This morning the temperature was 46 feels like 48 with the humidity @ 93% & the wind is 6 MPH SSW. Today's suppose to be Showers & High 57.

To tell you the truth, there really hasn’t been much happening with the Girl Power Crew lately! Ok, there is this from a few days back when mom used that weedeater and scared most all the outside kitties into hiding then on Monday she mowed the back yard so most all of them went into hiding again!

Oh!, and there’s this thing I told you about my mama Kittzi 160203 was using the potty box lid for her bed…… well, mom figured it out that Kittzi was telling her she needed that MiraLax again cuz she was having problems with it being hard coming out of her! Guess mom’s getting to know some kitty signs and talk! MOL!

For those of you who had voted for me in the GIRL KITTY CONTEST sponsored by SassySu, I want to say Thank You, but mom pulled me from the contest for purrrsonal reasons. She said maybe another time!

On Thursday morning when mom came in our room to scoop out our potty boxes then came to say Good Morning to me and Kittzi, well, Kittzi decided to bite mom's left index finger and it started bleeding. All mom was doing was petting her, but guess she didn't want petted. Mom's ok though and she never even raised her voice nor got mad at her! She just told Kittzi it's ok!

Ok, ok! So I told a little kitty fib of saying “not much has been happening”! So kiss me for that! MOL! Oh, and, Mom also just changed my profile picture to one taken on May Day!

For the next several months we may not be on too often as mom and dad will be xtra busy. We will try to get on when we can!

The temperature was high 77 & low was 40 this morning, now it's 77 with humidity 31% & wind is 14 MPH WSW. Monday's suppose to be Showers & High 66.

♥ Well, mom told Callie 239447 that she met her match!!!! Saturday morning mom just happened to look over at the end of the couch to see Sassee 10605 sitting on it, which mom thought was awfully strange cuz she never gets on that end table then she seen Callie hunkered down under the top shelf of the end table. Mom told Sassee to leave her alone then mom had to pry Callie out from under that shelf part!!!! That's the first time Callie's been scared. Mom told Callie not to mess with Sassee especially when Sassee's in pain!!!! Sassee is the ALPHA girl inside!!!! No one was hurt!!!!

♥ Mom opened dad's window after she finished her kitty chores so we could go out in the cattery. Funny thing is though, she had it boarded up with plywood as it's suppose to rain today and she didn't want everything getting wet. At least we got the fresh air as well as relaxing out there!!!!

♥ Mom and dad didn't do much xcept relaxed and watched a couple movies on tv then some recorded shows on the DVR.

♥ Mom took the first cuttings of two roses today from her rose bushes. One is of her Angel Face which has a beautiful fragrance and the other is Jacobs Coat.

no rain
for going on a third week in a row here and we might get a scant shower when a backdoor cool front comes through later today, but looks like dry weather through till tues/wed next week, and remain into the 70s wed and cool back for thurs and sat next week. was up around or just over 80 and doing it again today! sandy,ana,haley,angels

Thank you Callie 239447 for being our GPC Reporter for the month of April! I will now be your mew GPC Reporter during the month of May!

Wow! Two years ago today [5/01] it was a frosty Sunday morning when I was hit by a car and barely survived! The ER Vet almost lost me on the xray table and had to stop. They had to get me stablized and warm. To this day, mom swears that it was the frosty morning that saved me as it slowed my blood flow and such down! Well, the good mews is, mom says you would never know by looking at me that I was ever hit!

Mom has been opening mine and Kittzi's 160203 window and turning on our ceiling fan the last several days. We enjoy laying on the window sill with the warm sunshine on us and fresh air! We also have been watching mom and dad while they're in the back yard as well as the outside kitties.

For the next several months we may not be on too often as mom and dad will be xtra busy. We will try to get on when we can!

The temperature was high 59 & low was 32 this morning, now it's 57 with humidity 47% & wind is 10 MPH NNE. Wednesday's suppose to be Sunny & High 70.

♥ Before it was mom's bedtime last night, I insisted her to hold me since she has been neglecting me the last few days!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Then she held me again this morning.

