How We Met
TOLD FROM MY OWNER'S PROSPECTIVE I was looking for another cat after the loss of my special Maine Coon, Figgaro. I noticed our local vet has been taking in lots of stray cats lately, so my mom, sister and I went to visit. There was a few stray cats up for adoption. I asked if I could see them and I was brought to the back of the clinic. There were four cats there..well, two were kittens, actually. The kittens were very fun to watch but I knew I wanted to adopt an adult cat from the start. I found this lovely adult cat who finished weaning a littler of kittens awhile ago and got spayed a couple weeks ago and I asked if I could hold her and play with her. I knew immediately she was the one for me. I took her home in a cat crate (that didn't latch, so yes, I had to hold the door of it shut while she was attacking my hand and making it bleed. She wanted OUT!) As soon as she arrived she settled in very quickly. She has the whole upstairs bathroom to herself with a inclined scratching post, food & water, cat condo and some toys. As soon as she was out of the crate she was purring!

HI ALLEY shaddy shakes his paw hello Australian Possum Ridgey Didge Possum Roll 1 possum 5 tbs balsamic vinegar 5 onions 2 cloves garlic 5 carrots 1 stalk celery 2 turnips 3 tomatoes 2 tbs cold pressed olive oil 1 clump italian parsley 1 tbs fresh rosemary 5 bay leaves 3 cloves 2 tbs Vegemite 1 damper (like a hot dog roll) Note: there is a species of possum which is protected in Australia. They cannot be trapped, shot or hunted. If you run over an Australian possum, and it is still alive, call WIRES, which protects Australia's native fauna. If it's dead, then this recipe may serve a purpose. First, skin the possum, checking first for lice, myxomitosis, and living young in the pouch if babies are there and old enough turn them loose in the woods.Separate legs from breast. Discard head, neck, tail and claws. If you wish, hold the offal for thanksgiving stuffing. Then cut the possum into long sringy pieces. Marinate overnight in vinegar, rosemary, bay leaf, clove, garlic & oil mixture. Make the roll: split the damper, and spread vegemite on each side. Put aside. Chop the carrot, turnip and tomato into small pieces, then cook with the rest of the ingredients, and stew in a pot, adding a chicken stock cube for seasoning. Dip the possum pieces in the pot, then barbecue for 20 minutes (or until cooked to personal taste). To serve: like a hot dog, use the damper & vegemite roll to surround pieces of possum. Serve with chips, salad and beer. Cajun Possum Chili Tomatoe Sauce (depends on possum) 1 tsp.-1 cup Chili Powder (Depends on Taste and possum) 1 Large possum or 3 small 1 large pot or two large ones if the first isn't enough. 5-10 chili peppers (depends on taste and possum) 5-10 red peppers (depends on taste and possum) 5-10 jalapenio peppers (depends on taste and possum) How ever much Cayenne Pepper you like, it depends on your taste and possum. 1 tsp. Black Pepper a pinch of salt Chili Beans for extra flavor And whatever other ingredients that are hot and spicy you would like to add. 1. Skin possum(s) 2. Remove internal organs, head, claws, and bones. There is no flavor or use for these. But if you want to add them, go ahead. 3. Put some tomatoe sauce in the pot(s). Then add the possum. 4. Chop peppers 5. Skip step four if you don't want chopped peppers; it doesn't matter. 6. Put the rest in and let set for a long dang while. 7. Before serving make sure you have enough bread, Milk, and Toliet paper for after dinner. 8. Serve. Enjoy 9. Race for bathroom. Whoever is first will make a large stench. Have enough air freshner remember the coronations this sunday at 3 est and the easter egg hunt before in the royal gardens for the kittens lots of purrs queen josiemaeCome visit me, QUEEN JOSIEMAE 193862 VOTE SPUNKY FOR COTM, MONTGOMERY AND JOSIEMAE'S WEDDING PAGE, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL SCOOTER 194581, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL DOODLEBUG 189639, EARL SIR THUNDERFOOT 210289 & EARL SIR SHADOWFOOT 221094.

