How We Met
My deceased husband always wanted a siamese and his brother had this kitten that was hiding because 5 kids was driving him nuts in Indiana, so my husnad managed to talk his brother into giving us the cat. WE drove 16 hours home with that cat and somehow he got out of his crate and we never figured out how and that is how he got his name. But he misses my husband as much as I do and lets it be known.

Hi Houdini, Welcome!
My name is Pete, My sisters and I thought you might like a few pointers on how to navigate a round and meet new friends here on CC, so here goes.
WELCOME to CC! It’s very nice meeting you. We hope you’ll enjoy your time here & will make lots of new friends along the way. If you go to the home page you’ll find all kinds of fun things to do as well as loads of information by hitting the various links or tabs on the page. The University gives you the opportunity to test your feline knowledge & earn a badge for each session that you complete plus there are games & contests under other tabs too.
Do you know how to navigate easily to the pages you want or see mentioned in blogs? Look at the address bar (URL) in your browser. The numbers on the end are your page number. Each page has a different number so all you need to do is erase your number, type in the page you want to visit, and then press enter. Then…you should be on the page that you typed in. This makes it much easier to vote for other cats that are running for specific badges throughout the month & will also let you connect with other kitties that are visiting that cat. Another way is by using links. The links are always in blue so to answer someone that blogged to you (or you’ve found an interesting sounding cat you’d like to visit), all you need to do is click on their link to take you to their page. I know it sounds slightly confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll have loads of fun interacting with others in the community.

Finally it’s nice to visit with the COTM (This month it’s Queen Papoose (10366).
