How We Met
I WAS IN THE BEDROOM CHANGING OUT OF MY WORK CLOTHES AND HEARD OUR DOGGIE IN THE KITCHEN WHINING. SO I WENT IN TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG AND THIS KITTEN WAS SITTING IN THE KITCHEN EATING THE CAT FOOD. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE IT CAME FROM OR HOW IT GOT IN. IT APPREARS HE HAS BEEN MISTREATED BY SOME KIDS AS HE HAD PINK MAGIC MARKER ALL ON HIS FACE AND GETS DEFENSIVE WHEN U TRY TO PLAY WITH HIM NEIGHBORS SAID HE HAD BEEN HANGIN AR0UND THEIR HOUSE FOR 2 DAYS BUT WOULD NOT FEED HIM AT ALL. HE WAS SO VERY HUNGRY SO I LET HIM EAT AND NOW HE IS HOME

Thank you for the birthday greetings. I had a good birthday on 15 May. There were no big celebrations as we were all tired out by our trip to Delhi, which was to finally move everything here. Mom gave me fish jelly, plenty of lap time, and let me open up the transported cartons, which I loved doing! And the messages and gifts from my furiends made me feel so special.

Hi Shaddie
Another scorcher today..we hit the mid 80's again. It was 90* yesterday and this is only May, can't imagine what July will be like.
They keep calling for rain, but it never comes, so mom keeps waterin' the flowers outside. We do not like the hose, so we come upstiars when she does that, she doesn't get us wet, but we are afraid the water will get us anyway.
Mom is all done painting her dresser and vanity in her room. She ordered a new white chest of drawers yesterday. Mom ordered a new headboard last month and it is white, so instead of replacing all the furniture in her bedroom, she painted it all white, but the chest of drawers is so damaged and the drawers are falling apart, so she ordered a new one.
Thanks also for my COTD win and my birthday wishes and gifts. I know this is late, but with 6 kitties, mom is usually behind with our blogs. I was pleasantly purr-prised by my COTD win, I was not expecting that at all. Thank you!!!

Thank you for pawing by with such sweet ♪ Happy Birthday ♫ wishes & goodies for us. What two extra-fun days we have enjoyed! We celebrated with Minnie Mouse cuppycakes (Mommy’s furiend who owns www.rosebakes.com made them for us). MerryBelle got a mew stainless steel Drinkwell Zen water fountain and Sissy got a red Petzip Luxury Stroller/carrier/car seat all in one. We also got a pink wand toy with a blinky ball on the end of it. You can see pics on the bottom of our pages. Of course, Casper Todd has already drooled & slobbered on our mew wand toy.
Thanks again for sharing our special days with us. Proverbs 27:9 says “A sweet friendship refreshes the soul.” So true!

Thank you for pouncing by to help me celebrate my 1st birthday yesterday Shaddy & fursibs! I had so much fun playing games, nibbling on the yummy goodies several of you brought along, blowing bubbles & popping balloons! I was so worn out that I slept in & would have missed breakfast if mom hadn't tickled my tummy to wake me up this morning...MOL! Thank you for making my birthday celebration more special by being here with me dear furiends & for the red robin roll-ups, bluebird cookies & beautiful singing of the birthday tune!

Recently a cat loving family had their red female cat, Angel Rhuby cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The cat mom of this family decided she would like to adopt another red female and as luck would have it, there was Rosie at the Petsmart Adoption Center. Rosie #252822 and her new mom bonded instantly and Rosie came to her new home that day. Rosie was at the shelter for over two months and was a bit wild. She didn't like being kept in a cage and would fight with the shelter workers when they tried to put her back in her cage. This was a big reason why Rosie #252822 wasn't adopted sooner; she was scared and the people looking at her were not patient with her until her new mom came along. Now at her new home Rosie #252822 is a cuddle cat with her daddy and loves to play with her brother Yogi. She gets along with the rest of her furry siblings and is a happy cat. Rosie #252822 will not eat dry food but she will eat any kind of wet food. She doesn't like dry treats either! Rosie loves to play with her furry mouse and the laser light. Rosie #252822 is happily spoiled now in her new home and we are very happy she has found a wonderful loving home. Rosie would be so honored to have a COTD badge to display on her page. I have just the thing! It’s Mike the Headless Chicken Day!
Yes, you heard me right! Let’s head off to Fruita, Colorado for the Mike the Headless Chicken Festival
This is absolutely for real! The story starts on September 10, 1945 when Fruita, Colorado, farmer Lloyd Olsen chose a chicken for his evening meal. Mr. Olsen cut off the bird’s head, but Mike just shook it off and continued trying to peck for food. He lived for 18 months and went on a national tour as “The Headless Wonder Chicken”. I know we can all relate to Mike’s example that you can live a normal life, even after you have lost your mind.
Can this event possibly be missed? There’s a 5k Run, Bike Poker Ride, Disc Golf Tournament, and eating contests, along with live music and food. janet broke up
haley jumping all over me this morning and attacking me for no reason as i was on my way into nat's bedroom and was jumped from behind 3-4 times. i swatted her ba good and she jumped me again! janet's sick with the sinus flu and doesn't have anymore sick time left from the store so will do like she's done before work through it. trouble is meds she's on are making her woozy and light headed, but she'll make it okay. she's walked pepper, did 2 large loads of wash and gotten them outback on the lines as well as having to plant things in the fenced in area of the garden and covering them up with netting. sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

