Walking one foot in front of the other--Foot facts “As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.” -Henry David Thoreau .......²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²². ...... 1. The human foot contains 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles. 2. Your feet mirror your general health. Conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, nerve and circulatory disorders can show their initial symptoms in the feet --so foot ailments can be our first sign of more serious medical problems. Biomechanical fault and strain affect the knees, joints and L5. 3. There are 250,000 sweat glands in a pair of feet. Sweat glands in the foot excrete as musch as a half pint of moisture a day. 4. The average person takes 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day, which adds up to about 115,000 miles ove a lifetime. That's enough to go around the circumference of the earth four times. A little more about me My first year with my mommy I decided to take over the christmas tree and claim it as my own tree. Now that I am bigger and older mommy has to tie the tree down to a cemet brick. What a spoiled brat I have become and I do not like it when my christmas tree gets messed with even by my mommy. This year I decided to become really rotten and started to remove the decorations along with a light and socket from the strand of lights on the christmas tree. I put 5 decoations on the floor and my own little puppy mommy got for me got ahold of 3 of them. Boy, was mommy mad. So my mommy decided to remove the decorations from the tree and the brat that I am started to hit her but that didn't stop mommy. I still think that I can lay in the tree so mommy has to keep fluffying the tree. Time to start forming a new plan for next year!!! What will I do next year to the christmas tree????? Any ideas?????Come visit me, Storm.

I am here as a person who, according to the law courts of my country, it has been decided, is of no value to the community at all. Women, many of whom you respect, women whom you know have lived useful lives, women whom you know, even if you do not know them personally are animated with the highest movtives, women who are in pursuit of liberty and the power to do useful public service...unless you are prepared to put back civilization two or three generations, you must give those women the vote. Federal & state holiday Friday ~11:11:11~(Veteran's-Armistice-Remembrance Day~ On November 11th, we remember the brave fallen. We owe so much to the sacrifices of a very few. **End of WWI in 1918: A day for Reflection** In 1918, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, hostilities between the Western Allies and Germany ceased, effectively ending what was until then the bloodiest conflict in human history. The phrase “at the 11th hour” is biblical (Matthew 20:6 — “And about the eleventh hour) and it is understood to mean “at the very last possible minute.” After the war, a park was created at the site called the Clairiere de L’Armistice (the Clearing of the Armistice). A concrete pavilion was built to house the rail car, and a statue of Foch was erected along with a plaque that read: “Here on the eleventh of November 1918 succumbed the criminal pride of the German empire ... vanquished by the free peoples which it tried to enslave.” °l11|11|11l°(A Palindromic Moment)°l11|11|11l° **Symmetry makes us feel safe and balanced. Nov. 11, 2011, the date when three 11s will align for the first time in a century. There's nothing unusual about the time 11:11 or the date 11/11/11 except the unofficial start of the 2012 metaphysical year. **Mathematics The number eleven, as the sixth prime number, has a special characteristic in mathematics. It contains some interesting peculiarities where the number eleven multiplied by itself equals a palindrome (remains the same when its digits are reversed): (2 digits) 11 x 11 = 121 (6 digits) 111111 x 111111 = 12345654321 (9 digits) 111111111 x 111111111 = 12345678987654321 (> ” ” <)..........Here's your vote, FurFriend ( =’o'= ) (,,) - (,,) - ChloeCome visit me, Team RAGDOLL PAWesome PURRsonality #235194, :¦:Chloe:•:(¯`v´¯):•- :208036:¦: & Team CHLOE, a PAWSitively PURRfect NAME #234964.

