Nicknames: Troublemaker And Vash -- from an anime that my human's friend told her about and two more since "The Tower of Destruction" because it was referred to on the show "Dark Shadows" where I got the name Quentin. It seems his grandmother was showing him a Tarot card of that name while telling him he was that card and so am I as a cat and I have also been elected as the ""Mayor of Mayhem" because that's what I create when I want attention.

Education: She likes it when I cock my head to the right or left because it looks like I understand every word she says...perhaps I quite 'literally' do!
My favorite tricks and treats are: As for tricks, I like to sit on top of my Le Bistro waterer wiggle my butt and telescope my head downwards so I can watch the water gurgle down. and As for treats, I've sampled a jelly doughnut, two kinds of danish, lemon and strawberry, a grilled cheese sandwich, boneless chicken -- one of my favorite things, an avocado - which I wasn't too fond of and a lick of lasagna which my human took away because it contained garlic. All of these things only once because my owner knows these things are bad for me on a regular basis.
Where I hang out: In the windows because I like to "snackwatch" the birds.
My favorite grubs: It is Friskies Tasty treasures because I discovered I like cheese.
My pet peeves: Getting my claws clipped and the mucus wiped from my eyes...as for that thing called a bath...My owner hasn't attempted that feat yet...We'll see...heh heh! Oh...and my other pet peeve...the damn fire alarm in our building. I agree with my cousin Tut, who lives in the same building. It is a very great irritant and makes me wish I could take a sledgehammer to it. How effensive...to irritate a Cat's delicate hearing!
What I love about my owners: She has patience with me no matter what mischief I make.
My cat hobbies: Carrying around my (of course) Faux Leopard furred ball with the feathers at the bottom.. .because it is filled with Catnip. And knock everything I can get my paws on from every surface in her apartment.
Pet motto: There's never such a thing as too much troublemaking and curiosity...Is there?

How We Met
I was in a cage at Kindness animal hospital, she came in with a wand toy, proceeded to play with me and I pushed my front paw through the bars of the cage and touched her finger. From that second on, the deal was sealed and I knew she was my human.

Hey, Quentin!
Thanks for your visit! About my name, the actual character I'm named for was a reptilian like alien being, G'kar, who initially started as an antagonist, but, over time in the series, became an ally, to the main characters. Mom says she thinks you can still find the Babylon Five series on disc. Dad's niece named all of us. She's the official " giver of feline names" in our families. She said she just liked the way the names sounded, and that they are unusual! My name is spelled differently, because its easier to pronounce that way. People got confused by G' kar.

Hi again Quentin!
Neelix here. I got my name from one of the characters on Star Trek, the Next Generation. Mom's youngest niece has had the task of naming all the felines in our families since she was nine. Hedley is named after a character in the movie Blazing Saddles, and Jakar is named after a character on the series Babylon Five, although we spell it differently for pronunciation ease. For myself, I'm part Bengal. Mom calls me her 50-50 bar because I'm half mackerel stripes and half spots. Those are some great photos of you! Did you guys make it trough the storm ok? Many purrs! HI Quentin!
Thanks for coming by and sharing so much about your family. My Mom did some volunteer work at the shelter she adopted me from, and wants to go back again when Dad is feeling better. Right now she takes care of him and doesn't have too much time away from the house.
But at the shelter, she loved playing with the kitties that no one paid attention to...there were a lot of feral kitties that were allowed to stay in the screened in porch, but they were so scared, that they stayed way up high on a shelf that had been built to function like a perch. It was so sad to see the older kitties that no one wanted to adopt.....but this is a no-kill shelter, and donations keep it going. ANd there were always plenty of kittens, and of course, they adopt out easily.
I just love your pictures...you really know how to pose so perfectly! you are a sweetheart, and I'm so happy to know you and your family.

Our Meowmy loves your name! She found me (Siggy) at the local humane society shelter and I was so happy I licked her shirt all over. They told her I was around one year old, so she figured all my hijinks were due to my age and I'd grow out of it. Now I'm around 4 years old and still have to be in the middle of everything and investigating every new thing I see. So you can probably look forward to a lot more fun!
