This precious little kitten has a real life-saving story to tell! If it wasn’t for his adoptive pawrents, Pumpkin might not be here with us today. One night, Pumpkin’s new Momma heard meowy cries for help from outside. She called Dad and they both went out to find this scared little kitty stuck in a storm drain. With rain in the forecast, they were concerned that the kitty might drown, and realized that they had to try and rescue him. So Dad jumped in, and after some time and a lot of effort, was able to rescue little Pumpkin! He has adjusted well to the other family pets, and has definitely won over Mom and Dad’s hearts! WELCOME to CC! It’s very nice meeting you & we hope you’ll enjoy your time here & will make lots of new furfuriends along the way. If you go to the home page you’ll find all kinds of fun things to do as well as loads of information by hitting the various links or tabs on the page. The University gives you the opportunity to test your feline knowledge & earn a badge for each session that you complete plus there are games & contests under other tabs too.
Do you know how to navigate easily to the pages you want or see mentioned in blogs? Look at the address bar(URL) in your browser. The numbers on the end are your page number. Each page has a different number so all you need to do is erase your 6 digit number, type in the page you want to visit, and then press enter. Wahlah…you should be on the page that you typed in. This makes it much easier to vote for other cats that are running for specific badges throughout the month & will also let you connect with other kitties that are visiting that cat. Another way is by using links. The links are always in blue so to answer someone that blogged to you (or you’ve found an interesting sounding cat you’d like to visit), all you need to do is click on their link to take you to their page. I know it sounds slightly confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll have loads of fun interacting with others in the community.

Mr. Kitty showed up at a Senior/Church center one day starving and looking very scruffy. The kitchen ladies took pity on him and began feeding him and when it became obvious he was going to stay, permission was received from the Bishop for him to be cared for on a permanent basis. Mr. Kitty now minds very well and will “go over there and lay down when told.” He loves hanging out under the arts and crafts table but hates other cats invading his home.
