One day we (my husband and I) were looking at cats at the humane society. I was looking at a cat in another cage when Moe reached through the bars of his cage and tapped me on the arm. And that did it i know he was my kitty

Yes, we're still here & going strong...MOL! Teehee...I found a vote button that Zaboo hasn't already hit too! My housemate Zaboo is running for COTM this month which is why I'm excited to find one...MOL! Trixie & I have been having our daily romps without Zaboo because he's always on the computer. Guess what? We have new kittens outside! Three boys & a girl. The girl was named Spunky because she's full of energy & mom named the boys Adam,Hoss & Little Joe after her favorite western series. The names fit the colors of the horses that they rode so they seemed purrfect...MOL! Well better go so meowmy can get some chores done. Have a pawsome day!

This precious kitty with a big voice was found in a barn, and she was brought to the humane society. Her family fostered her after recovering from a very bad respiratory infection. It didn't take long for her foster family to figure out that this beautiful girl with a silky coat belonged in their home. Missy loves people, especially children. She is known to be friendly, unless you're a mouse. She's an excellent mouser, and she keeps her speed up by chasing her own tail. Sunday Purrs
Just wanted to pounce over with a quick meow on this sunny Sunday. Not too much going on around here. Dad is going to mow the lawn later & Patchy will probably help mom make some cookies. COTD VOTE NITRO 81157 on THURSDAY 7/24...
Nitro's mommy was looking for another kitty to bring into her home to love, and as a brother or sister for her little girl Tattoo. When Tattoo crossed the Rainbow Bridge his mommy was heart broken and couldn't bear having a home without a kitty. Nitro's mommy looked on the Denver Dumb Friends League's website and saw an adorable black and white kitten playing and full of energy on the 'Kitten Cam', so she went out there to see him. The friendly staff told Nitro's mommy he was born in a barn on March 16, 2008 and his birth mother was killed by tractor when he was only 3 weeks old. His birth mother's family took Nitro and his 2 siblings to the Dumb Friends League because they had no idea how to take care of such young kittens and wanted them to go to good, loving homes. At the time Nitro really had no name he responded to, and since his mommy likes Dodge vehicles and he's such a little ball of energy, she named him Nitro. Nitro came to his furever home May 17 where he's a loved, spoiled powerhouse who loves to play, sit in the sink, and grab anyone's ankles who just happens to be walking by (written by Nitro's mom). COTD VOTE ARTEMIS 68298 on THURSDAY 7/17...
Would you know what 'Tuna muryoo' mean if you heard it? Well, Artemis would. She is bi-lingual in English and Japanese! She could tell you that there was some free tuna near by! Pretty cool! Huh?
No one knew much about Artemis before she landed at the ASPCA. Her Mom and Dad came in to find their first fur baby. This beauty, manipulated her way into their hearts , so much in fact that they knew right away to make her one of the family! Both Artemis and Mom were a bit shy, but with time, they slowly but surely started building an unbreakable, loving bond. Now they have lots of fun together playing one of Artemis favorite games of Hide n Seek, although her rear end and wagging tail are most always in plain sight. Only laughter and happiness are heard at Artemis' house these days! Won't you cast your vote for this beautiful Goddess of Hunting for her to be CoTD on Friday July 18? It's been a while Moe
How are you, I missed you so much! Have you been enjoying the warm Summer weather? Mom still is amazed that you can go potty without using the litter box! I bet she's so proud of you!! B/C I know my mom would be!
Right now we have been practicing for the Olympics. We are so proud of ourselves – we are trying out for the sprint and hurdles. We mostly practice at night and we use mom for the hurdles. Eek sometimes we wake her up…
Anyway, Forgive me for some of the c&p part… We are sorry that it’s taken so long to respond to your blog -we’ve have more crisis’s. My momcat’s name is Laura . We want to give you an update on how our family is doing. Well, to be honest everyone knows that the past 3 months have been very rough and emotionally draining for my family. Unfortunately my aunt passed away. To make matters worse on Thursday we had another family emergency – My Gram was taken to the hospital, she’s (85 yrs old) she suffered a heart attack. My family believes it was/is all of the stress she’s endured. This would be the second child that she would have lost. Her first child that passed away was my Dad, her Son due to an auto accident.
I myself don’t have children but I can not imagine a parent that losing a child. All parents must think that it should have been them. I guess we all think this way. For my Gram I think it was the shock of my aunt’s diagnosis and here death all within 3 mos. Unfortunately on Saturday, she passed away. This is a very emotional time for entire my family – and I have to say that I am very very down. My Gram has always been there for me. Always! (Mr. Jinks tells everyone that momcat’s eyes are filling up)
I want to ask for special thoughts and prayers. I feel so bad because I feel that I’m taking away prayers for my fellow CC friends. Please Know That I think and Pray for All our Kitties….Sick/Missing or Healthy. I pray for all of our CC families for there health and well being and especially if they are grieving. I light a special candle for all of our families on CC. This candle is also lit for all of our missing, suffering from sickness & missing Furbabies. I love them all!!! I also wish I could take all of our CC families pain away. May God Bless you & It’s so nice to have a friend like you!
One more thing, with everything going on – My PC is fixed but I haven’t been able to pick it up. So I’m trying to vote and respond via my cell phone… I miss everyone.

To all the wonderful kitties on CC: Thank you so much for all the votes, COTD, prayers and best wishes. Sorry it’s taken so long to answer all of your blogs. As you know, Lucky has an aggressive form of cancer. Since it’s metastasized to his organs and lungs, chemo was not a good option. He’s on prednisone right now and it has increased his appetite. He’s lost a lot of weight and was only 6.7 lbs on 7/1. The best case scenario is that he’ll be here for another two to four months. Thank you again everyone! Purrs.
