How We Met
Patch was a stray living under a brush pile on our farm. it took me a year to tame him. He would come on our deck at night and watch me through the french doors. In the winter of 2007 I put a heating pad in a chair on the deck and he would come at night and sleep. I finally got him to come inside the spring of 2008. He has been sleeping on my bed for the past 4 years. Words can not express the love our family has for this cat. He lost half an ear to cancer this past summer. He is one remarkable cat!

Sweet Patch and Rowdy and family,
Although mom tried her hardest to get on the computer last weekend to do our Xmas blogs, things kept interfering (good things, though). So, this is kind of a combination hope you had a wonderful Xmas and wishing you a wonderful New year! Mom ended the year with a bang - literally. While rushing with Aunt Linda to view a Xmas parade Thanksgiving weekend, Mom tripped on a curb and fell, hard!, on her left knee. Luckily, she didn't break anything, just had a lot of pain. But, with rehab exercises for the knee and patience, her knee is just about totally recovered, the pain is gone, and she has full range of motion again.
It is Aunt Linda's birthday this Monday, 01/02/2012, so, per usual, Mom is taking her out to celebrate - movies and eating out - this weekend. They also will be scouting the shops tomorrow for any left over Xmas deals (last chance!).
We had a wonderful Xmas - our doggie Shelby got a stocking full of toys, and we got a big, big gift bag full of toys, and mom and Aunt Linda went around to all of us and made sure we all got our own toy. They also bought us a few toys which mom still has to put together for us - but she's working on it. We sang Xmas Carols together and gave each other Xmas hugs and kisses.

Glad to hear from other supreme kitties who have such a "boring" life as we do. HA HA.Really, we are extremely happy and lucky to be here. I think sometimes the outside looks real nice, so then mom takes me for a walk with this wonderful and safe harness. Mom tells me that Krazy Farm in Texas makes them, really nicely, and the woman who runs the farm, is very very nice and kind.Worthwhile supporting them. Mom just ran into them she thinks on a Pawesome email.That is another interesting daily email-to do with cats, dogs and other animals. Have a great day!!!!

Hope your weather is better today! We (Tony, Ginger and me) are looking outside and it looks nasty cold!Ugghh.
Mom goes to work every morning and then I go to my castle to sleep all day. Dad finds me there when he comes home from work. Well, there just isn't enough to do here during the day. Got any ideas?

Thanks so much for asking how I am. My Mom is so busy she hasn't had time to visit anyone!So, now that she finally let me doodle on the keys, I am so happy. I hope you are. You should be! Your weather doesn't stink like ours does!
And the furry felines outside must be freezing their butts off, even though they do have a heated cat condo close to the house.I feel so sorry for them. When mom opens the door to feed them or give them treats I back up it's so cold!!yes, Mom tried to bring my wonderful birth mother to come in, she is 7 after all! But she wouldn't! I am not so sure there would be extra room, ha ha ha.Wink, wink.No, she is lovable and purrs and lets mom pet her and hug her but she won't come in!!
Oh yea, my mom keeps walking around the house muttering something about Hawaii. Wonder where that is? And why is it so much nicer than my warm house? Oh well, looks like mom wants to use this machine to do research.Ugh!Thanks for voting for me, I will do the same! Thank-you soooo much for my ACOTD award! I am smiling down on all of you and purring to my heart's content. I'm a rather shy guy that is not use to a lot of attention, but boy this sure made me happy! I see my family and fur siblings smiling and saying such nice thing about me and how much they miss me. It all means so much. I am enjoying all the thoughts and goodies you have sent my way. I'm sharing them with all of the other Angels here. They tell me that the night sky will shine brighter tonight. I hope my family looks up into it and sees that it is indeed brighter! Look to the moon too, because that is where the cheese is and that's a place where you can often find me!

Guess I taught mischevious sister Zoe Monique who is boss!!!
The black furrball stold the keys to my Harley again and was galavanting all around CC yesterday on our 5th birthday. Karma has a way of coming back to good katz and look who is in the COTD window today!!!I am happy and appreciate all the birthday wishes, gifts, & yummy treats. In fact we have so many goodies left over , with more arriving every minute so I, am sharing some with you.
