I am a Turkish Van from Shawano, WI

Coat: long haired

Education: Survived being abandoned at 5-6wks old.

My favorite tricks and treats are: He answers me "Merow, ow" when I say "Merow, ow". (He taught me cat speak.) and Meiko doesn't care for "people food", except for a just few crumbs from muffin or cookie, just to see what I have. My other cats dive bomb any people food they can get at.

Where I hang out: Bath tub with the water dripping. In the window watching the bird bath.

My favorite grubs: Taste of the Wild

My pet peeves: He hasn't developed any yet. Very easy going boy.

What I love about my owners: Brushes me every day and turns on the water so I can play. Even got me a waterfall watering device so I can play when she's not home.

My cat hobbies: Hang out in the bathroom sink or bathtub drinking from a small stream of water. EVERY TIME I go into the bathroom. :)

How We Met

I had a older cat (who was about 25# from laying around, bored) and decided to get a young calico as his buddy. About a week or so after I got Liebschen, a friend, Brenda, showed up at my door with a kitten she had found at the side of the road ("In the middle of no where").
Brenda's daughter was allergic to cats so she asked if I could take it (hated to think of taking it to the humane society). It took me about 5 seconds with the little guy(we thought Meika was a girl he was too young to tell he was a Meiko). Did not know how to eat solid food or use litter box. Liebschen took over and taught him the litter box, and we managed to get some milk into him and then some tiny pieces of kitten kibble. He was a fast learner.
