Thank you so much for voting me COTD and coming by to congratulate me.. We have to keep the party low key though, it is Ash Wednesday. But we are saving all my special treats for thursday. Mom had to work today but we celebrated without her. Tabitha did this amazing pirouette while her tail was chasing her. She always tries to be the life of a party!!! MOL!! We made our own confetti with newspaper and female stuff out of the bathroom cabinet. It was a wonderful time. MOM didn't even get mad. She just wanted to know if we had fun! We all meowed loud that we did!! Thank you all for all the great treats we ate a few but saving some for later too. I have enjoyed my day Thank you all!!! SCOOTER

The little hoomin is on the sofa sick with aches, sniffles, and sore throats today, so me, meowmy, and Elspeth is trying to make him better! I has to zip along now and help take his temperature. Hi there littlest Rockwall cousin!
The poo-ear remains a mystery, but meowmy had to clean up the little hoomin (who accidently petted him), Olaf, and then herself in that order. Stinky business that was! Here's the Mesquite mews: Meowmy spotted the calico kitten thrown outside by the bad neighbors, but she couldn't get near it as easy as she thought--it looked very skinny and very itchy (probably has fleas at the very least). Pawpy got a finger on it, but it was too scared and really fast. They put food out hoping it would come back around , but no further sightings as of yet. Meowmy is so upset about not getting it. Also, a new stray has been spotted frequenting the backyard--a little black cat who is very heavy with kittens. *sigh* They just keep coming. ~headbonks and a vote, Samhi

Hi To All Our Wonderful Friends!
Thank you more than we know how to say for all the kind words, and all the understanding and sympathy during the brief illness and Rainbow Bridge crossing of our kitty, Little Bit. All of us miss her, but Duke and Mom miss her the most. Duke stands by his food dish waiting for Little Bit to come join him for his meals. Mom said she will take Duke to the Vet if he doesn't perk up next week. Isn't it amazing how intelligent our kitties are? We believe they know a lot more than some scientists give them credit for knowing. We also believe that kitties are capable of love in the truest sense of the word. We read on the CC home page yesterday that some kitties will grieve themselves to death when they lose their beloved person. All of us on the CC who have these wonderful fur purrsons in our homes are so fortunate. No matter how difficult our complex lives may get, if we have a kitty to love, and love us in return, we are blessed. We thought since this is a holiday weekend, this would be a good time for us to tell you a story! Once upon a time, there was a lonely lady who was grieving because she had lost her her mother. This lady woke up one morning and knew what would make her heart feel better. A kitty! She went to her local Humane Shelter and started looking at all the kitties in the cages. She heard one particularly loud kitty who *demanded* her attention. The lady stopped, looked into the eyes of the caged kitty, and wham! It was love a first sight! This kitty actually sweet talked her new Mom into taking her home! When she arrived at her new home, she was so special that her Mom named her Princess. A lonely house had suddenly become a home. Princess explored her new home from top to bottom and decided her special place would be on the fireplace mantle where she could survey her kingdom. In time, she made many friends, joined the Mouse Hockey League where she became a valued player, and joined the Catpiagn & Mews Room Crew. Wow--did you get rained on today too? We was just sittin in the sun, mindin out own business, then all the sudden everything went dark and buckets of rain fell from the sky! We all got up in the windows to watch it. Meowmy says it is good for the plants, and it didn't last long--about 10 minutes. But it was very strange. Friend kitties: We have been sooooo out of touch. Our Mom's computer has been acting up and she hasn't been able to login for us on CC AT ALL for several days. We are VERY behind in our blogs and we have really missed everyone. I ran away for two whole days and the folks were very worried about me. Of course, I was fine -- just checking out the neighborhood. I admit I did get kinda scared when it got dark that first night but I snuck back in the yard and slept under the wood pile. Then I got up before everyone else and went over the fence and spent another whole day exploring! It was fun. But I got hungry so came home yesterday morning. I guess that's all the exploring I'll be allowed to do for awhile because now the folks won't let me outside. I'm off for a nap. Come visit soon! Noelle