hi lumi hope u are doing well we are all fine except gpa he is at home now but not doing real well. gma goes for more testing april 3. it is warmer here but we will have rain for the weekend. hope the easter eggs dont fade on my paws. we are droppin off josiemae's blog for here purrs shaddy ready for another funny to start our day my time is almost over and i have enjoyed being ur queen for march but lets vote daily for our spring queen, trixie, This true story about two hunters from Michigan was originally reported on a news program. A guy buys a brand new Lincoln Navigator for $42,500 and has $560 monthly payments. He and a friend go duck hunting in winter, and all the lakes are frozen solid. These two guys go out on the lake with the guns, the dog and, of course, the new vehicle. They drive out onto the lake ice, unload the guns, decoys, dog, etc. and get ready. Now, they want to make some kind of a natural landing area for the ducks and something for their decoys to float on. In order to make a hole large enough to look like something a wandering duck would fly down and land on, it is going to take a little more effort than an ice hole drill. So, out of the back of the new Navigator comes a stick of dynamite with a short, 40-second fuse. Now these two Rocket Scientists do take into consideration that they want to place the stick of dynamite on the ice at a location far from where they are standing (and the new Navigator), because they don't want to take the risk of slipping on the ice when they run from the burning fuse and possibly go up in smoke with the resulting blast. They light the 40-second fuse and throw the dynamite. Remember a couple of paragraphs back when I mentioned the vehicle, the guns and the dog? Let's talk about the dog: A highly trained Black Lab used for RETRIEVING. Especially things thrown by the owner. You guessed it, the dog takes off at a high rate of doggy speed on the ice and captures the stick of dynamite with the burning 40-second fuse about the time it hits the ice. The two men yell, scream, wave their arms and wonder what to do now. The dog, cheered on by all the shouting and waving, keeps coming. One of the guys grabs the shotgun and shoots the dog. The shotgun is loaded with # 8 birdshot, great for ducks, but hardly big enough to stop a Black Lab. The dog stops for a moment, slightly confused, but continues on. Another shot and this time the dog, still standing, becomes really confused and, of course, terrified, thinking these two geniuses have gone insane. The dog takes off to find the nearest cover, which happens to be under the brand new Navigator. ----BOOM!---- Dog and Navigator are blown to bits and sink to the bottom of the lake in a very large hole, leaving the two idiots standing there with this "I can't believe this happened" look on their faces. The insurance company says that sinking a vehicle in a lake by illegal use of explosives is not coveCome visit me, QUEEN JOSIEMAE 193862 VOTE SPUNKY FOR COTM, MONTGOMERY AND JOSIEMAE'S WEDDING PAGE, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL SCOOTER 194581, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL DOODLEBUG 189639, EARL SIR THUNDERFOOT 210289 & EARL SIR SHADOWFOOT 221094.

hi lumi i have declared this to be "cool kat shadowfoot day" as it is name ur own holiday. we have been having snow showers off and on since yesterday, but nothing to stick what has happened to spring again we are taking josiemae with us so here is her blog for today purrs shaddy thought we would get off to a lighter note for today so i am gonna give u some hillybilly funnies A hillbilly was stopped by a game warden in Kentucky recently with two ice chests of fish. He was leaving a cove well known for its fishing. The game warden asked the man, "Do you have a license to catch those fish?" "Naw, sir, I ain't got none of them there licenses, no. You must understand, these here are my pet fish." "Pet fish?" asked the game warden. "Yeah. Every night I take these here fish down to da lake and let them swim 'round for a while. Then I whistle and they jump rat back into this here ice chest and I take them home." "That's a bunch of hooey! Fish can't do that!" says the warden. The hillbilly looked at the game warden for a moment and then said, "It's the truth, Mr. Government man, I'll show you. It really works." "Okay," said the game warden, "I've GOT to see this!" The hillbilly poured the fish into the lake and stood and waited. After several minutes, the game warden turned to him and said, "Well?" "Well, what?" asked the hillbilly. The warden said, "When are you going to call them back?" The hillbilly said, "Call who back?" "The FISH!" replied the warden. "What fish?" asked the hillbilly. In Kentucky, we may not be as smart as some city slickers, but we ain't as dumb as folks think... An old farmer went to town to see a movie. When he arrived at the ticket booth, the ticket agent asked, "Sir, what's that on your shoulder?" the old farmer said, "That there is my pet rooster, Chuck. Wherever I go, Chuck goes." "I'm sorry sir," said the ticket agent. "We can't allow animals in the theater." The old farmer went around the corner and stuffed the bird down his overalls. He returned to the ticket booth, bought a ticket and entered the theater. He sat in the only empty seat, next to two old widows named Mildred and Marge. The movie started and soon the rooster began to squirm. The old farmer was compelled to unbutton his fly so that Chuck could stick his head out and watch the movie. "Marge," whispered Mildred. "What?" said Marge. "I think the guy next to me is a pervert." "What gives you that idea?" asked Marge. "He undid his pants and has his thing out," whispered Mildred. "Well, don't worry about it," said Marge. "At our age, it ain't like we've haven't seen 'em all." "I thought so, too," admitted Mildred, "but this one's eatin' my popcorn!" now have urselves a little smile and enjoy ur day and visit our sick and vote for cotm trixie purrs queen josiemaeCome visit me, QUEEN JOSIEMAE 193862 VOTE SPUNKY FOR COTM, MONTGOMERY AND JOSIEMAE'S WEDDING PAGE, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL SCOOTER 194581, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL DOODLEBUG 189639, EARL SIR THUNDERFOOT 210289 & EARL SIR SHADOWFOOT 221094.

