Nicknames: Blackie was my original name. My name "Cheesy" actually was first a nickname but it stuck. So technically my full-vet name is Blackie. I have many nicknames: Cheese Brain, King CHEEZ, Cheeeeeees-y, Cheese Head and Sir Purr Purr Knight Of The Realm. Auntie calls me Cheese Ball.
My newest embarrassing nickname is Cheesy Cheesy Eggs N Beezy

Education: As for Spectacular stunts? If Sleeping for an extended period of time and eating a ton of canned food counts, then I'm a champion!
My favorite tricks and treats are: Trick Or Treat? I pick treat! and Anything that is at least sort of edible.
Where I hang out: In the reptile room hoping to grab a quick snakey snack.
My favorite grubs: I was switched to an exclusively raw, canned and orijen cat food diet on 3/6/13. I love raw venison the most and I like to try new canned foods. I don't have in favorites at the moment I pretty much each everything.
My pet peeves: When everything ISN'T about me.
What I love about my owners: Mom says I'm such a character. I am all sweet and cuddly one minute, then attacking her the next. She says I have the most personality of all the cats in the house by far.
My cat hobbies: Eat. Sleep. Eat. Go outside.

My one year CC anniversary was on 11/21/12
I have a lovely wife named Orzo who I affectionately refer to as "My sweet Orze kitty" or sweet thang.
My best friend in the whole world is Malachi, but I have other great friends too like Manchester, Lily, and Steve (tons more!).
I won COTD on March third of 2012. Someday I hope to run for COTM.

How We Met
TOLD FROM THE OWNERS PROSPECTIVE:
A pregnant stray cat came to the door of mom's house. Grandma noticed it was pregnant so she set up a basket for her to lay in. So the mommy cat (who looked a bit like me) had a litter of kittens. When the kittens were old enough to be adopted I took first pick. I took the unique cat- the tuxedo with tons of personality. We have loved eachother ever since.

Please vote Rosie #252822 for COTD on Monday, 5/20
Recently a cat loving family had their red female cat, Angel Rhuby cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The cat mom of this family decided she would like to adopt another red female and as luck would have it, there was Rosie at the Petsmart Adoption Center. Rosie #252822 and her new mom bonded instantly and Rosie came to her new home that day. Rosie was at the shelter for over two months and was a bit wild. She didn't like being kept in a cage and would fight with the shelter workers when they tried to put her back in her cage. This was a big reason why Rosie #252822 wasn't adopted sooner; she was scared and the people looking at her were not patient with her until her new mom came along. Now at her new home Rosie #252822 is a cuddle cat with her daddy and loves to play with her brother Yogi. She gets along with the rest of her furry siblings and is a happy cat. Rosie #252822 will not eat dry food but she will eat any kind of wet food. She doesn't like dry treats either! Rosie loves to play with her furry mouse and the laser light. Rosie #252822 is happily spoiled now in her new home and we are very happy she has found a wonderful loving home. Rosie would be so honored to have a COTD badge to display on her page. This sweet kitty joined the angels in February 2013 after losing his battle with complications that developed after being hit by a car the month before. He’d survived having both legs broken & surgery, but was unable to walk & had to drag himself to the litterbox. He was very brave & stayed a very sweet boy during all of the pain, infections, examinations & becoming a foster; but the angels knew that his life would not be a full one with his disabilities & thus called him home. Please pounce by to paw ANGEL CRASH #248838 a vote today so that his foster mom will have a fond memory to cherish & so that this sweet angel can earn the honor of making his star the most brilliant in the night sky tomorrow night.

