Hi Bella!
Yesterday the weather turned out to be nice, not too warm, so our Mom took us out for a ride in our cat stroller. It has been a while, but Mom needs the exercise. Callie and I enjoyed it because no one else was out walking (with their dogs!). We saw Orangie sitting on a fence that surrounds the peacock’s house. We didn’t want to scare him so we just walked by shaking our heads, hoping he wouldn’t fall into the peacock’s yard! No sight of Whitey, but I’m sure she has a nice, very hidden spot.

They were both here to eat this morning, so all is well.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the recent tornado outbreaks. The news has been heartbreaking!

CATS’ RULES OF LIFE (Part 1)

BATHROOMS:
Always accompany guests to the bathroom. It is not necessary to do anything. Just sit and stare but occasionally rub their legs.

DOORS:
Do not allow any closed doors in any room. To get door open, stand looking sad at the humans. Once door is opened, it is not necessary to use it. After you have ordered an "outside" door opened, stand halfway in and out and think about several things. This is particularly important during very cold weather, rain, snow, or mosquito season.

Day 21
Time for another day of shopping. We are going to Seaport Village. It’s so nice to look at the shops and the ocean. They have a merry-go-round there. I love merry-go-round. We can eat at the Jolly Rancher. Mom says they have good food.

Got very hot out today! 90*! Mom hasn't opened the windows yet as the building is holding the coolness in. She didn't want to let in the heat. ♥ She was a beautiful Tuxedo girl who was also the Knight Matriarch! She was brought to us along with her littermate brothers Sam & Sly also littermate sister Aunt Samantha 15442 by their fur mama and fur dad [a Calico as well as a Tabby tom]. We were surprised about the tom helping with baby kittens. Not many toms would help out with kittens!

♥ The two pictures of Baby and me in her gallery is when she was under sedation before her Forever Sleep. That's also the first time I had gotten to hold her during her 12 years of life. Petting was not an issue as she loved that!

♥ Thank you once again for your visits to Baby in Honoring her 3rd year Forever Sleep as I really do appreciate it very much!

well..as usual i'm late coming by..i hope you had a fun adoptiversary and got lots of lovin and fun gifts..
well..summer is here..but ot this week..it's cool, cloudy and rainy..good thing mom got her garden planted and everything is popping up all over now..sigh..all my cool dirt is off limits, though..guess i'll jsut have to hide under the garlic plants..they make great shade! and..i know..garlic isn't good for me..but i don't eat it!
i am sorry to hear your dad's new meds aren't helping much..i know sometimes it is a "trial and error"..our dad has to start taking metformin..mom says if he would modify his diet and exercise more, he might not have to..but does dad listen? no -o-o-o..
glad your ceiling got all fixed..now you won't have to worry about keeping those umbrella's open inside..
hopefully your neighbor has learned a valuable lesson...

Hpe dad is feeling better today,we will keep him in our thoughts,prayers that his blood sugar will stay under control for him.How are you today.Was nice this morning,but then we had another storm with hard rains.Mom had to go shopping for kitty food,and my treats,then by the time she got home it started raining and storming,so I have not got to go out at all today,ole storms.The thunder was so loud it sure scared us all,I hid way in the back of the cat tree until it was over,then I ran and got on he bed with mom,while she rested,going to the store sure did wear her out and started all the ole pain back for her,ole pain she said.Wicket hid in the kitty cube during the storm,Baby,Missy,Cindell just kept on napping.So nothing much going on here right now,I have made a few rounds through the house,looked out all the windows,ate treats,napped,carried mr,innertube,now I'm laying on the toy rug looking out the door,its getting dark out again,hope we don't have more of those storms,Wicket is laying on the other side of the toy Rug,Baby sitting on the cat tree,Missy,Cindell naping.Mom said if it did not storm later we might get to go out for a few minutes,I hope so I need to explore and eat my grass,so guess for now I'm stuck inside,pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels.

