I can purrfectly understand how much your family & guests all loved you and thought you were so cute greeting them at the door. :) My pawrents had a ham and I had some small pieces, too. It was just three of us, so we spent a quiet, relaxing and lazy (tee-hee) Thanksgiving.

It's so nice to hear your pretty meows. I'm so happy about your nice weather and pawsome time in your stroller to and from your lake beach. :)
Well, our weather turned out to be not so good recently. We got hit by a winter snow storm and many inland cities in WA are having a difficult time. My pawrents & I are thankfully ok and having no issues or problems. A snow plow truck drove by our house couple of times and I got really scared. It looked just like a monster to me. :(

We had a very peaceful New Year's Day. Now the wet and windy stormy weather (=trademark for coastal WA, tee-hee) is back, but the weather was preciously nice on Jan 1st. Mom and Dad went for a beach walk and collected some shells. While looking at the beautiful sunset, Mom said a little prayer that 2012 will be a wonderful year for everyone. :)

Our recent average temps have been somewhere between low 30s and high 40s. Thankfully, we're getting very little rain and no windy days. :)

Mom gave me a little pieces of yummy ham last night. Ummm...I loved it. :) Today, we had the first non-rainy/windy day this week, so my Mom & Dad went for a beach walk. We'd love to have many more days like this.
I was wearing my Mom'e ear muffs. tee-hee. Mom said those look cuter on me.
Oh no, I'm very sorry to hear that your Mom's new dishwasher has a leak. Do you think your pawrents need to call a repair purrson, or is it something that can be fixed at home? My paws are crossed that it'll get fixed very soon.

It's so wet and windy here. We're under high wind warning. :( Mom looks a little nervous. She's a furever scaredycat. tee-hee.
I'm very sorry to hear about your precious Ginkgo tree. I hope it has good energy inside and it'll gradually recover to its healthy condition. My paws are crossed tightly.

Oh I love to see the picture of all three of you sleeping together. :)
This may overlap with what your Mom already knows/tried, but 1) Go to "My Account" 2) Click purple "Edit" button 3) And find where it says "Click here to edit or add more photos of your cat" in blue letters.
And 4) Click "Choose File" and select the picture that your Mom wants to upload and then 5) Click "Upload Image." Lastly, 6) Go back to "Blog Registration" page (this page should be opened already) and Click "Save" button at the bottom of the page. :)
This should work, but I've also heard that there was (or still is) a problem on the Cat Channel Website when we try to load new pictures.

The recent profile pics of mine were kindly made by Lola (#131462), our Queen of this month. I'm working as one of her ladies in waiting and Queen Lola is having so many fun & lovely activities for all of us. :)
It has been wet & windy here on WA coast since Friday. But it's a typical weather for here in fall/winter. :(

Thank you for your very kind thoughts. I didn't know about the bad storm in Alaska. My Mom is very afraid of storms (especially since she experienced the bad one here) and we hope it doesn't come near us.
Both yesterday and today, I happily surprised my Mom by joining her little catnap. I got under her blanket, lay right beside her legs and slept. (Usually, I hardly take a nap with her. I'm a very independent girl.) I just wanted to use some extra warmth, her body temperature, to stay warm these chilly days, but I made Mom very happy with my furry warmth and cuteness. :)

Oh my goodness...I didn't know that there are still some people without power. We had a very bad storm in winter 2007, which left us without power for many days, so I can imagine how difficult the situation is for them. I hope the situation will back to normal as soon as possible.

I had to stare at Mom to remind her that it was the right time to prepare my food. She kept telling me "It's still an hour earily, Artemis." And then she said, "Oh...!" Good, she finally got my point. I don't know what she did with the clock on Sunday night, but I don't like it when she tries to change my routine. tee-hee.
Oh I'm so sorry about the power outage and you didn't get to enjoy the trick-or-treating day. That was such a bummer. My pawrents didn't prepare anything special for the halloween because there are hardly any young kids in this neighbor. The average age of this small population is pretty high. tee-hee.
My paws are crossed that the insurance process for the fire will pick up the speed and help reduce the amount of your pawrents' stress as quickly as possible.

I'm very sorry to hear that your Lake house has gotten a lot of damage. That is very sad. I'm keeping your pawrents in my heart and praying that their Lake house will be back to beautiful again very soon.
It chilly outside, but my furry heart is so warm to hear about you & Gynko wrapping your paws around each other and Who Boy being such a sweet lap kitty! I made my Mom say "Why...?" with a sad face when I said "Let me go~~~!" and bit her (just a little) when she was holding me for a few minutes. I haven't been able to become a lap kitty yet. MOL!

Long time no meow! I'm sorry I couldn't paw by much sooner. I've been thinking of you and wanted to meow to you a lot earlier. I'm blaming my blog secretary. tee-hee.
How are you and your family doing? I hope you're all in good health and your autumn weather has been gorgeous. My pawrents had a busy, but very fun summer doing lots of (mostly outside maintenance) projects for our new house. Our house looks much better and more beautiful than it was when we bought it this March. Mom used the paint & brush for the very first time. :)

My Mom is making the Hawaiian coconut-milk dessert called "haupia" tonight. Mom LOVES coconuts♥ I'm not sure if Daddy likes it. tee-hee.
I just pounced and grabbed Mom's head with my both paws while she was doing some stretch on the floor. She kind of knew it was coming, but she got a good laugh out of it. MOL!

Good evening, Etoile!
We had another meowvelous weather yesterday, so my pawrents went for another nice walk. When they came back home, Mom wanted to enjoy more sunshine, so she took a nap on the patio deck chair...without knowing what would happen to her later. tee-hee.
Later in the evening, Daddy saw my Mom's legs and couldn't help laughing. Poor Mom...she had no idea what was so funny about her legs. She knew they weren't that sexy, though. tee-hee. Mom finally found that both of her legs had very funny "markings" on! I guess she really wanted to be like me by having some markings on her body. She got such silly "partial suntan" on her legs because she was wearing capri pants while sunbathing on the deck. MOL! She hopes those will fade away, but I think they'll be there for a while. tee-hee.

Wow! 13 rooms and a huge basement? You must have lots of places to run and play hide-and-seek. :) I'm getting pretty good at hiding. It's SO fun to watch my Mom looking all over me (our house is not that big) and, she is so silly, she even passes right in front of me and still can't find me. I'm starting to think that my favorite "toy" is my Mom. tee-hee.

The birthday cake, balloon and the candle are for my boy furiend, Sammy (#93915). His nickname is Sammy Bond and he has just turned 7 years old, so I thought "Bond, Sammy Bond 007th" birthday cake would be purrfect for him. :)
Have I told you that I'm a little baker at home and I sometimes work as a baker for CC, too? Mom bought a small bread maker last year and I've claimed that cool "mini robot" mine. tee-hee. Since then, I've started making bread, cookies and muffins, etc for the CC kitties. I'm still far away from a professional baker, but I'm loving my hobby especially when I see big smiles on my furiends' faces. Let me know if you have any special events or your family occasion coming up. I'll be happy to make cakes for you and I'll (virtually) send them via Kitty Express to your home♥
