What I love about my owners: She takes time to play with me and "talks" to me alot especially playing with the laser pointer! I can chase that forever and someday I may just catch it!

Rescued her from a shelter. She had been there for about 5 months. Was told she was abandoned when owners moved and left her behind :(

Meowy Christmas everyone that may stop by to visit with me and view my pics.
As I reflect on this past year, I feel very fortunate to be among you. I almost lost my life last February to a near fatal allergic reaction to my anti-seizure medication. But thanks to my excellent vet, Kara, a blood transfusion, and a week in ICU, she pulled me back! She also reached out to a specialist and found the purrfect medication for me that I now take twice a day for the rest of my life but oh what a grand life I live! I love to play, get into mischief and just lay around observing the wildlife from my windowsill.
May every cat be as content as I now am. Again, Meowy Christmas and Yappy New Year to all my feline and canine friends!!!

Tomorrow's magical & spectacular SUPER-MOON 5/5/12
This Saturday at 11:35 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, the moon will be at a distance of 221,802 miles away. At its peek time, this SUPER-moon will look 14 to 16 percent bigger, 30 percent brigher and be 17,053 miles closer to earth (average distance to moon 238,855 miles).

Soo happy to hear that you are better!
Short and sweet because we have alot of blogs to do and don't have much time. First off, I'm going to apologize for c/p for both of us. We haven't been on because mom is experiencing some real bad family issues and her father is all distressed so she's been spending alot of her time with him. Ontop of being overly tired because of lack of sleep from stress and still having to get up at 5am every morning for school. I'm sad to say for the next few weeks we will be on and off CC. Whenever we get the chance we will log on, and if we don't have too much time mom will either just post a blog on CMR or alternate between us 2 kitties. Tomorrow we will try to make it back online, but mom is going to work with her dad from 7:30-4 and also has alot of school work to do. I'm really really really sorry about all of this, we will be everday bloggers asap.

Update on Leesha
To anyone that may have previously read and prayed for Leesha...I thank you as all our prayers were answered.
Leesha almost didn't make it. The vets didn't give her much hope without a blood transfusion. After that, she struggled for a couple of days but then started to bounce back. After being in the intensive care unit for a full week, Leesha was able to come home again. It's been about 2 1/2 weeks since she came home and she seems nearly perfect again. She still continues to have her seizures and we are now waiting to see how often they appear and that will tell us whether she needs to go on a different seizure med or not. The vet really doesn't want to put her on anything due to the last med (phenobarbital)most likely being the cause for her illness and near death. They think she had a severe allergic reaction to it. We will know whether or not that was the cause if she continues on her path of full recovery.
Thank you again for anybody that may have kept Leesha in their prayers. I wasn't ready to let her go! She now has 8 lives left...and I'm hoping those lives continue for many, many more years.

PRAY FOR LEESHA
Please anyone reading this, please pray for Leesha. As I type this, Leesha is in the hospital on iv. She is being given excellent treatment trying to diagnose her ailment. She has many problems right now and they are telling me that they believe it could be a type of cancer. She is being kept comfortable on pain meds but I just want her well and back home. She's only 2 years old and the sweetest cat I've ever owned. I pray constantly for her and hope you will too. Thank you.

We love that your our new friend too!