This sweet kitty joined the angels in February 2013 after losing his battle with complications that developed after being hit by a car the month before. He’d survived having both legs broken & surgery, but was unable to walk & had to drag himself to the litterbox. He was very brave & stayed a very sweet boy during all of the pain, infections, examinations & becoming a foster; but the angels knew that his life would not be a full one with his disabilities & thus called him home. Please pounce by to paw ANGEL CRASH #248838 a vote today so that his foster mom will have a fond memory to cherish & so that this sweet angel can earn the honor of making his star the most brilliant in the night sky tomorrow night.
Congratulations to our newest royal cat QUEEN SPUNKY #161265!! Your campaign about the details of cat shows was stupendous & we learned a lot about how things work for the fabulous show cats. We’re looking forward to some California sunshine during May as you reign from your house on the beach & look forward to hearing more letters to God from beloved pets. How nice to hear from you! I'm glad your Mom had an easy day and was able to do some blogging for you. Glad you had a nice day, too! We had a day that wasn't bad. It was cloudy 99% of the day, but the 1% of the time, the sun came out. We had a forecase high of 75, but it must have been during that 1% that the sun came out and they updated the temp, which was 79! It never felt like that, though! There was such a brief time that it was shining, I couldn't even get comfortable in one of the sunbeams coming through the sunroom window! Oh, well. Now, we are expecting rain for the next 3 days! UGH!
I have known lots of kitties during my lifetime that like to chase their tails. Nothing wrong with that, so don't let anybody tell you there is. You probably hissed and growled at it, cuz maybe you bit it and it hurt? Well, whatever you did, you were obviously having fun and that's the main thing, right? Right!
Anyway, buddy thanks, again for coming by and visiting. We have missed you and your family. So, take care and I'm leaving you a vote. Have a great evening! We love ya!

WOW what a beautiful day it was 78° and sunny with a nice breeze mom even only had her t-shirt on crazy weather yesterday she had a coat and sweats on!!!
at lunch dad and mom were sitting there when her two grand daughters Dee and Alanna came in ...after dad left for work mom sat and talked with them ...
when mom came home we helped her fold some laundry..

The temperature was high 63 & low was 53 this morning, now it's 60 with humidity 69% & wind is 9 MPH WSW. Friday's suppose to be Showers & High 66.

♥ WOW!!!! What a MONTH of Adoptiversaries for our family, but luckily, That's All Folks!!!! Tehehehe!!!!
♥ I have been making sure I get lots of mom time everyday. I just love my mom so much!!!! I have been also sleeping by her feet the last week or so at bedtime which makes her real happy!!!!
♥ Mom went to PetSmart this morning to buy [2] 16 lb bags of Friskies Indoor; [3] 16 lb bags of Friskies Surfin Turfin; [1] 7 lb bag of Purina One Hairball; [1] 7 lb bag of Purina One Vibrant & Maturity & [1] 40 lb box of ExQuisiCat Litter. She got [2] FREE toys, too!!!!
♥ Well, mom is upset as my Feline Acne is coming back. She washes my face every morning after I eat my Fancy Feast can food and washes my food dishes alsmost every night before bed time.
♥ UPDATE: SASSEE 10605 seems to be doing better finally with not seemingly in so much pain like she had been due to her arthritis. Mom said the Dasuquin must be finally taking affect.
♥ UPDATE: SYLVESTER 11567 is no longer limping the last couple days. He will, however, will need to see Dr. Liz in a couple months for bloodwork to see how he is doing since his diagnosis of Early Kidney Failure in February.
♥ Mom and dad are set up for another yard sale starting Friday morning and ends on Saturday evening at 5:00pm so we may not get to visit everyone, but we will try!!!! Mom also changed my profile photo today.