My Mom must not have been reading the cat-signs from Whitey very well this morning, because Whitey got tired of Mom’s petting and she let Mom have it with both paws! Ouch! Mom knew it was her fault for not paying attention more, but she had been distracted with Orangie’s playing Sniff and Run with Mom. Mom was laughing at his antics and didn’t notice Whitey was getting annoyed! MOL! Us cats have to keep these humans on their toes!

is that she tries and so does mommy! it's master who's the messy one and we keep having to clean up as he's lazy and come suppertime, he just sits there reading, or going doing what we asked him to stop doing and clean up as we can't eat off the table too! he gets mad, swears and throws things all over the place, not very nice of him, but that's master through and through! sandy,ana,haley, angels

Hello Beautiful,
My week is going great so far. Now it's next week I'm scared about. I have to go to the vet. I'm getting chunky again and mom just wants to make sure everything is alright with me. So next week dad is gonba bring me to the vet. (grr...) I don't mind them it's just when the take blood or give me a shot I go crazy. Anything else I'm fine with. I don't low what they are going to do on this visit so I'm a little worried. Sweet dreams my love. ( hold you till you fall asleep)

The outside kitties were on edge this morning, as was Mom when she opened the garage and smelled skunk! My Mom got out her flashlight and tennis racket and went out walking along the street, to hopefully scare it away if the skunk was still nearby. Thank goodness the coast was clear. Not sure what Mom would have done if she had run into the skunk. :( Whitey and Orangie ate fine; everyone just seemed a bit nervous.

good morning!
with hair to wash and trying to see if she can get in her walk this morning, janet's up and blogging earlier than the past 2 mornings. when washing here the fresh air smell does linger sometimes for up to 6 months as janet rotates things and doesn't use them sometimes for months! sandy,ana,haley,angels

♥ Honoring our fur mama, BABY KNIGHT'S 13286 Three Year Forever Sleep on Monday, May 20th!!!!
Baby was mama to most of us Knight Kitties. You can see the list of ALL Baby's Children on her page 13286 in her BIO section.

♥ Well, the Yard Sale is over til after the first of June, but not the work for mom and dad as they will still be going thru the storage shed next with throwing things away and saving things for the next sale!!!! The last two days of the sale never even made $40 for both days!!!!

♥ Mom and dad has been doing a bunch of weeding in the front yard in between customers during the sale and rain. Today, mom went in the back yard and scooped out the big 3X5 (used to be 5X5) sand`litter box then she got her new weedeater assembled, as she had to take the other one back to Wal*Mart then went to Lowes and got one there instead. She got the front yard weedeated then she mowed the front yard.

♥ Mom did open dad's bedroom window this morning so we could be out in the cattery. It was nice getting the fresh air.

That is great Daddy can use insulin pens when the time comes. Mom doesn't mind needles, she gives blood every other month. After her first knee surgery she had to give herself a shot in the stomach every day for a month to prevent blood clots! Glad it was only for a month! Another rainy day here. Guess the grass will be growing fast again this week! MOL. Nothing new. Mon did laundry & I love to nap on the warm towels before Mom can get them out and fold them! Recently a cat loving family had their red female cat, Angel Rhuby cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The cat mom of this family decided she would like to adopt another red female and as luck would have it, there was Rosie at the Petsmart Adoption Center. Rosie #252822 and her new mom bonded instantly and Rosie came to her new home that day. Rosie was at the shelter for over two months and was a bit wild. She didn't like being kept in a cage and would fight with the shelter workers when they tried to put her back in her cage. This was a big reason why Rosie #252822 wasn't adopted sooner; she was scared and the people looking at her were not patient with her until her new mom came along. Now at her new home Rosie #252822 is a cuddle cat with her daddy and loves to play with her brother Yogi. She gets along with the rest of her furry siblings and is a happy cat. Rosie #252822 will not eat dry food but she will eat any kind of wet food. She doesn't like dry treats either! Rosie loves to play with her furry mouse and the laser light. Rosie #252822 is happily spoiled now in her new home and we are very happy she has found a wonderful loving home. Rosie would be so honored to have a COTD badge to display on her page. How are you today.Was a nice day for us,but raining now.Good thing mom got me out earlier.Did my usual exploring,nothing under the mousey bushes except those ugly worms crawling all over.I like to get next to the tall grass,then jump way over in it and start digging,grass,dirt goes all over,mom never sees anything there,guess I just like doing that,hehe!Groundhogs saw us comming and off they went in all directions,mom laughs at how fast they run,I just waved my paw at them as they streaked by us.We go by thier hole to my tall grass and Oreo still will not get close there,the mom groundhog must have chased him or something.I ate grass,gotta have my grass to make strong kitty muscles,hehe.Made all my rounds in the yard,then mom had to sit for awhile,I lay beside her,there is little white blooms on one of the bushes over where we sit and the blooms were falling all over us,they were all in my fur.Then mom said time to go in,when she gets up and gathers up her cushions and ole cane I know I have to go in,so in we came,I shook my fur and all those blossoms flew all over the floor,so here comes ole mr.broom out of the close and I got out of his way,I do not like that ole broom at all!Then I heard mom muttering,she had pulled off her shoe and there was one of those worms crawling on her sock,well she sure was moving to get it off and threw it back out in the yard,hehe,she sure had a funny look on her face,I heard her say ole worms.Made my rounds through the house all ok,ate my food,then went to my toy rug in front of the door and bathed myself to get all those ole blooms off me,mom came to make sure none of those worms had stuck to my fur,ole worms.Then I took mr.innertube and went to rest with mom for a litle while,I snuggle right by her shoulder and lay my head on her arm,she gave me a kiss,me Wicket ate our treats and then I napped.Now I'm laying on the cat tree watching the rain,Baby looking out the widnow,Wicket is hid in the kitty cube,its dark out and he thinks its going to thunder,Missy, Cindell napping.Maggie is next to Asheville N.C, pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels

