Frost on car windshield

A tingling, misty marvel
Blew hither in the night,
And now the little peach-trees
Are clasped in frozen light.
Upon the apple-branches
An icy film is caught,
With trailing threads of gossamer
In pearly patterns wrought.
The autumn sun, in wonder,
Is gayly peering through
This silver-tissued network
Across the frosty blue.
The weather-vane is fire-tipped,
The honeysuckle shows
A dazzling icy splendor,
And crystal is the rose.
Around the eaves are fringes
Of icicles that seem
To mock the summer rainbows
With many-colored gleam.
Along the walk, the pebbles
Are each a precious stone;
The grass is tasseled hoarfrost,
The clover jewel-sown.
Such sparkle, sparkle, sparkle
Fills all the frosty air,
Oh, can it be that darkness
Is ever anywhere!

Beautiful Callie spent most of her life with her first momma, Barbara, cousin the CC's beloved Knight Family. Unfortunately, Barbara went to forever sleep in November of last year and Callie was immediately taken in by her cousins. They originally planned to find her a new home but no one responded to the flyers put out all around town. Now, she is a permanent member of the Knight family and the Girl Power Crew. She spends most of her time in a private crate due to her not be fond of other cats, but she is getting better and spending more time out of the crate. Callie enjoys opening cupboard doors, laying next to her dad watching tv and playing with her toys in her crate. Please paw on by her page 239447 and help her get her very own COTD badge. What I did this weekend.
Last week I decided to escape the parents grasp and manage to hide under the bed. My master finally came and rescued me from the strange environment. Glad to be back in the man cave.
