This sweet kitty joined the angels in February 2013 after losing his battle with complications that developed after being hit by a car the month before. He’d survived having both legs broken & surgery, but was unable to walk & had to drag himself to the litterbox. He was very brave & stayed a very sweet boy during all of the pain, infections, examinations & becoming a foster; but the angels knew that his life would not be a full one with his disabilities & thus called him home. Please pounce by to paw ANGEL CRASH #248838 a vote today so that his foster mom will have a fond memory to cherish & so that this sweet angel can earn the honor of making his star the most brilliant in the night sky tomorrow night.

Congratulations to our newest royal cat QUEEN SPUNKY #161265!! Your campaign about the details of cat shows was stupendous & we learned a lot about how things work for the fabulous show cats. We’re looking forward to some California sunshine during May as you reign from your house on the beach & look forward to hearing more letters to God from beloved pets. Please paw by & meet this beautiful Champagne Point Tonkinese kitty. KAYLIN #251700 is not just a beautiful face she is also a CFA Champion & a Mom. She was hand picked for her new parents by her sister Wendy's breeder when she found out how sick Wendy was. But this sweet girl was already a mom so her new parents had to wait to bring her home. All of her kitties found their furever homes & then she had her Big Girl surgery. She was finally able to come to her new home in January. She wasn't sure if she wanted to stay at first, but her new parents gave her lots of love & support so we are happy to report she is settling in quite nicely. KAYLIN #251700 spends her days hanging out on Mom & Dads laps, playing with her toys, & napping in the sun. She also likes to tear through the apartment at top speed and has been known to do it in the middle of the night too. Her most favorite things to eat are the Roast Chicken that she shares with her parents, and her Blue food. She Loves to make new friends so won't you please stop and give KAYLIN #251700 your vote and make a new friend.

This week’s special recognition candidates were found on the side of a road near a wooded area when they were barely old enough to fend for themselves. Their guardian angel was working hard that day & led their new mom to the right spot where she picked up the three mewing furballs & took them home. These precious sibs have stolen the hearts of many CC members by mom’s picture postings on FB & it’s pawsome being able to watch them grow up here in our loving community. Colt and Winchester love to talk to calm Kimber down because she’s very shy, unlike her more outgoing sibs. They love to play with their mouse toys & frequently pick on their bigger sibs throughout the day to see how much they can get away with. You can often find this rambunctious trio of young felines looking out of the window talking to birds, or playing with their light up ball. They’re snugglers too! They’re often found in the lap of mom or grandpa or you can see them snuggling happily together in their kitty bed. The inseparable trio of COLT,WINCHESTER & KIMBER#251320, are also keeping the house hopping with their energy level so let’s help them bounce off the walls a little more by pouncing by to paw them a COTD vote today, Monday April 29th, so they can earn their very first badge of honor tomorrow!

I had a wonderful birthday on 17 April. In addition to my new enclosure, I got a new toy, a brightly coloured jingly ball, and chicken to eat. And all the good wishes of my furiends, and the gifts, made it really special.

They were lucky kitties and both were adopted together into their forever home. When the mood strikes her, Cassandra #205806 can hide in the smallest of places and will close the cupboard door behind her leaving it almost impossible to locate her. Cassandra likes hamburgers from Burger King, cheese and hot dogs. She hates being interrupted from her naps and being ignored by her daddy. Hi Yogi and family,
How are you doing today? It is 55 degrees and sunny here. Very pretty and I was able to spend some time in the yard before lunch. I am still recovering from my eye injury and hopefully getting better every day. One of my sisters scratched my eye a week ago and I have conjunctivitis. Mom has been putting ointment in my eye three times a day. I am taking it pretty well but it is getting a little old by now. Hehehe!!! Today we are all going to watch the Masters. It is such a beautiful golf course and I like hearing all of the birds. I just wonder why I can't see them. Are they hiding in the tv??? Have a great day and I will visit again when I can get Mom to blog for me. She is sooo busy Spring cleaning in the house and the yard and gardens too. Purrs and a hug, Mittens..

Hey! The weather is now getting pawsome! Although the past few days its been really, really windy up here! Several trees in GG Park have blown down!
The folks are heading down in your area tomorrow, they are going down to Big Basin, to get in some hiking! It's the first of the season. They generally like to get out and hike when the weather's nice. Unfortunately, its also Neelix's birthday, so Mom won't be able to answer visits until the next day, mol! Mom says she's gonna bring him back some special treats! (hope he shares)

Thanks for the birthday and COTD wishes!!!! I had a great birthday yesterday, Mom took me outside to sit in the nice sun, and I had special treats and tuna, overall a great day, sun and napping!!! Purrfect for me!!!! I was so happy I am COTD today, I told Mom I wanted more tuna and to go out with her again, but she said she has to work so ok to tuna, but no to outside (its nice today, but if you can believe it, we are supposed to get a foot of snow tonight and tomorrow ...YUCK) Hope you have a great day!!! Hello dear ♥ Yogi, Maggie & Tipper!! It´s wonderful to meet you!!

Thank you for coming to our page to celebrate our COTD and our birthday with us!! Two years ago we were all alone and now we have our own home, a family and lots of friends all over the world to share our lives with.

