Neelix is a very handsome seven year old tabby who was rescued along with his brother when he was a tiny kitten abandoned in a parking lot. Since that tiny kitten was adopted by his loving pawrents he has trained them to be excellent staff for himself and his brothers. Regarding his brothers, Hedley and Jakar, the three of them comprise the famous (or perhaps infamous) “pawty animals”. These boys are always the life of any party, they create lots of fun at every MHL Mouse Hockey Game, and they are always the first to lend a paw on any project that benefits the CC community. They’re always there to offer comfort to the sad, good thoughts and healing wishes to the sick and congratulations to those who are celebrating. Neelix and his family always support the COTD and COTM candidates. They are a credit to the CC community!
Neelix is an outstanding member of our CC family, and since both of his brothers already have their very own COTD badges, it seems that it is time for Neelix to have one of his own. Won’t you please drop by and give this handsome guy a vote, on Monday so he can have the badge he so much deserves.

Cat "arrested" for break-in Brazilian prison
There are paw-prints all over the scene of the "crime" for its part in an apparent jail break attempt. This feline's life of crime is now over.
The incident took place at New Year. A smuggling cat has been detained in the grounds of a jail in Brazil with contraband goods for prisoners strapped to its body with tape. They found a mobile phone, charger, headphones and tools. Officials said the items could be used to effect a means of escape or for communicating with criminals on the outside.
The white cat was apprehended crossing the main prison gate. The incident took place at a jail in Arapiraca city, 250km (155 miles) south-west of Recife in Alagoas state.
The cat had apparently been trained to assist in high-profile prison breaks, and had been seen coming in and out of the jail multiple times prior to its arrest.
The jail holds some 263 prisoners.
There are no leads in the case. All of the prisoners are suspects in the case, but it’ll be hard to get any forward-momentum in the investigation. A prison spokesperson stated: "It's tough to find out who's responsible for the action as the cat doesn't speak."

Remember me? It's Rocky! And today is International Tongue Twister day! Hooray! Last time, I gave you the one about where she sits, remember? This time I actually have a tongue twister poem. Yes, there are such things! Ready? Here goes:
The Two-Toed Tree Toad

But a three-toed toad was she.
The two-toed tree-toad tried to win

Verona #230517 is a beautiful Himalayan kitty who is also known to her family as, "The Vicious Clawed Paw", and she loves to play and play and then play some more. Some of the things that Verona #230517 loves to play with are aluminum foil and rubber bands. Verona enjoys dunking rubber bands in her water dish and takes great pleasure in stealing the rubber bands first before giving them a good soaking. Verona #230517 makes a game of chase for her Grandpa and mom when it is time for her to be put in the bathroom for night time sleeping. She insists that they catch her first before she will let them put her in her sleeping quarters. That game keeps her humans active and gives them some exercise before they go to sleep also. Verona #230517 has several furry siblings but she enjoys the company of her brother, Figgaro best. Verona #230517 also has a special tom named Galaxy that she is very fond of. Beautiful Callie spent most of her life with her first momma, Barbara, cousin the CC's beloved Knight Family. Unfortunately, Barbara went to forever sleep in November of last year and Callie was immediately taken in by her cousins. They originally planned to find her a new home but no one responded to the flyers put out all around town. Now, she is a permanent member of the Knight family and the Girl Power Crew. She spends most of her time in a private crate due to her not be fond of other cats, but she is getting better and spending more time out of the crate. I'm very glad to hear that Ellie isn't going to associate with those "problem" kitties any more! Yes, Thunderfoot is a very nice kitty. His family is friends with us, and they don't cause any trouble!
Well, it looks like the rest of us are going to get a chance to catch up today - maybe. Mom was busy with the angels for a couple days, and now it's the dog's birthday on DC! One big party after another! MOL!
The stray mama cat mom and dad rescued had her babies this week, and that's been keeping mom awake some at night. The nest box is in her closet, and when the little kits (six of 'em!) start getting restless and mewing, it wakes mom right up! There are some pictures on Bee Gee's page 210564 page if you want to see the happy family! :)
They finished with that smelly asphalt up the street in one day - thank goodness! We weren't liking that one little bit! It even gave mom a bit of a sick tummy. :(

Important Information!
The Rules of Chocolate

Chocolate is a health food. Chocolate is derived from cacao beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived either from sugar beets or cane, both vegetables. And, of course, the milk/cream is dairy. So eat more chocolate to meet the dietary requirements for daily vegetable and dairy intake.

Long time no meow. I wanted to say that I hope Ellie will stop letting those kids hurt her feelings. They aren't what you and your mom think. They think you and your family are new on CC and don't know much about it. They are trying to take advantage of what they consider to be your inexperience. Just wanted you and your mom to know.
I have a very nice friend named Tucker who they have been bothering, too. I asked him to stop by and introduce himself to Ellie, so you'll know he's not trying to hurt her feelings! He's a good guy.

So, how is life? We might get a little snow tonight! Can you believe that? Mom sure is glad she didn't let all that warm weather a couple weeks ago fool her into doing some planting outside. She's pretty wise to the tricky ol' weather around here!
Anything interesting happening in your neck of the woods? Not much here - yet! But give us another month or so, and all kinds of activity will be going on. Of course, we have to watch it all from the safety of the living room window - nuts! {:D

I agree with your mom about leaving the bully who shot you alone. There's nothing to be gained by it. The police really won't do anything anyway. There isn't much they can do, and then you have attracted this bully's attention to yourself. Bad idea. As long as you don't go near his place again you should be okay.
We are having really windy weather this week, but no rain or anything we can use! Me might have some rain tonight - but they said that LAST night, too! Can't trust those weathermen, you know it? Purrs