2/23/13 Happy Caturday and Big Thank You All! Sorry we did not start yesterday, but mom was just feeling overtired with all the snow she had to clear and then there was Zeus, who snuck out twice! The snow was soft and up to his neck. Didn't stop him! Mom just stood outside and let him have a good run, because chasing him wouldn't have done any good and he does know where the door is. Anyway, we want to thank you so much for our Meezers ACOTD and all the friends, who came by in memory of the fourth Anniversary of A.Rosebud's passing. Rosebud was very special to mom and I don't know how much you know of her story. She was originally rescued as a kitten by a friend of mom's. She was probably over two years, when mom's friend asked her to kitty sit Rosebud and another female black LH named Midnight for the first time, because they were moving to Duluth, MN and did not have a house picked out in that area yet. The two cats were neither spayed or vet checked for a long time, so mom took them on the agreement that she would get that done, with no cost to the family. Mom's friend has a learning disability and the family had other dysfunctions, including an alcoholic husband. The cats were not abused, but there was never money for proper vet care. Anyway, the cats were spayed and returned to the family, once they had a home in that city. A few years passed and the family was moving again. This time they had Rosebud and a year old pup named Ginger and were planning a drive to Florida. Midnight, who was up in her teens, had passed the Bridge due to breast cancer. When mom had her spayed, she had several tumors and they had been removed, but they did come back and she was brought to a vet and euthanized, before they moved again. The Tumors were inoperable and cancer had spread. Anyway, this time they asked mom to take Rosebud and keep her, because they knew mom loved Rosebud and would give her the best home possible. Mom also asked for their dog, a Rottweiler mix. She could see that Ginger was very gentle and friendly, but fearing the family had been living homeless more than once, she knew that often Animal Control people would simply euthanize certain breeds of dogs, if they were taken in. Mom was determined that that would not happen to Ginger. The original contract was that they had to demonstrate they had jobs and a secure place to live. That did not happen. Ginger is almost 13 and still with us. Sorry, we were going to tell more about Rosebud too, but are running out of room, so will do that on Tuesday. Needless to say, she also lived with mom several years until she crossed the Bridge. Thank you so much for all your votes, both for her, our Angel Meezers and for me, King Barney. As I come to my last week, I cannot totally tell you what a special time it has been and do hope our friend JosieMae has as much fun as we have. Well here we are to continue this hillbilly way article on moonshine HOW THE BESTOF THE BEST WAS MADE For this section, two men who are reputed to have made some of the best to come out of Georgia tell how they did it Go to the wood and find a good place. Make a mudhole which contains plenty of good thick red clay for use in the furnace. Also construct any water lines needed for the flake stand Choose the corn. Do not use a hybrid or yellow corn. Use a good fresh pure white corn which will produce about 3 quarts of whiskey per bushel. Get nine and a half bushels. Put at least a bushel and half of corn aside to sprout In winter, put this corn in a barrell or tub, add warm water, and leave it for 24 hours. Then drain it and move it to the sprouting tub. Cover it with pretty warm water, leave it for 15 minutes and drain the water off. Put the tub close to a stove and turn the cold side to the stove at least once a day and so on In summer simply put the corn out in the sun in tow sacks and sprinkle warm water over them once a day and flip the sacks over. Take the remainder 8 bushels of corn to be ground up. Take this meal to the woods the last 3 or 4 days should have been spent building the furnace and installing the still. Build a fire under the still. Fill it nearly full with water and stir in a half bushel of corn meal. When it comes to a boil, let it bubble for 35 to 40 minutes. Cook it wll or it will puke too much when cooking later. When it has cooked sufficiently, bring one of the barrels over. Put it under the slop arm of the still, push in the plug stick and let the contents of the still fill the barrel. Add a gallon of yet uncooked meal and let the hot contents of the barrel cook it alone. Make sure it is stirred in well. Move the barrel aside and repeat the whole process until all the meal is cooked, and all 7 barrels are filled. Go home. nuff for today remember ur prayers for our sick kitties and families and go visit our king barney lots of purrs josiemaeCome visit me, QUEEN JOSIEMAE 193862 VOTE SPUNKY FOR COTM, MONTGOMERY AND JOSIEMAE'S WEDDING PAGE, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL SCOOTER 194581, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL DOODLEBUG 189639, EARL SIR THUNDERFOOT 210289 & EARL SIR SHADOWFOOT 221094.