♥ Mom went out in the back yard to scoop the big sand~litter box then dad took five gallon buckets out to mom so her and dad could fill them with the stinky urine smelled sand to haul away. They came back with [10] five gallon buckets of fresh new sand. Dad dumped six buckets of the sand in the box then mom spreaded it out so now the outside kitties has a nice clean smelling sand~litter box to use.

♥ After mom and dad was done with that, they then loaded the truck up with old junk, windows and such to haul off to the dump. They finally got done for the day about 1:30 this afternoon.

♥ Mom is very tired and still dealing with her headache due to her neck & shoulder being out again!!!!

♥ Mom & dad had an errand to do first thing this morning then when they got back home, they pretty much rested & watched recorded shows. Mom's been dealing with a nasty headache all day, too. I took advantage of the situation & got lots of mom time!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Mom says her & dad will be back to working in the back yard tomorrow though with getting sand for the sand-litter box then other clean ups!!!!

"Cat rescued from sign above highway"
ELKHART, Ind. (UPI) Animal rescuers in Indiana said a cat was brought down from atop a sign near a highway overpass two days after it was first spotted.

The Humane Society of Elkhart County said the Elkhart Police Department received a call Thursday about a cat on top of a sign near the St. Joseph Valley Parkway overpass on U.S. 33, but officers were unable to find the feline, the Elkhart Truth reported Wednesday.

The Humane Society received a similar call the following day and the orange cat was discovered sitting atop a light on the sign, about 15 feet from the overpass, said Megan Gonterman, assistant director of the Humane Society.

The cat was rescued with help from the Elkhart Street Department.

"He was a little on the dehydrated side," Gonterman said. He ate right away, so he was pretty hungry, too.

"He was a little scared of stuff at first, but he's a really friendly cat," she said. I think he was just happy to be down.

The cat, which has been dubbed Freeway, was likely thrown from the overpass, Gonterman said. She said it would have been difficult for the feline to reach the perch on its own.

♥ Good evening to our dear friends!!!! Yes, I am back and mom did finish Pappoose's 10366 Thank Yous last night for her First Forever Sleep COTD Badge.

♥ Well, mom & dad wrapped up their 2-day yard sale on Saturday. The sale went pretty good and now mom wants to get some sand to replace the old stuff in the outside 5x5 sand~litter box. They won't know how to act with new and fresh sand!!!

♥ This morning, Mom & Dad packed the un-sold items then took them to Sara's Treasures, which is a second hand store and all proceeeds sold there goes towards spaying/neutering/Fostering and such. They also have lots of kitties there up for adoption. Mom said they had part of the store unavailable cuz they have kitties back there under Quarrantine.

♥ We have been going out in the cattery everyday. Sometime Saturday late afternoon though, mom was at the kitchen sink and she was smelling pee so she started looking around and seen it. Mom knew who did it. I was lying on the counter and she told me that I was a bad boy and said that I was lucky that dad didn't know what I did. She never once raised her voice though then she cleaned it up with paper towels and vinegar.

♥ SASSEE 10605 has been in some pain again so mom has been giving her pain medicine. Whyskrs 10378 also got in trouble as he's been acting like a Tom with Sassee. Mom heard her screaming the other day cuz of that boy and he got in trouble then mom comforted Sassee. That boy never learns!!!!

Happy Caturday Callie & GPC! I’m sad to meow that this will be our last weekend outing to a zoo. I’ve enjoyed having all of you accompany me & would like to give each of you a musical water globe with a zoo animal inside as a memento of our time together. this weather
reminds us a lot of fall when the nights are cold and frosty, then it warms up into the upper 60s and lower 70s which is exactly what we're gonna have through tomorrow and some now say sunday, but then warming up a bit more to the 70s through most of this upcoming week and nights into the 40s which is a lot better! looks to be weeding not to far in the future as it's been a full week after janet finished it in stages the past 2 weeks. sports day here tomorrow if you guys wanna come. sandy,ana,haley,angels

♥ Thank you for Honoring my little PAPPOOSE #10366 with making her win her First Forever Sleep COTD today 4/25/2013!!!

♥ It's true to what you say about how fast the year went, but not to me!!! It seems like Pappoose has been gone way longer than only a year!!! Yes, I have wonderful memories of my little girl.

