How We Met

I was at my Aunts house one day when I saw a beautiful, but skinny, calico cat across the road. There are lots of stray cats in this area, and most of them are feral. I called to the cat, not really thinking she would come. Well, she ran across the road and plopped down in my lap and started purring!! I stayed with her til it was time for bed. I put out a dish of cat food and said goodnight. The next morning, I went outside, hoping to see her. I found her alright..she was laying in the middle of the road, bleeding. I freaked out. I scooped her up and rushed her to my Vet. Come to find out, she was a 1 and 1/2 year old cat, she weighed 3 pounds and she was having a miscarriage! They did an emergency spay right then and there. After a few days, she came home. We thought we were in the clear, but two days after comming home, she started sneezing blood. Back to the Vet we went to get meds. for the upper resp. infection she now had. A few days later, and she was up in shape. She has been with us ever since.