hi lumi sorry i cant get by much right now, but this is not easy time with josie having to blog each day, catpaigning for cotm is a hard road to travel we just gettin rain here and is to turn cold by the weekend. we are enjoying this warmer weather.. i am droppin off the blog josiemae asked me too. have a good day purrs shaddy sure hope cc is better than yesterday. momma got 5 blogs out in one hour at lunchtime momma's back says it will be another day of rain and it is usually right'' PRESERVING CONTINUED TODAY PICKLING Be sure that the signs are not in the bowels. When the moon is new is the best time to make kraut, pickle beans, corn or green tomatoes. If the signs are in the bowels, they will be slimy or soft and not fit to eat. SOUR KRAUT Select firm cabbage heads and chop. Have a clean churn jar, usually 5 gallon, and pack the jar with alternating layers of choped cabbage and a sprinkling of salt, usually a half cup salt per gallon of cabbage. You need not add water as the cabbage will produce it’s own. When the jar is filled, cover the cabbage with a clean white cloth, large cabbage leaves, or a saucer. The place a flat flint rock or other weight on top of this to hold the cabage under the brine. Let this stand ten day, or as long as necessary to get it as sour as you want. When this is completed, take the kraut out and pack it in canning jars. Then put the jars in a pot of water and bring to a boil to both seal the jars and cook the cabbage. Some folks like to leave it in the churn, but it turns dark. Some add hot pepper to the churn for additional flavoring PICKLE BEETS Boil beets six to 8 hours until soft, and the skin slips off easily. Drain the water, peel the beets and cut the into small cubes. Put the beets into a large pot and for every quart, add a cup each of sugar and vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil. Stirring once in a while. Put into cans and seal. send prayers to the kitties and their families in that snow storm up north as well as our sick kitties and families lots of purrs josiemaeCome visit me, QUEEN JOSIEMAE 193862 VOTE SPUNKY FOR COTM, MONTGOMERY AND JOSIEMAE'S WEDDING PAGE, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL SCOOTER 194581, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL DOODLEBUG 189639, EARL SIR THUNDERFOOT 210289 & EARL SIR SHADOWFOOT 221094.

2/12/13 Happy Second Tuesday of February! +17 King Barney here--- time is going so quickly here and our friend JosieMae #193862 is doing so well on her Catpaign trail for Queen of March. Do keep sending her encouraging meows, as we well know it is not as easy on the trail as it looks. The weather here at the castle is cold, but we did not get as much snow as we thought. It was heavy and wet though and hard to shovel. Good for ice sculpture, however, and the prep for Thursday's carnival is coming along beautifully. The Carnival will be on all day Thursday, but, if kitties like, we can do live some live blogging between 6:30-- 8:00 Central time. You have to adjust the hours for your area. Thursday's blog will list all the activities and if you have have suggestions, please let us know. Well, just enough time for a short story for today. This one is about another kitten named Tigger too. This kitten was rescued some years back by a Salvation Army Chaplain, who worked at a homeless shelter in our city. He called the rescue's hotline late one night, with the story of a tiny orange kitten he had found in a snowdrift. The kitten's ears were bloody and itching something fierce, but otherwise he seemed ok, just cold and hungry--- very hungry. The kitten had the worst case of ear mites mom had ever seen. Anyway, the chaplain was attached to the kitten, but couldn't afford a veterinarian. Mom had ear medications at home, but knew the kitten really needed to be seen by a doctor, so she took it on a temporary basis. The chaplain was in the process of moving and promised to call back in a few days. Again, we must cut this story short and finish on Thursday. Do apologize for leaving you hanging. Mom also promised to hunt for pictures of the two Tiggers and post them on the Daily Inspiration page, but we have to find the charger for our camera. Will be sure to do that as soon as we are able. Have a Super Tuesday and we will see you on Valentine's Thursday! hi lumi that is a cool picture. been hanging round josie busy on puter. is raining here and has been since yesterday afternoon and say it will till late wednesday. ugh here is josie's blog purrs shaddy WELL TODAY IN THE HILLYBILLY WAY WE GONNA DISCUSS PRESERVING VEGETABLES LEATHER BRITCHES BEANS String tender green beans. Fill a long needle with a long strong thread. Push needle through the center of the bean, pushing the beans together at the end of the thread, filling from knot to end of needle. Hang up the string by one end in the warm air, but not in direct sunlight. This gives the beans a better flavor. Let them remain hanging until the beans become dry. Store in a bag until ready to use. PEAS Pick the peas when ripe, and lay them in the sun