A Word With Whiskers – May 19
The outside kitties are doing fine. Mom spends more time with them than she does with us! Just kidding. But it does seem like that sometimes. After they are finished eating, Callie and I are always waiting to run into the garage to see what went on in there. Mom thinks we will be fine when we finally do meet face to face!

Mom wasn't n to school. Mom learns much quicker by hands on. School not for everyone. Mom thinks that's why our country going in the toilet now. Anyway, today mom is going to be taking pictures yay. Well at lease I get to go out side. Hee Hee

3-4 other neighbors hang clothes out as all the others use dryers for all their things. during the winter months janet uses lines down cellar to dry her things as if you use the dryer for all, things will have a tendency to shrink bigtime! sandy,ana,haley,angels

I have a few stalkers. I was outside and some femail kitties tried to follow me inside the house. My mom laughing because she thought it was cute but I'm fixed and they didn't know.
Don't get mad, I ran away from them two and just went into my house.

Mom really likes to dig in the litter pan. Somefur in this house, not to mention names, but his initials are J.C. Likes to pile all the litter up in one end of the pan and do his job on the bare pan. He does cover, but then it sticks to the pan, making it harder to remove. Mimi

Hope things get better for Daddy so in July he won't need to go on insulin! Dreary day. Weather fore cast for the upcoming week looks like rain every day. Makes it hard for Mom to get out. Good to hear from you all,how are you today.A gloomy dreary day here,rained this morning,then stopped but still gloomy out there,more rain on the way.Got to go out to explore,grass was wet but I went right on.Checked out mousey bushes,went in the tall grass,nothing there,not even a bug,ate grass,same some of those worms climbing up the fench post,ole worms.Did not see the groundhogs,they must have been behind the building playing,you can hear them in the grass out there. Walked more,then mom sat down to rest and let me explore a little more,she lets my lead out long enough for me to look around.Then I watchd Spotty,Oreo,and outside kittys wander around,they sure do not come close to me,wonder why,hehe!Then the wind started blowing the rain drops out of the trees and was hitting me on the head,mom said time to go,I puled her in this time,did not want my fur all wet,those rain drops hurt my little head,hehe!Came in washed off my paws,made rounds through the house,toys,all ok,ate my food,then went sat on my toy rug to look out the door,carried mr.innertube for a few minutes.Mom said Spongie wnat to go down in yor apartment,nope to dark down there and the ole basement,furnace monster is there,so I went to rest with mom,ate my treats on the bed and snuggled up to mom to nap a little while,Wicket was on the other end eating his treats.Its gotten really dark out,looks like we might get a storm,sure hope not,ole thunder scares us all,so now I'm napping on the cat tree.Wicket is napping beside mom,Baby on the other side napping,Missy on her pad,Cindell on the counter so everyone is napping now,pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels.

Hi Bella!
This morning my Mom was with the outside kitties for over an hour. I was getting pretty tired of waiting! Mom sat on the floor again, to get to eye level with the outside cats, and Whitey really liked this. Whitey kept rubbing her face all over Mom & purring. Mom’s clothes were covered in fur! Callie and I were quick to check it out, sniffing to see whom she had been with. MOL!
Orangie was reluctant at first, but then would sneak behind Mom, sniff her and then go running away. Mom didn’t move and Orangie kept coming back like it was a game. Sniff and Run! Afterwards the kitties ate, not really noticing any scents from Callie and me. (I really think I need to spray that cat carrier. MOL!) Mom says this was a good morning. :)
