What I love about my owners: She saved me from going to animal control! I am a momma's boy!

How We Met
On December 7, 2010, when he was 5 weeks old, store security where I work found him stuck up in a trailer on the loading dock. He and his cat mom were probably trying to find a warm place to get away from the cold. It was going to freeze that night. His cat mom was a feral cat. The store manager called me back to the receiving area and there he was in a box. Store security already called animal control to pick him up. I took one look at him and and said, No Way is he going to animal control! Call them back and say he has a home already.
I am named after Muto Kenji, master of the Muto Tribe Family, in the 'Tales of the Otori', a series of historical fantasy novels set in feudal Japan, written by Lian Hearn. Mom believes I was sent by Nigel (he went to the Bridge on October 22, 2010--he had cancer) and Nigel made sure mom found me. I was found 7 weeks after Nigel passed. Mom and dad needed me just as much as I needed them!

Freckles started out as a feral kitten living under a shed. When the dogs started barking at the spot Freckles’ soon to be Dad found her and she then became part of a new family in a furever loving home. She is quite the little hunter now. She decided go on an hunting trip in the house and let her Mom’s mouse out of it’s cage. She’s now trying to figure out how to get at her Mom’s fish. A difficult task but she is quite the persistent kitty. She lives with her adopted fur mom Patches as well as a pup named Palin..She loves wrestling with them both. She also loves smacking around a crinkle ball and causing chaos any way she can…
Won’t you please stop over at her page, 210423 and give this little girl a vote so she can get her very own COTD badge…I know she will be so very grateful.

Your meowmy is a quick thinker and acts right on the stop. It's great that she was there at that very moment when they heard your cries.
I can see why you are her shadow. I follow my meowmy and want to be wherever she is. She would not have it any other way. She always looks out for me, too.