Dayllight savings comes to an end at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning. With the clocks turned back, it will be less dark in the morning but darkness will fall earlier in the evening. Arizona, Hawaii and Puerto Rico stay on standard time all year round. The concept of daylight-saving time may have first been proposed by Benjamin Franklin in 1784 to the Parisians. The thought was that Americans would appreciate an extra hour of sunlight and conserve energy (candles and oil back then). Transitions may disrupt chronobiologic rhythms and influence the duration and quality of sleep as the effect lasts for several days after the shift. People who suffer with sleep disorders seem to find the bi-annual transitions more difficult. The extra hour of sleep means a lost hour of afternoon sun, which increases reliance on electricity and decreases the potential for, vitamin D-giving outdoor activities. Nearly half of the world’s population has lower than optimal levels of vitamin D, often called the sunshine vitamin. ¨‘°ºOOº°‘¨¨‘°ºOOº°‘¨Until March 11, 2012¨‘°ºOOº°‘¨¨‘°ºOOº°‘¨ ¨‘°ºOOº°‘¨"Time is valuable, and when it is gone, it is gone. By 1927, that figure doubled. In just over 30 years, it hit 3 billion. Population figures have doubled in the last 50 years. Every 24 hours on our planet some 237,000 people are born and 140,000 die. Nearly half the world’s population is under the age of 25 and entering their childbearing years. The United Nation's figures come with a 1-2% margin of error. On October 31, the world's 7 billionth person will be born. A world of 7 billion poses many challenges, implications for sustainability, urbanization, access to health services and youth empowerment and countless opportunities to make a positive difference. The UN's reason for naming a symbolic date as 7 Billion Day is to draw attention to the speed of population growth, with less than 13 years having passed between the six-billion and seven-billion milestones. Lost in a maze craze ((¯`v´¯))Octo*ber news VOTE!((¯`v´¯)) You can grow it, shuck it, pop it, cook it and even play in it. It seems to be less about eating it and more about getting lost in it as the newest form of "agritainment". Some stumble onto the correct pathways and exit the maze in minutes; the more directionally-challenged wander the puzzles for up to several hours. Still a fun, clean, educational and unique recreation for all ages. A couple got lost at Connors Farm's corn maze in Danvers, MA. It has a scale difficulty of 9 out of 10. Another warm beautiful day in NH, hope it lasts !! ((¯`v´¯))Nature’s autumn palette ((¯`v´¯)) Your VOTE comes with a rainbow leaf bouquet tied with bows of iridescent ribbon. Fall’s changing colors are linked to cooling temperatures, decreasing sunlight and soil moisture. Chlorophyll gives plants their green color. Glucose is trapped in the leaves after photosynthesis stops. Sunlight and the cool nights in autumn cause the leaves to turn glucose into colors which become visible after the chlorophyll disappears. The bright red and purple fall foliage colors come from anthocyanin pigments, orange colors from carotene and yellows from xanthophyll. Different combinations of these pigments give us a wide range of colors each fall. Brown fall foliage colors come from tannin, a bitter waste product. Sunny Sweet Sunday ((¯`v´¯))Octo*ber_ries with your VOTE!((¯`v´¯)) Delight in peace and life ... Happiness as light and breezy as air. Love as deep as the blue ocean. Furfriends as solid as diamonds. Success as bright as gold like the grace of autumn. I wish these wishes for you today and everyday, a lifetime of beautiful tomorrows. "Crispy air and azure skies, High above, a white cloud flies, Bright as newly fallen snow. Oh the joy to those who know October! Colors bright on bush and tree. Over the weedy swamp, we see A veil of purple and brown and gold. Thy beauty words have never told. October! Scolding sparrows on the lawn, Rabbits frisking home at dawn, Pheasants midst the sheaves of grain, All in harmony acclaim, October! Brown earth freshly turned by plow, Apples shine on bended bough, Bins o'erflowed with oats and wheat, And satisfaction reigns complete. October! Radiant joy is everywhere. Spirits in tune to the spicy air, Thrill in the glory of each day. Life's worth living when we say, October!" New England destination ((¯`v´¯))Week-end's here. Another VOTE !!(¯`v´¯)) I sit here a meowing, all perched in my tree, the words are not there, but the lyrics are free, a sweet morning of purrs, to the pleasure of all, a cool and bright morning, New England in fall. The leaves are all parting, the days they grow short, the colors of Autumn; before Winter's return, the splendor is there, for all to come see, come visit New England, and spend Fall with furrfriends? Smile and the world smiles with you ((¯`v´¯))October 7: World Smile Day(¯`v´¯)) The first Friday of October each year marks World Smile Day, a day to do one act of kindness. Spread a little happiness to make the world a better place. Harvey Ball, creator of the now famous yellow smiley face, thought the logo was becoming too commercial and losing its real meaning. Here's your furrfriend's smiling VOTE! Leaves are falling all around Red, yellow, orange, and brown. Twirling, swirling to the ground Look how many leaves I've found! Come little leaves, said the wind one day, Come o'er the meadows with me and play; Put on your dresses of red and gold - For summer is gone and the days grow cold. Leaves in the autumn came tumbling down, Scarlet and yellow, russet and brown. Leaves in the garden were swept in a heap, Trees were undressing ready for sleep.
