Thank you so much for voting me COTD and coming by to congratulate me.. We have to keep the party low key though, it is Ash Wednesday. But we are saving all my special treats for thursday. Mom had to work today but we celebrated without her. Tabitha did this amazing pirouette while her tail was chasing her. She always tries to be the life of a party!!! MOL!! We made our own confetti with newspaper and female stuff out of the bathroom cabinet. It was a wonderful time. MOM didn't even get mad. She just wanted to know if we had fun! We all meowed loud that we did!! Thank you all for all the great treats we ate a few but saving some for later too. I have enjoyed my day Thank you all!!! SCOOTER

Bikes in the driveway, radio loud, people in and out of the house and Fred brought his stinky dog over, well we play with her, she is cool for a dog.Missy escaped again and spent an hour in the driveway rolling over an over. How are you? Gustav really hit us hard. We are all ok but things are still horrible here. Lots of trees, limbs, debris everywhere! You can’t even see the grass for all the ‘stuff’. We had some of the vinyl siding off the eave of our garage blow off, our kitty mailbox is down, but mostly just the debris everywhere. I was pretty amazed that my babies weren’t more scared than they were. Casper was pretty frightened but he stuck close to Nana. I was actually more scared this time than during Hurricane Katrina. The winds were HUGE and lots of rain. We are still getting pounded today. We are under a tornado watch and it’s raining very hard now & dark outside like nighttime. So far we still have power! Thank you Lord & thanks to everyone for their prayers & for caring about us. Love, Merrybelle, Sissy, Casper & Mommy Angela

With the threat of 2 tropical storms,Gustav to the gulf states and Hanna maybe heading toward Florida. There are many communities still flooded with 3 or more feet of water. We all pray for the safety of everyone and ask the God of Hurricanes to steer them away.The sunshine gang is presently recovering from massive doses of dads homegrown NIP. Kitchen sink clogged with hair, Poopie on the floor, two litterbox blizzards. Dad has been out all weekend going to cookouts and biker things. We fixed the house up nicely after he told everyone we were good.1 roll of TP clawed and chewed,moved chair to new location, best one, Hairball under the bed, dad found it and had to move the bed. We strive for insanity. Purrs from the Stainless Steel Sink Sitters, and counter dwellers too. PS .. Zippi aproves this message.

Well, the vaccine shot that dad and mom gave Pappoose must have taken affect as all day on Tuesday she did nothing but sleep. She never got up to eat, drink or go potty til mom went and gave her livings' to wake her up. Then mom gave her some kibbles on the couch then she got down and went potty. She got on the rattan bed of ours and went back to sleep. ~ Monday night late, she heard one of the kitties outside meow like a fight so mom checked it out to see Samantha #15442 out of bed and a raccoon leaving off the table on the patio which is where Samantha's bed is. Mom checked Samantha out to be sure she was ok and she was, just scared. ~ Ebbonny is doing purr*fectly wonderful and back to himself. ~ Please remember to vote every day this month for RHOAMIN KNIGHT #2921; Hey, that's ME!!! That's my name!!! Is someone using my identity to get COTM??? Yes and it's none other than ME!!! DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU LOOK ALMOST LIKE MY GIRLFRIENDS' BROTHER, CASPER #6451?? Come see the new painting that mom just received in the mail Friday morning on my page. It is so beautiful!!!! The picture doesn't do it justice but at least you can see it now. Mom will try to take a better picture of it later. This one is of Velvet, Me (Rhoamin), Bahneetah, Charr and Pappoose. Brianna's #19038 momma did this painting as well. We give her four paws up!!!! OMG!!!! Bahneetah went for a ride in mom's SUV on Friday cuz she wouldn't quit meowing!!! Mom had already let her go outside on the grass Friday morning but that wasn't enough this time so she went for a ride with no carrier and no leash on her. Guess she misses her rides cuz her, Charr and Ebbonny used to go all the time before we all came along. They got to go on weekend trips with mom and dad and stay in the pickup camper. They loved going. Bahneetah was a little nervous at first but then laid in the front seat by mom like she used to before. Bahneetah told us all about it and we heard mom telling dad, too. We even got to go in the cattery again and when it was time to come in, who do you think got shut out again??? Yep!!! Mom did it to me again only longer! I WON!!! I didn't give in this time cuz I still didn't want to come in but she grabbed me and made me come in anyways!!!! Knight Gang leaving you this stubborn vote. Tehehehe!!!! We had a beautiful day on Friday with the temperature at 64 and we even got to plat in the cattery. We sure like it out there and we can go out and come back in when we want by ourselves when mom has the bedroom window opened. Saturday is suppose to get up to 70 for the high. That means more cattery time and mom said she's working in the front yard with edging, mowing the grass and weeding out the flower beds. Charr was feeling so good Friday morning after mom gave her a 2.5 MG of Fluoxitine that she was racing through the house tearing across the throw rugs. Mom and dad had to laugh at her. Mom had talked to the Dr. Beth about Charr and suggested trying her on half of Rhoamin's medicine as she has licked the fur off both of her sides and we're talking almost all on both sides. Dr. Beth and mom too, figured it's from a nervous thing. Charr's fur looks like it's growing back in some now. Knight Gang is leaving you a vote and hopes you have a purr*fect weekend. PLEASE VOTE ON TUESDAY FOR SPUNKIE #11712
Spunkie was a beautiful Tuxedo kitten who was taken to PetsMart for Adoption Day. All day, Moms, Dads, and children walked by and some picked out a kitty but Spunkie was not chosen. At the end of the day, he was returned to his foster home. The next Adoption Day, Spunkie was back at Petsmart, where all the people just walked right on by him. He tried reaching for them, talking to them, and standing up on his cage. But no one chose Spunkie and he was carried back to the foster home. This day was repeated several times, and Spunkie kept getting passsed over. Just when he was beginning to think no one would ever pick him to be their very own, one of the PetsMart volunteers picked him up and held him close. She told him he had stolen her heart! She took Spunkie #11712 home with her and now he has a loving furrever loving home with his fur friends Hopsing and Munchie! Won't you please stop by and give Spunkie #11712 a vote so he can wear a bright shiny badge! Also, Fidel #14733 appreciates every vote, every day, for his COTM badge! Thanks kitties! Simone says you like little rubber balls and that you tear them apart. I do, too. The first two years I lived with my mom, one rubber ball disappeared every month. Mom figured if she ever moved they would turn up, but she had new carpet put down and all the furniture was moved and not one of the balls was found. Hope all is well there. We are having a cool, sunshiney day. It rained again last night, but thank goodness no storms. I have a hairball. I have been eating some grass & barfing a little so hopefully I will pass it soon. Just a quickie, dad is on the run again. Zippi was sick last night and very quiet. Dad was going to take her to the vet today, she slept with him last nite,(unusual). Unfortunately we are like you & we get teased with warm days here & there. We had close to 6" of rain yesterday & woke up to some snow flurries this morning. Since we are in the mountains spring is hit & miss until May & we even sometimes can get frost or snow then. We sure enjoy our nice days when we get them. Purrs & hugs. Gremy
