Education: I am signed up as a blood donor at the emergency vet for any cats that need a blood transfusion.

My favorite tricks and treats are: I will do anything for food or praise. I will sit for you, come, touch your finger, give kisses, lay down, and go up on his hind legs and I love to steal my french fries from burger king. I've been caught opening up the bag and stealing the food.

Where I hang out: The highest spot in the room...or under the carpet...or in the sheets...or in the bathtub

My favorite grubs: Anything...I love stealing people food and my owner spends most of the morning trying to get waffles or french toast back.

My pet peeves: I hate giraffes. I drag my stuffed giraffes around the house and wrestle with them.

What I love about my owners: I love to lay across my owners lap - even though I haven't realized I'm not a kitten anymore. I also love playing and smacking people as they walk by me when I'm on the counter.

My cat hobbies: I love to steal things, whether it's my jewelry or a roll of quarters.

Pet motto: Every person and object is there just for my happiness.

How We Met

I wanted a male kitten that was easy going and could hold his own against my big lady cat. After 3 adoptions fell through I found Sam and couldn't resist him.

We gain an hour of sleep this weekend!! Dayllight savings comes to an end at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning. With the clocks turned back, it will be less dark in the morning but darkness will fall earlier in the evening. Arizona, Hawaii and Puerto Rico stay on standard time all year round.
The concept of daylight-saving time may have first been proposed by Benjamin Franklin in 1784 to the Parisians. The thought was that Americans would appreciate an extra hour of sunlight and conserve energy (candles and oil back then).
Transitions may disrupt chronobiologic rhythms and influence the duration and quality of sleep as the effect lasts for several days after the shift. People who suffer with sleep disorders seem to find the bi-annual transitions more difficult. The extra hour of sleep means a lost hour of afternoon sun, which increases reliance on electricity and decreases the potential for, vitamin D-giving outdoor activities. Nearly half of the world’s population has lower than optimal levels of vitamin D, often called the sunshine vitamin.
