Education: I accidentally "escaped" 2 years ago when it was still cold & snowy out. What happened was I was on the porch & the dogs were being let out & I couldn't get out of their way, so I just ran around the side of the house & hid. My mommy realized quickly I wasn't around, hey - I'm a social girl - but I hadn't figured out my grandma isn't scary yet, so when my mommy found me the same day, I ran away from grandma. I was missing for about a month, & my family looked for me every day, even trying to train their dog to help. After about a month, I finally had the courage to come out of hiding - it's a scary place with lots of animals & noises out there - & she grabbed me & took me home. She was never mad about it, but I don't know why she cried so much. She said it was because she couldn't imagine her pair without me & she was so happy I was back. I survived, even though I lost over half of my body weight, & I braved the elements through a cold Nebraska March so that I could go back home with my adoptive family. These days, I refuse to go on that porch.
My favorite tricks and treats are: If knowing when my mommy is sick or doesn't feel good is a trick; then I am a cat-gician. I keep tabs on everyone & every pet in the house, & like to maintain civil & friendly order. I even sit on my mommy's feet when they are cold - & that's a lot of the time. I have this seemingly psychic ability to pick up on anything going on with my family members and I love cat treats!
Where I hang out: I like to hang out on my mommy's bed, in my Rottweiler's kennel, & pretty much anywhere the action is or where I can get attention!
My favorite grubs: I'm not a picky eater; I mainly just stick to cat food. I like to sneak wet dog treats out of my Rottweiler's kennel & eat a little of his wet food, but he doesn't mind because we're best friends
My pet peeves: I don't like to be picked up & held, but I'm getting better about it. I can be carried for short distances, just not over dogs!
What I love about my owners: I love that she adopted me out of the shelter & took me home & gave me a family. When I was missing, she never gave up on me. She pets me every single day & lets me & Sugar sleep in her comfy bed. She pays lots of attention to all of us pets & takes good care of us. Lately, she even got a new Rottweiler puppy, it's like she knew I missed the Old Boy who went to heaven in June 2011. She even got him to stop chasing me within a month so we could be friends. I love knowing I have a forever home.
My cat hobbies: I like to be in the know. I like to know what my mommy & all of the (3)dogs are doing, especially my family's Rottweiler puppy. Actually, I have a crush on him, but shh, don't tell anyone. I love nuzzling up my mommy & Rottweiler, & sleeping next to Sugar.
Pet motto: Kisses aren't just for humans - I kiss my mommy all the time! She even puckers up or asks for a kiss & I oblige her with my wet kitty nose. =)