What a nice day we had today. 80* and sunny and breezy, the wind was not as bad as yesterday, but mom hates it, she wants some calm days.
Mom had a panic attack cause she thought she lost her wallet, but she finally found it and calmed herself down...she grabbed Kelsee as she was closer to her and she cried her eyes out for almost an hour...poor mom.
Oh, I know lots of kitties that chase their own tails...Winston did it before, I saw him bite it and he meowed, then he chased it in circles and could never catch it. YOU are NOT weird, you are a very normal kitty!!!

I am with you, chasing tails is pawesome. I do that too sometimes. I always find things to get into on my own. When the boys hear me playing without them they get nosey. Armani & I always chase each other, just for fun MOL.

The saga of our outside kitties continues… My Mom lifted the top half of the cat carrier onto several old newspaper crates and set it beside the bottom half of the carrier. Whitey & Orangie were curious this morning when they saw it, but not afraid. They both sniffed around it and then went back to the business of eating. Mom plans to slowly slide the top half of the carrier onto the bottom half. This was a great idea from our dear furiend Mischief!
P.S. You know, the outside kitties didn't seem to react to our scent on the carrier. I think they were too busy wondering what the top half of the carrier was doing raised up on boxes. My Mom is going to let my sis and I check it out again today. I don't think I'll be able to sneak a quick spray, because Mom will be watching! MOL!

We had a lovely day today, so we went outside again. The breeze was blowing through my thick fur and cooling me off...I was rolling on the sidewalk, too...that is fun.
It is clouding up now, rain is coming later. But we are still playing outside and watching the birds. Mom has her birds outside on the back porch and you should hear them, they are chirping away with all the wild birds out there.
Tomorrow mom has to go to her moms Memorial Service, it will be a sad weekend for moms family as this will be their 1st MD without their mom, but we will make our mom feel loved anyway. We will not allow her to be sad.
My mom can paint, maybe she should get a painting job with your dad...MOL!!!

So many have asked so here is my story. It all started with me slowing down on my eating. Mom watched me for that week and by the next Sunday I would not eat at all. Mom was thinking that I had swallowed something that I shouldn't have. Mom called for an appt they did an X-ray. The vet thought he saw three objects inside of me and my colon and intenstines were very full and very distended and I was running a 103.6 temperature. So the X-ray was sent to a specialist to read. With the new digital X-rays they are able to see so much more than they used to be able to, so when we got the results there really was nothing inside except what was supposed to be.hehehe And a whole lot of something else, the Vet decided to help me get rid of it and I spent the whole day there being monitered. I was not feeling good and very flat after that. My temp stayed for a couple of days afterwards, but by Friday it was down and I was starting to feel better. By then I had spent two days at the vets and Mom wanted to give me break over the weekend. She was a nervous wreck not knowing what had caused all this in the first place so back I went last week for blood work. It all came back purrfect. So we had one of those kitty mysteries. They still have no idea what really happened but I am more back to myself now, although I am still not eating like I was before all this happened. Thank you so much for all your prayers and well wishes, we couldn't have made it through this with out you!!! Sorry to hear about your bad weather! In Rochester, NY we have had sun and 70's! I have been going outside to play everyday. I like to visit with the kids coming off the school bus and anyone who is walking around our neighborhood. I always plop down in front of them so they have to stop and pet me! My sister Frannie (who you look a lot like) also came outside occasionally, but she would hide from people. She liked to go on the roof and sunbathe! Hope your weather gets better soon so your dad can get back to work and you can blog more! Please paw by & meet this beautiful Champagne Point Tonkinese kitty. KAYLIN #251700 is not just a beautiful face she is also a CFA Champion & a Mom. She was hand picked for her new parents by her sister Wendy's breeder when she found out how sick Wendy was. But this sweet girl was already a mom so her new parents had to wait to bring her home. All of her kitties found their furever homes & then she had her Big Girl surgery. She was finally able to come to her new home in January. She wasn't sure if she wanted to stay at first, but her new parents gave her lots of love & support so we are happy to report she is settling in quite nicely. KAYLIN #215700 spends her days hanging out on Mom & Dads laps, playing with her toys, & napping in the sun. She also likes to tear through the apartment at top speed and has been known to do it in the middle of the night too. Her most favorite things to eat are the Roast Chicken, that she shares with her parents, and her Blue food.
