprint or genetic code that guides the growth of a snowflake, yet marvelously complex structures appear, quite literally out of thin air.