There once was a mama kitty who had a litter of kittens outside in a shed. The mama's caretaker called a neighbor and asked did she want to come and see the kittens. The neighbor went to see the newborns, and oh, how beautiful and sweet they were! The caretaker told the lady she would have to wait until the kittens were old enough to leave their mama, and it was agreed the lady would take one at the proper time. When the kittens were 5 weeks old, tragedy struck! A raccoon got in the garage and killed the mama and all the kittens but one that had managed to hide under something. The neighbor was frantic and called the lady, telling her what had happned. The lady went to the neighbor's and picked up the tiny orphan Leviticus. She took him home and cared for him as lovingly as a mama cat. He thrived, and today he is the pride and joy of his Mom and Dad! Will you please go by page #43404 and see this amazing survivor! Dad put a rose on the kitchen counter floating in a dish. He later found it in the sink and petals all around. It couldnt have been the kits as they are not allowed on the kitchen counter.We had to turn the a/c on last nite and we enjoyed the cool air. We showed dad our appreciation by wallrunning and smashing into doors, rug scrunching and tipped over a water bowl. THE CAMERA COMES OUT -- THE KITTIES GO HIDE!
Mom has chased us all day trying to get some new pictures! She tried all kinds of tricks. She hid the camera behind her back. But when she pulled it out, we all scattered. She called us all back and gave us some treats but some of refused the treats and left the room when we discovered what she was trying to do. So she went over to Sweetie Pie's house and tried to get some pictures of them. She got one of Big Black & Sweetie Pie before they decided they had had enough of that game, and they ran out on their back porch. She slipped up on Angel who was asleep on a cushion, got off a couple of shots, then Angel ran for the back porch like Jack the Ripper was after her. She called them in for treats, but they looked at her like "What, are you crazy?" We all got a lot of treats today playing that camera game. We won, ha, ha! Simba and all the Blueberry Hill Gang

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
to everyone this March 17th! We hope everything is going great for everyone here on CC. We are so sorry that we have not been blogging for a few days. Mom has a couple of projects that she has to get finished so her time has become very limited. One involves compiling a lot of information from several different sources into an organized information packet. That means lots and lots of typing. Did you have a nice Sat?
We did. The men watched basketball games while Mom blogged. Then they went to their favorite small town pizza place for their usual Sat. night pizza. The owner knows them and always comes over to their table to welcome them back and thank them for their business. They will miss this place when they move. Mark, their son, played a "I'm going to get you" game with Fuzz. To All of Our Friends at CC . . .
We all love you guys so much. Thank you for all of the Hugs, Kitty Kisses, Purrs and Prayers. They are so appreciated!!!! It's nice to be able to share with someone who understands. They shaved the hair under my arms--eeewwwww! But everything is fine for right now. One side of the heart is a little thick (3-6 is normal, mine was 8) I don't have to start taking pills-Yeah!! Other than my 3 month checkups with my regular Vet, I don't have to have another Ultrasound for at least a year--as long as nothing goes wrong in between. It relieved Mom's worries a lot to know for sure that everything is fine; she was more upset than I was by the whole thing. We all appreciate each and everyone of you for your concern and support. Hugs, Purrs, Kitty Kisses and most of all prayers for you all. There are a lot of sick kitty kats on CC with families who really need our support now. O'reo Tru'De, Ashton & Kirby Vote #228

GOOD EVENING
What's Purrin'!!!! We R MEOWIN'! IT HAS BEEN A BEAUTIFUL DAY AGAIN THE WINDOWS WERE OPEN. Poor Grams, while she was here Tabitha did her evil tail bit.......with a little extra. She ran all over the house stopping looking behind her growling, hissing acting totally insane!! she did a few flips & somersaults catching her tail letting it go and acted like one of us did it and hissed at whichever one of us was standing close by. We just walked off like we did not know where she came from~!! I ( Mr. Kitty) stood guard of Grams. I sat in between her feet growling if any other kitty tried to approach. Made sure I rubbed all over her to let them know she is my grams. I am the first grandkitty. numero uno!! I let Tabitha by her for awhile then with the above action I could not let it happen again. All is back to normal now Grams made it home so Mom can relax. Anymeow. Hope you are have a puuurrrrffffect day!