♥ Pappoose was a very Ladylike girl as when walking in the grass she would walk with such grace that it looked like she tip toed through the grass. She was a petite girl and had several friends and family who also fell in love with her. Yes, my sweet Pappoose captured many hearts♥ not just here at home, but also our CC friends!!! She never got on the counters and rarely on the kitchen table. She was the best well-mannered kitty!!!

♥ When Pappoose first became an inside girl, Rhoamin 2921 took her in being the greatest fur brother to her. He played with her and they got along so well. Heck, Pappoose got along with all the kitties xcept for Sassee 10605 and Callie 239447. Those two bullied her til she was terrified. She wasn't too keen being around our dog Carly, but she put up with her.

♥ MEMORIES, Yes, I have beautiful and fun memories playing with and loving the sweetest little girl a momma could want!!! We also miss our other friends who went to their Forever Sleep in the matter of days like Anna 50686; Callie 89317 & Baby 8574.

♥ Thank you all for your loving Prayers, Gifts and Flowers in PAPPOOSE'S Honor!!! Special Thank You to Boo Kitty 154855 & Momma Jane for another beautiful Frame for Pappoose's COTD today 4/25/2013!!!

Thank you for coming by and leaving a vote. I am so happy you take time with your busy schedule to come by my page. You are all the best.
I don’t know about you but I think TICA sounds a little scary to me. I know some of you show in TICA and are use to it. I don’t know if could have judges looking and judging me like a purebred. I think my cuteness does pretty good for me . MOL
How many of you go to TICA shows and how many to CFA shows? Do you have to travel far and do you like the car? Mom is lucky we all don’t mind the car. We even go to stores with mom after we go to the vet. I don’t mind but sometimes I just want to be home. Right now I’m on the couch with mom writing up my blog. MOL
I have a question of the day. How many of you like to travel in a car? My sister Angel Callie loved to ride in a car. She always had to look out the window. I just like to relax and watch mom. So does Smokey and Angel. Angel Sassy didn’t like the car at all.
Have a catriffic day. Enjoy lots of mom and dad time.

Great poem! Ya know, it's not our fault the humans don't have beautiful, protective fur like we do! It's true! When I give Mom a kitty nip to tell her I love her, she yelps! Sheesh, what thin skin!
So, sounds like your folks are staring the ritual called Spring Cleaning. Yeah, same here. Our folks want to do some yard-scaping, maybe tear up the lawn, which is mostly crab-grass anyway, lay down turf, plant ground cover, set up containers for a small garden, etc. our SF weather is getting nice, so now is the time.

Big and heavy is the way to go with
glasses for kitties to drink from, especially if you're going to try to knock them over! Yes, glass and stainless steel are the best to use for food and water because the plastic gets tiny scratches that harbor bacteria that cause kitty acne. I'll bet your Mom knows all about that! How are you today.A sunny cool day for us,we are under another frost,freeze warning tonight.Mom felt a little better today so got to go out for a little while,Missy found her a sunny spot in the grass,ate some grass,then lay down in the grass and bathed herself,she looked so comfy,mom never has her camera with her when she needs it she said!I got to explore under all my mousey bushes,all the tall grasss,looked over the bank smelled aound the groundhog hole,mom won't let me stick my head back in there,she said ole groundhog monster might get me!No mouseys,bugs,out at all,guess they are getting thier sleeping bags ready for tonight!Saw lots of birds, some ducks flew over quacking loudly,I waved my paw at them as they flew over!Oreo was looking up at them and ran into the fence,he sure had a funny look on his face,I laughed at him,I think he shoook his paw at me,hehe!Then I sat in the sun,when mom said time to go in,me or Missy did not want to go in,Missy went one way,me the other,mom sure had a hard time trying to catch Missy,carry ole cane, and lead me,I lay down and would not move,mom sure was making some funny faces,but she got us both ,she was a little out of breath when she got us in.Got my harness off and I went racing through the house,but did not mess up anything excpet my toy rug,then off I went again,mom was hid behind the door and yelled boo at me,well scared the fur off me again,she loves doing that to me,then laughs cause I skid to a stop and give her a mean look,then off I go again,wonder if they make kitty glu for fur!Then I carried mr.innertube in to see mom when she rested, I got tired and rested with mom after I licked her on the nose again,hehe.Mom said we were what keeps her going here,we sure take good care of our mom!Now I'm laying on my toy rug in my sunny spot,Baby,CindelL on counter,Wicket on moms bed,Missy napping,she found a new place to nap today behind the commode,mom just shook her head when she saw here there,hehe!Pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels.

