WHY WE WERE NAMED!!! Part Four
FROM OLDEST TO YOUNGEST!!
SAYBLE: She was a brownish/black color and mom named her for her coloring. She looked like Velvet only a short body instead of a long one. She was about 6 months old when she was killed by the neighbor's dog.
Sayble, Velvet, Sausha & Teakee are all littermate sisters and they are the third litter of Baby.
VELVET: Mom named her as well do to her fur looking so velvety and felt like soft velvet. She never got close to mom til after Sayble was killed.
SAUSHA: Mom had no reason but liked the name as it popped in her mind. She is also a petite girl.
TEAKEE: Just a name mom came out with.
I WILL DO THIS IN PARTS DUE TO THE SIZE OF OUR FAMILY. THIS WILL INCLUDE "KNIGHT GANG" AS WELL. We will give you info on the ones who are no longer with us as well that was related to us.

Thank you so much for voting me COTD and coming by to congratulate me.. We have to keep the party low key though, it is Ash Wednesday. But we are saving all my special treats for thursday. Mom had to work today but we celebrated without her. Tabitha did this amazing pirouette while her tail was chasing her. She always tries to be the life of a party!!! MOL!! We made our own confetti with newspaper and female stuff out of the bathroom cabinet. It was a wonderful time. MOM didn't even get mad. She just wanted to know if we had fun! Wow! Emmie is giving me the stare today…she knows that I am the special boy of the house today. This precious kitty with a big voice was found in a barn, and she was brought to the humane society. Her family fostered her after recovering from a very bad respiratory infection. It didn't take long for her foster family to figure out that this beautiful girl with a silky coat belonged in their home. Missy loves people, especially children. She is known to be friendly, unless you're a mouse. She's an excellent mouser, and she keeps her speed up by chasing her own tail. Nitro's mommy was looking for another kitty to bring into her home to love, and as a brother or sister for her little girl Tattoo. When Tattoo crossed the Rainbow Bridge his mommy was heart broken and couldn't bear having a home without a kitty. Nitro's mommy looked on the Denver Dumb Friends League's website and saw an adorable black and white kitten playing and full of energy on the 'Kitten Cam', so she went out there to see him. The friendly staff told Nitro's mommy he was born in a barn on March 16, 2008 and his birth mother was killed by tractor when he was only 3 weeks old. His birth mother's family took Nitro and his 2 siblings to the Dumb Friends League because they had no idea how to take care of such young kittens and wanted them to go to good, loving homes. At the time Nitro really had no name he responded to, and since his mommy likes Dodge vehicles and he's such a little ball of energy, she named him Nitro. Nitro came to his furever home May 17 where he's a loved, spoiled powerhouse who loves to play, sit in the sink, and grab anyone's ankles who just happens to be walking by (written by Nitro's mom). Would you know what 'Tuna muryoo' mean if you heard it? Well, Artemis would. She is bi-lingual in English and Japanese! She could tell you that there was some free tuna near by! Pretty cool! Huh?
No one knew much about Artemis before she landed at the ASPCA. Her Mom and Dad came in to find their first fur baby. This beauty, manipulated her way into their hearts , so much in fact that they knew right away to make her one of the family! Both Artemis and Mom were a bit shy, but with time, they slowly but surely started building an unbreakable, loving bond. Now they have lots of fun together playing one of Artemis favorite games of Hide n Seek, although her rear end and wagging tail are most always in plain sight. This very special kitty is celebrating her 21st birthday on Sunday, June 1. Yes, you read right and 21 was not a typo!! Gabriella Esmerelda Doodle of the Green Mountain Gang AKA Gabby has recovered from several illnesses. She is like the energizer bunny and keeps going and going! Gabby still has her girlish figure...and hardly a wrinkle.. and just a very few gray hairs! Gabby was one of 30-40 kittens who began life in a barn. She was rescued along with her brother Angel PK and has been living the life of luxury with the rest of the Green Mountain Gang ever since. Gabby even has a heated bed! It will mean so much for Gabby and her Mom that she earn her badge tomorrow on this very special day, so please take a moment to visit her and click on the mousey vote box Saturday May 31. Hi Guys
Dad walked into the dining room and saw Zippi and Taz on their hind legs, jumping and pawing the air. He figured it was dance practice. On close inspection he saw the Rapid Transit beetle, with wings had returned. It ran and flew out to the porch with the two dopes close behind, and under the rug it went. When dad left there were 2 lumps wiggling around under the rug,as the RT beetle was scurrying to safety across the floor.