We loved each one of the toys, treats, birthday wishes and kind words. They made our day super special. Mom and both of us were thrilled this morning to find our faces in the COTD window. Please, come to our home to celebrate with us. We´re having a huge pawty with all sort of goodies!!

These precious kitties are so thankful to have a loving family after they were abandoned when their previous owners moved away. Their new family, who are long time loyal members of CC, realized that Fang & Drooler faced an uncertain future because of their advanced age and medical conditions; so they decided to take them in and try to find them another home. Fang & Drooler #236550 have now taken their place among the other rescues in the family! They love to hang out with mom, enjoy spending time in their beds or on the couch, & enjoy playtime outside! They both meow their displeasure with car rides, strangers, vacuums, & trash trucks; Fang, in particular, has an aversion to feathers, preferring to play only with a shoelace! These sweet kitties are also dealing with an Auto Immune disorder: Drooler has had 7 teeth removed as a result; Fang suffers from mouth and paw ulcers, and is not too happy that he has to take medications for the ulcers, insulin to treat Diabetes, stress, & will start meds for Hyperthyroidism. Along with Luvbug, Lil Jag, Buster, Smudge, & Angels Kuce, Sphinx, & Dancing Bear, Fang & Drooler #236550 have been given a chance to live with this wonderful family, who are well known to everyone for the love and compassion they have for homeless and abandoned cats! Fang & Drooler #236550 crave love and attention & will be overjoyed to have furiends come by and visit! We hope you will leave a vote so they can have the honor of winning their very own COTD award!

Mum wanted to tell you that we actually live in eastern Europe,Serbia she had used her sister's address (who lives in U.S)to order something from CC.
Wow,you do get a lot of wildlife there,we can go to enclosure and the terrace where only lizards come and we try to catch them.
Not many animals come to our yard,except sometimes hedgehogs and pheasants.

Izy girl is so deserving of this cotd award. She will love all the attention that she will receive. In the fall of 2010 she was rescued from a stray with 8 kittens. We took her inside to socialize her and the kitties and kept her inside to recover from her spaying after the kittens all found homes. He ear was tipped and we did plan to let her back outside as a camp cat but she didn't want to go back outside and she was such a perfect house guest. However, all of us campers must leave camp for the winter and she had no choice but to return to outdoor living. Now this broke my heart so I brought her to my house with Tina and Magellan but that was a bit stressful since I'm in a camper with no way but the bathroom to separate them. I did this for about a week and my dear friend Beverly (who has found homes for many many kittens but couldn't have a cat because of her mother no wanting one) anyway Beverly took her home for what was suppose to be the winter only. But because of Izy's wonderful, easy going and very well mannered ways she became part of a very loving family and she is doing wonderful. I do see her when she comes to camp with the family and she does go outside when the weather is perfect. Two of her kittens found homes with friends of mine and so I also see the kittens when they come to camp with their family's. Yes Izy was a lucky girl and she is doing well. Thank you for all the nice comments and well wishes. She deserves the cotd award today.

Neelix is a very handsome seven year old tabby who was rescued along with his brother when he was a tiny kitten abandoned in a parking lot. Since that tiny kitten was adopted by his loving pawrents he has trained them to be excellent staff for himself and his brothers. Regarding his brothers, Hedley and Jakar, the three of them comprise the famous (or perhaps infamous) “pawty animals”. These boys are always the life of any party, they create lots of fun at every MHL Mouse Hockey Game, and they are always the first to lend a paw on any project that benefits the CC community. They’re always there to offer comfort to the sad, good thoughts and healing wishes to the sick and congratulations to those who are celebrating. Neelix and his family always support the COTD and COTM candidates. They are a credit to the CC community!
Neelix is an outstanding member of our CC family, and since both of his brothers already have their very own COTD badges, it seems that it is time for Neelix to have one of his own. Won’t you please drop by and give this handsome guy a vote, on Monday so he can have the badge he so much deserves.

By the way, where you live must be beautiful. Mom visited San Franciso and surrounding area many years ago and she would love to go there again..perhaps to settle there. But alas, for now, we are in New York City.... need I say more. Noisy and busy and Mom has had enough. Dad loves the city, but Mom wants more nature in her life! As for me, I am fine as long as I have my cozy spots where I can snooze.

Good Morning!
Just want to let everyone know that mom is much improved and to assure everyone that the hospital did do a good thorough check of her heart.It was very scary, because everyone talks about heart attack symptoms in women being different and mom has already known friends her age with heart problems. We think mom did the right thing going to the hospital when she did and want you to know that when she walked into emergency with her symptoms, they immediately started an EKG, before doing any paperwork or waiting! Mom also knows how much we need her and we have been very attentive with the purr therapy. The dogs have been attentive too, with worried looks on their faces. Mom appreciates all your prayers and wishes and says she doesn't know what she would do without such a good community. Mom will continue to follow up with her doctor and keep everyone up to date. The pain is not completely gone, but tolerable even without Tylenol. Mom, a confirmed Ibuprofen user, did find out that Tylenol worked much better for this type of pain. She is being very careful to follow directions, because that medication can be hard on the liver--- also to be most careful we do not get any! We continue to prayer for all our CC friends and hope you have a Super Day! Still very cold here, but mom is hoping no serious snow.
