To Cheddar and Swiss
Hey, sending in a check is just as important. I wish I could do that but I'm on a fixed income and this is my way of contributing. I do, however, but paint-by-numbers and engraving foil art -- mostly pictures of animals. The foil art, which comes in silver, gold or copper as well as rainbow and holographic is a type of art where you use a tool -- that looks similar to a scalpel -- and scrape away the outer coating to reveal the picture under-neath to reveal the picture, as I said, either in copper, silver, gold, a rainbow of colors or holographic. When they are completed, I sell them to raise money for different animal and environmental charities.
That's the same thing I do with paint-by-number paintings. When I finish them, I embellish them with glitter glue to make them sparkly. It also gives them an added 3-D dimension that makes them stand out more. All this for the kitties and other animals who need help.

Replying to your answer about pictures and such...
Chedder and Swiss.
Now its my time to apologize for taking so long to reply.
I have been spending time helping out at this no-kill shelter I regularly volunteer for in Brighton, Massachu-setts. It is one of the oldest No-Kill shelters here. It was founded in 1884 by a rich woman who was a cat lover Ellen M. Gifford. One of the good things about it is the cats aren't in cages. They are allowed to roam free within the inside enclosure. There are some cages but they are the size of a small bathroom and allow the cats movement without crowding them in. These are for new cats who haven't gotten used to the place yet or ones who have a mild case of sickness that is not communicable to the others. There is also a separate house with rooms for pregnant and nursing queens and for cats who are FIV positive. And in the building with the eight ceiling to floor cages, there is a separate room called the nursery, where the kittens younger than one year are kept -- along with those who are too young for their required vacci-nations.
I volunteer on a regular basis to interact with the cats in a gentle, positive way because some of them are victims of abuse. This of course means talking to them, holding them -- if they let me and playing with them. This goes the same with the kittens when its kitten season. They had a yard sale this past weekend so that's what I was doing, minding the tables and going inside to play with the cats and kittens as well. Boy...that can exhaust a person....Going to sign off for now. Don't want to bore you with too long a blog.