Please paw by & meet this beautiful Champagne Point Tonkinese kitty. KAYLIN #251700 is not just a beautiful face she is also a CFA Champion & a Mom. She was hand picked for her new parents by her sister Wendy's breeder when she found out how sick Wendy was. But this sweet girl was already a mom so her new parents had to wait to bring her home. All of her kitties found their furever homes & then she had her Big Girl surgery. She was finally able to come to her new home in January. She wasn't sure if she wanted to stay at first, but her new parents gave her lots of love & support so we are happy to report she is settling in quite nicely. KAYLIN #215700 spends her days hanging out on Mom & Dads laps, playing with her toys, & napping in the sun. She also likes to tear through the apartment at top speed and has been known to do it in the middle of the night too. Her most favorite things to eat are the Roast Chicken, that she shares with her parents, and her Blue food. It's quite fine that your mom has been busy; we understand that homework is a bit more important than catblogs. Happy belated birthday to your mom--my mom had a birthday in April as well. Thank you so much fur the freshly caught field mice. You know that those are my favorite! That Tom surely has some nerve messing with your and your fursibs. I'll bring Felix to your house if you need someone to set him straight. This week’s special recognition candidates were found on the side of a road near a wooded area when they were barely old enough to fend for themselves. Their guardian angel was working hard that day & led their new mom to the right spot where she picked up the three mewing furballs & took them home. These precious sibs have stolen the hearts of many CC members by mom’s picture postings on FB & it’s pawsome being able to watch them grow up here in our loving community. Colt and Winchester love to talk to calm Kimber down because she’s very shy, unlike her more outgoing sibs. They love to play with their mouse toys & frequently pick on their bigger sibs throughout the day to see how much they can get away with. You can often find this rambunctious trio of young felines looking out of the window talking to birds, or playing with their light up ball. They’re snugglers too! They’re often found in the lap of mom or grandpa or you can see them snuggling happily together in their kitty bed. The inseparable trio of COLT,WINCHESTER & KIMBER#251320, are also keeping the house hopping with their energy level so let’s help them bounce off the walls a little more by pouncing by to paw them a COTD vote today, Monday April 29th, so they can earn their very first badge of honor tomorrow!

Patter (249085) is a beautiful 6 year old tabby, who enjoys her outside time, ( She is quite the hunter) and loves playing with the catnip toys that her mom gets for her. Her boyfriend, Hedley tells us that she has a great sense of humor and is lots of fun.

The temperature was high 64 & low was 46 this morning, now it's 63 with humidity 54% & wind is 3 MPH W. Monday's suppose to be Sunny☼ & High 67.

♥ Mom woke up early this morning with a very tired and sore body. Her and dad basically took it easy other than mom taking care of us and also gathering the garbage and yard debris then taking the containers to the curb for morning pick up!!!!
♥ Mom and dad will be back to their busy days again starting Monday. Mom says we will be getting lots of cattery time this week since we are suppose to have Summerlike weather all week!!!!

♥ K. FIDEL 14733; TONANTZIN 14732 & CHE 14734 as their sweet momma SARA CAZARES went to her Forever Sleep yesterday (4/20/2013) morning from complications follwing a stroke she had last year. Sara was a very active momma with her husband, 2 sons, 3 fur kits & 1 doggie as well with the schools and politics. She was still a young woman at age 48. She also used to be very active on CC. Many of us old CC timers were close to Sara and her kitties.
We are so sad to learn of her Forever Sleep and she will be deeply missed!!!!
Please keep this family in your prayers.

These precious kitties are so thankful to have a loving family after they were abandoned when their previous owners moved away. Their new family, who are long time loyal members of CC, realized that Fang & Drooler faced an uncertain future because of their advanced age and medical conditions; so they decided to take them in and try to find them another home. Fang & Drooler #236550 have now taken their place among the other rescues in the family! They love to hang out with mom, enjoy spending time in their beds or on the couch, & enjoy playtime outside! They both meow their displeasure with car rides, strangers, vacuums, & trash trucks; Fang, in particular, has an aversion to feathers, preferring to play only with a shoelace! These sweet kitties are also dealing with an Auto Immune disorder: Drooler has had 7 teeth removed as a result; Fang suffers from mouth and paw ulcers, and is not too happy that he has to take medications for the ulcers, insulin to treat Diabetes, stress, & will start meds for Hyperthyroidism. Along with Luvbug, Lil Jag, Buster, Smudge, & Angels Kuce, Sphinx, & Dancing Bear, Fang & Drooler #236550 have been given a chance to live with this wonderful family, who are well known to everyone for the love and compassion they have for homeless and abandoned cats! Fang & Drooler #236550 crave love and attention & will be overjoyed to have furiends come by and visit! We hope you will leave a vote so they can have the honor of winning their very own COTD award!