... on Tucker's page ... glad you are feeling better. Mom also saw your Mom's question about her rose bush. Mom and Dad have 6 of them, and would love to help figure out what is wrong. What's going on? Ours have a bit of mildew on them now, despite Dad spraying them a few days ago. But we are blaming the weather for that. One last day of overcast and sprinkles did that. However, we are told by the weatherman that we are in for six months of clear skies, warm temps and light breezes. Gets a bit boring at times, but we love it.

Mom has a busy day ahead, too. Housecleaning, then getting the garden in order.

Your Mom & Dad sure are hardworking, busy humans! You better make sure they get some time to rest and relax. We loved today's poem about Unbridled Love. How very true!

This morning the outside cats were nowhere to be seen. My Mom was very worried and quietly walked the street calling out for them. Within minutes, the two kitties came running from down the street. They looked so cute together, like real furiends! We have no idea where they go or why, but they came home, ate, and went to their Igloo for some shut-eye! We hate to see them outside running around, but at least they have each other.

It's another sunny day here. Today we will be helping Angel Maggie and Callie prepare the feast for the MHL Campout Weekend, which begins tomorrow. I hope you have a wonderful day.

AND THEN THERE WAS CAT -
On the first day of creation, God created the cat.... On the second day, God created man to serve the cat.... ~Queen Trixie's Animal Tales~ April 25th
Good Morning sweet kitties! Thank you for pouncing by my Imperial cabin with your loving support & sweet blogs. Today is supposed to be warmer with highs in the mid-50s so please wear a jacket while you’re out hiking or exploring. *FYI*The coronation time has been set!! It will be on May 1st at 7am PT (10am ET) due to the work schedule of Spunky’s mom.
Today I’d like to meow to you about another special kitty whose daring deeds will amuse you & show just how resourceful a kitty can be when they’re determined.
TOBY (from Timmy #8851)-Toby was a special super smart Manx cat who always seemed to be one step ahead of mom & dad as he thought of things to get them out of bed to feed him. He learned to jump up to turn the bedroom lights on, so dad moved the hamper to impede his access. Toby circumnavigated that obstacle & instead learned how to flip the switch to turn on the clock radio to wake mom up in the middle of the night. That time dad threw a towel over the radio. Not to be deterred on his waking ploys, Toby then learned to roll the bedroom closet doors back & forth on the runners so that mom would reach out & swat at him. Eventually mom or dad would put Toby outside so then he started climbing a tree to get on the roof so he could tap on the window outside their bedroom. They couldn't very well move the tree…MOL! Mom always ended up giving in by letting Toby in. He also fought the neighborhood "bully", a very big, mean German shepherd who had already killed several cats in the area. One day mom heard a noise on the porch & looked out in time to see the dog running up on the porch to grab Toby. Bad move on the dog’s part! Toby quickly turned on the dog, jumped on his neck and started ripping the dog's nose open. Fearing for his face & possibly his life, the dog took off with Toby still riding him. Later that night Mom got a call from neighbors asking them to pay for the vet bills for the dog. Mom said, "I don't think so." & that was the end of that conversation…MOL! Toby also loved to go swimming. One night mom heard coonhounds baying and opened the door to see Toby running across the fields with dogs on his heels, dragging a muskrat trap on his leg. He must have gotten it while swimming & managed to pull it up to get home, but it was a close call. When Toby was 17 he still wanted to go out in the cold sometimes, but spent a lot more time curled up on moms lap. When he became very sick & began having a lot of accidents in the house, loving mom helped him cross the Rainbow Bridge to ease his suffering. To this day Mom always remembers their super smart Toby & the adventure filled long life he lived.

I hereby present Angel Toby’s family with the Calico Medal of Ingenuity for his ability to overcome obstacles put in his path & thank them for sharing his touching story.
