We had rain last night,and today has been breezy and cool,with sun. Mom had a bad allergy attack and spent most of the day in bed. it was the only way she could keep her poor little red nose from pouring! I,too,spent a lot of time napping,hehe! Hobbes what big teeth you have! Better to eat us with. hehe. We hope you are just a gentle giant that loves the great outdoors.
Our Mama had a cat named Hobbes (Hobbie for short)that weighed 22 lbs & lived to almost 19 yrs old. He lost down to about 10 lbs when he passed. He was a long haired yellow and white cat that looked similar to your sibling Callie.
We'll talk more again soon,

Hello & WELCOME to CC! It’s very nice meeting you & we hope you’ll enjoy your time here & will make lots of new furiends along the way. If you go to the home page you’ll find all kinds of fun things to do as well as loads of information by hitting the various links or tabs on the page. The University gives you the opportunity to test your feline knowledge & earn a badge for each session that you complete plus there are games & contests under other tabs too.
Do you know how to navigate easily to the pages you want or see mentioned in blogs? Look at the address bar(URL) in your browser. The numbers on the end are your page number. Each page has a different number so all you need to do is erase your 6 digit number (your is 231947), type in the page you want to visit, and then press enter. Wahlah…you should be on the page that you typed in. This makes it much easier to vote for other cats that are running for specific badges throughout the month & will also let you connect with other kitties that are visiting that cat. Another way is by using links. The links are always in blue so to answer someone that blogged to you (or you’ve found an interesting sounding cat you’d like to visit), all you need to do is click on their link to take you to their page. I know it sounds slightly confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll have loads of fun interacting with others in the community.

Mom, let Hobbes grieve for a few weeks (and yourself, too) before introducing a new sibling to him. Hobbs will need time to adjust to being alone first without his missing sib.
Momma, Daddy and I very much understand your desire to get another kitteh, to help fill the piece of your heart that Callie took with her. But it's been 5 months since my big sis My Baby left us, and my pawrents and I are still not ready - even though Momma and Daddy have gone to the shelter and loved on lots of possible prospects. I think it is different with each pawrent who loses a furbaby when they decide to bring another precious one into their lives.
We grieve with you, Mom and Hobbes. Most of us here on CC have been through what you are now going through. I will be sure to let others know of your loss, and I know they will come by with support.

Hobbes is grieving the loss of Callie, a female Maine Coon that we had to say goodbye to yesterday ( 4-5-12 ). Very difficult for both of us. I want to bring in new female friend for him but not sure how long I should wait until I introduce new cat. Come visit me, Hobbes & Callie - Rest in Peace pretty girl. We Love You..
