Nicknames: Momma likes to call me chittykitty or monkeybutt when I'm doing silly stuff!

Education: I have learned how to wrap Momma around my paw really well. I'm pretty good at catching lizzards that hide around the rocks in the flower beds. With Momma's help I'm learning to live with Diabetes. I'm not too happy I can't have as many treats as I use to but Mom has found other stuff for me that tastes pretty good.
My favorite tricks and treats are: Waking Mom up early every morning so we can go outside. I'm an indoor cat so she sits on the porch and drinks her coffee while I scope out the bird feeders. and I love Ham and almost anything Momma eats I like to try, except veggies, YUCK!
Where I hang out: Under the electric blanket on cold nights. Momma has a collection of old quilts and they are real comfy! Momma got a new real fuzzy bathrobe last week and I really like it a lot, she told me she guesses she will have to buy another one for herself since I took over this one!
My favorite grubs: I have my own glass that I drink water out of, Momma holds it for me so I can get a drink before we go to sleep and then she leaves it on the nightstand so I can get drinks at night.
My pet peeves: Not getting my dinner on time and Mom not getting out of bed in the morning.
What I love about my owners: Momma is really gentle with the needle when she give me my insulin shots. She give me lots of love, brushes me just the way I like and doesn't get mad at me when I shed!
My cat hobbies: Going outside in the morning to hang out by the bird feeders. I'm getting pretty old so I don't play too much anymore, sleeping is so much more fun these days.
Pet motto: You have to meet my approval before you can date my Momma!

How We Met
I was a rescue kitty, my litter mates and I were in a tiny cage at the shelter. I was the only calico kitty. This pretty lady walked in one day, I could see she was sad and I meowed at her. She told the people to open our cage and then she took me out. I licked her face and nuzzled her neck. I heard her tell the shelter people she wanted me, I was so happy! But couldn't understand why my new Mom was sad, then I heard her telling people that I was born on the very same day she had a really bad surgery. Apparently the Doctors lost her on the operating table for a few minutes. She said it was a 'sign' that we were meant to be together. I'm really glad they saved her cause she is the best Mom in the whole world. We have been through lots of stuff in 12 years but she is happy again. I like to think I had something to do with it!

Our book is available as an eBook for just $3.99 that you can download and read right on your computer screen in full color. Then it will always be stored in your computer library. The Kindle reader is a free download and really cool.
(Printing is expensive and usually you have to do a print run of many thousands of copies to make it a reasonable price, but we may be able to do it one day.)