I love the circus and I'm ready to go again whenever I get the chance. Mom still feeds EVO as none of that recalled stuff is in the store anymore. Our doc still highly recommends that company in spite of the recall. There are a lot of kitty food brands out there so it can be difficult choosing. Mom feeds us the premium stuff as she feels confident that you get what you pay for. Hope you and your family have a meowellous Easter.

Neelix is a very handsome seven year old tabby who was rescued along with his brother when he was a tiny kitten abandoned in a parking lot. Since that tiny kitten was adopted by his loving pawrents he has trained them to be excellent staff for himself and his brothers. Regarding his brothers, Hedley and Jakar, the three of them comprise the famous (or perhaps infamous) “pawty animals”. These boys are always the life of any party, they create lots of fun at every MHL Mouse Hockey Game, and they are always the first to lend a paw on any project that benefits the CC community. They’re always there to offer comfort to the sad, good thoughts and healing wishes to the sick and congratulations to those who are celebrating. Neelix and his family always support the COTD and COTM candidates. They are a credit to the CC community!
Neelix is an outstanding member of our CC family, and since both of his brothers already have their very own COTD badges, it seems that it is time for Neelix to have one of his own. Won’t you please drop by and give this handsome guy a vote, on Monday so he can have the badge he so much deserves.

Happy belated St Catty's Day to you also. I love it when you take me places and YES, of course I'd be delighted to join you for an afternoon at the circus. Your mom sounds like a busy bee; will the circus be her new career...MOL? I'm still eating the same ole...well, my EVO food had a recall so mom pulled that. Then she received a link to a problem with the Blue Buffalo food that she's also feeding. She's not sure what to make of that. Bad to have these issues with high $$$ food; mom is not a happy camper. We are please to introduce this week's Special Recognition Candidate, Percy #245206. Percy came to be at her forever home due to the kindness of a neighbor. The neighbor took in Percy's mom cat and once her litter was born, the human daughters at her forever home fell in love with her. Percy #245206 stood out because of her wonderful personality. Percy is a prima donna kitty until it is playtime; then watch out! Percy #245206 loves to play with her sibling, Simba, and she enjoys ambushing him. They have a grand time together playing with their toys and each other. Percy is also a talker. She loves to have a conversation and even comes when her name is called. That is smart since a treat may be involved if your name is being called, and Percy #245206 enjoys Temptation treats. She gets a little upset, though, if she is expecting a treat and she is ignored. Percy #245206 can use her paws like furry hands and manages to open things. Percy likes to sit on the back of the recliner and watch her family as she relaxes and observes what is going on. ANGEL TIGGER #82433 has been a member of our community for 4 years & 9 months but has no beautiful badge to call her own yet so we’d like to change that with help from all of our CC furiends. Tigger & two brothers were born when her mom wandered to a house looking for food & love when she was pregnant. Her brothers were adopted by a neighbor but TIGGER #82433 lived a happy life in the forever home her mom had chosen. She got along well with most of her other feline housemates for 15 years until her crossing on July 6, 2011 but we know that the family is still missing her loving purrs. I see several new pictures there. You look so very handsome in your tuxedo! Mom would feed all of us the raw diet if it wasn't an issue with room in the freezer. 10 lbs of chicken takes up a lot of space when it's divided into small containers. Does your mom grind the chicken herself? Does she add the bones? I'm excited for Malachi and Ana, I feel sure that it's gonna be a purfect celebration
