My pet peeves: I don't like being separated from mom and dad. and I use all my vocal powers to tell them so. And I absolutely hate being in the carrier.

I also like to groom my little sister, Ewok. Even if she never grooms me back. Maybe she's just shy about kitty interaction.

How We Met
My original owner was forced to surrender me when he had to downsize and move into an apartment that would not let him keep me. He took me to MCAS, where he met my foster mom. She took me straight out of the shelter the moment I was registered in, so I am fortunate to not have stayed there. My foster mom took me to Petsmart where she talked to my new parents.
You see, my foster mom had given Markus to my parents a few months ago. When he died after being only with them 3 months, both they and my foster mom were devastated. She offered to pay all my adoption fees for them if they would take me home. Dad looked at me a long while, then took me in his arms, and began to cry. Mom says that something about me reminded him immensely of the day he met Markus. Dad knew I was meant to be his.

PLS VOTE ANGEL BOOTSIE #83222 COTD SUN 5/27!
On May 24th we remembered Bootsie’s 4th anniversary of crossing the Rainbow Bridge. It was hoped that the shout-out done for her would result in Angel Bootsie’s sweet face appearing in the COTD winner’s frame the next day, but that did not happen. We know it would have meant so much to Mom Lynn, who still misses her Bootsie very much. As most of you know, Mom Lynn has been recovering from a second hip surgery, and the love of her kitties and the support of CC friends has been instrumental in her recovery. We could not let this weekend of remembrance go by without thinking of the Angels who have blessed our lives—some for a long time, like Bootsie, and some for a short period of time, like little Ayashe who was with us for only a few days. Hi Simon,
Charlie here,of the Peach State[Enclosure]cats blogging today. It is a beautiful,sunny and breezy day here,and a little on the warm side. All us kitties were just lying around napping in the heat,when MOM decided to come out in our enclosure to paint! Yeah,SPRAY paint,no less! Man,she ran us all underground with the fumes,and ruined our peaceful napping! All I can say,is there is a lot of red out here,with touches of fluorescent orange! I think the heat got to her...but at least it's not pink,right? Leaving you a paint fumed vote~Hugs,Charlie ^.\/.^

The doorbell just rang and this very nice man gave Mommy a bag full of Chinese food. Fuzz is circling the bag and getting ready to pounce. "This could be exciting - so stay alert," Fuzz says with his famous Cheshire grin. My nose is twitching and smells chicken, shrimp, and something else I can't decipher. Whoops, my tail just knocked the bag off the counter. Fuzz has his nose inside the bag and Laci is circling him---- --- oh dear here comes Mom -- Gotta Run>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

~NICE Crew's Monday catch up meows~
Our angels met your angel sib so thought I'd pounce by to meow hello & deliver our family blog to you.
This is Patches reporting for the NICE crew. We’ve got a sunshine filled but cool day here at NICE H.Q. Our family had a busy Easter weekend starting with a visit to big sis’ new house on Caturday. It’s a 1 ½ hour trip one way but mom said she took the scenic route so she could avoid major traffic on the interstate. The house is very nice & in a very nice suburban area with a large horse farm across the highway. She has a very nicely decorated back yard with fencing all around so that her 2 dogs can run freely so they’re happy about the new arrangement…MOL! She has 1 cat that lives outside with them & she’s quite content to lie on the deck most of the day. Her other inside kitties are VERY happy because they’ve now got windows looking out in every direction. One of her baby kitties crossed shortly after the move but the other 3 are doing fine & growing fat & sassy. This may be the last time mom & dad get to see big sis before she heads to CA on the 15th so they stayed late…which meant we got fed late. We weren’t too upset about it but Sammie pup was…MOL! She’s used to having someone play with her during the day & being fed at a certain time so she was bouncier than normal when she came in that night. We dived into the bedroom & waited until she went into her kennel to go to bed before we came back out to avoid a puppy trampling…MOL!
Yesterday was a family day filled with playing games & watching Easter themed movies, plus relaxing a bit while they waited to hear about dad’s sister-in-law who was admitted to the hospital with chest pain on Friday night. She had a heart attack before so they’re running tests & observing her until at least today. We should hear more about her later & are praying she won’t require a lengthy stay. GP(dad’s dad) is doing much better after his recent hospital visit but is getting grumpy about not being able to do anything. Mom says that’s a good sign & told him to enjoy his time off from daily chores & follow doctor’s orders…or else…MOL!
Mom is waiting to hear from the repair shop about how her Jeep is coming along. She’s hoping things are on schedule for her to get it back Thursday or Friday so we’re keeping our paws crossed for that to happen too! We’re all doing fine, although I’m a bit peeved that Joseph has been spending so much time inside with us lately. I can tolerate the short playtime visits he has every day with Trixie but when he falls asleep in MY SPOT on the cat tree I have to put my paw down!! If he’s going to nap then he’s going to have to find another spot before my paws do their own thinking & whack him a good one on the ears…MOL! Well I’d better get pouncing so the dog can do her daily voting on DC too. Have a pawsome day dear furiends & I’ll meow back again soon.

PLS VOTE FELICITY #92039 COTD SAT 4/7!
We wanted to do a special Easter campaign for a deserving kitty, as this is such a special holiday to so many of us, including our candidate. Felicity has been part of our CC family for nearly four years and has been a supportive and caring kitty to anyone who needs a bit of comfort or an extra purr! Felicity has been very helpful to us on our Birthday Central page, and even thought she is a retired reporter, she still continues to let us know when someone is having a birthday or adoptiversary. As many of you know, Felicity and her pawrents lost their dear Angel Baby last November, but at this time of year, more than any other, we know that our loved ones are never truly gone, but have only moved on to another destination in the journey. We, too, will all make that journey one day to be reunited with those who have gone before us.

Hi Simon
How was your weekend? We had a pawsome time! Friday Mommy & Nana had their 6 month cleaning & checkups with the dentist. Glad it was them and not me! Then Saturday I “helped” wrap Christmas presents. What fun that was! Also, Saturday we received our 2011 Fancy Feast Christmas ornament in the mail.
Plus, I got a fishing pole toy with Santa on the end of it. (pic on bottom of my page). So Santa is at my house right now! Wanna come play with him? Be sure to bring your list for him!

Hello & WELCOME to CC! It’s very nice meeting you & we hope you’ll enjoy your time here & will make lots of new furfuriends along the way. If you go to the home page you’ll find all kinds of fun things to do as well as loads of information by hitting the various links or tabs on the page. The University gives you the opportunity to test your feline knowledge & earn a badge for each session that you complete plus there are games & contests under other tabs too.
Do you know how to navigate easily to the pages you want or see mentioned in blogs? Look at the address bar(URL) in your browser. The numbers on the end are your page number. Each page has a different number so all you need to do is erase your 6 digit number, type in the page you want to visit, and then press enter. Wahlah…you should be on the page that you typed in. This makes it much easier to vote for other cats that are running for specific badges throughout the month & will also let you connect with other kitties that are visiting that cat. Another way is by using links. The links are always in blue so to answer someone that blogged to you (or you’ve found an interesting sounding cat you’d like to visit), all you need to do is click on their link to take you to their page. I know it sounds slightly confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll have loads of fun interacting with others in the community.
The CC community is comprised of thousands of pages. Here are some special pages that are frequented by our feline friends:

It’s always great if you can go by & congratulate the daily COTD (cat of the day) winners & vote for the COTM (cat of the month) nominee that’s currently running. This lets everyone know there’s a new cat in “town” & also let’s you get to know some of the others that romp through each day. CC is a fun place & we hope you enjoy your time here with us.