to dry. After they are thoroughly dry, place them on a sheet outside on a windy day, and beat the hulls off with a stick. The wind will blow the chaff away and leave just the peas. Store the peas in sacks in a dry place until you’re ready to eat em. PRESERVING BY BURYING CABBAGE Dig a shallow circular trench on a gently sloped plot of ground. The diameter of the trench will depend on the number of cabbages u plan to preserve. Also dig a drainage ditch leading downhill and away from the circular trench. This will serve to drain off any surface water that might accumulate and rot the cabbages. Throw the dirt from the trench into the center of the circle, thus making a low mound. Cover the mound with straw. Pull up cabbages root and all. Place the cabbages on the mound so that the root of each is covered by the head of another. Then cover with straw and dirt. They will keep most of the winter POTATOES Dig a hole a foot or two below the frost line. Put in potatoes and cover with straw, and pack dirt over that. Put a piece of tin over this. They will keep all winter. see yall tomorrow dont forget our sick kitties and families and vote for king barney lots of purrs josiemaeCome visit me, QUEEN JOSIEMAE 193862 VOTE SPUNKY FOR COTM, MONTGOMERY AND JOSIEMAE'S WEDDING PAGE, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL SCOOTER 194581, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL DOODLEBUG 189639, EARL SIR THUNDERFOOT 210289 & EARL SIR SHADOWFOOT 221094.

2/7/13 Finally on CC --- Happy Thursday! King Barney here, I hope. We will see when I finish this blog and hope I can at least post it to this page and on the CMR. Will do as much delivery as CC allows. We take it that everyone has been having problems too. Other than last night and today, everything has been going well around the castle. Mom's left knee is hurting, so she is trying to rest it today. Well today's story is a rather short one about mom's first kitten, not counting college days. It was about a year after she began living at home with Gmeow, just before A.Pasha came into the picture. Her mom's cousin Katie and her husband lived just outside a small town in Minnesota on 80 acres of wooded land. They called their home the Tall House in the Woods and it was one of mom's favorite places to visit. Katie loved cats and rescued many during her lifetime. Katie is still alive, but has severe health issues and is no longer able to live in her home and is in a care facility. Anyway, one day mom was visiting Katie and Katie had a momcat and litter of six kittens that had been abandoned in the woods. She knew they were abandoned, because the mom and kittens were all friendly and allowed her to handle them. Mom played with the kittens that day and when she was ready to leave, Katie brought her one of the kittens, a boy named Tigger and told mom to take him home. Mom protested that she couldn't. Gmeow didn't like cats and she couldn't. Well, Katie wasn't taking no for an answer. She gave mom a litter box and litter, a kitty bed and bowls, so the kitten went home with mom. Gmeow wasn't happy, but mom promised to keep the kitten in her room and kept her promise for sometime--- a few months anyway. Well, today's story is not merely about how mom got her first kitten, but also about Tigger's first best friend. You will remember that at this time, mom did not have any other pets, so Tigger was very special to her. If she knew all the dangers of cats going outside that she does now, this friendship might never have happened. Anyway, Tigger was in the backyard and mom went out to look for him. She heard him climbing around in a large pine tree and went to call him down. The tree had thick branches and mom stood right next to it, trying to figure out where Tigger was. Just then a head popped out, but it wasn't Tiggers--- it was a grey squirrel! Then, another head close behind--- Tigger! Mom quickly went to rescue Tigger, thinking the squirrel was after him. She took him inside to safety. Well, that might have been the end of the story, but the next day mom heard scratching on the screen door--- The grey squirrel was hanging on it, as if to ask it Tigger could come out to play! Tigger was at the door in a flash--- and wanted out to play with his friend. hi alley and fam momma got up at 5am to start my blogs and could not get on cc she finally got the website to come up at noon!!!!!!!!!!!! it seems i missed a blog on the weather so i will sneak it in today. WELL WE WILL CONTINUE MY TEACHIN FOR ALL U CITY KITTES AND U KITTIES THAT LIVE IN THE COUNTRY BUT NOT IN THE HILLS TODAY IS FORCASTING WINTER BY WEATHER Two frosts and lots of rain mean cold weather is near A late frost means a bad winter For every frost of fog in august, there will be a snowy day in winter At least three severe fogs in June or July mean early snow If it snows crosslegged, it will be a deep one If the first snow stays on the ground for three days, another snow will come on top of it If it frosts before November 23. It will be a bad winter Lots of low rolling thunder in the late fall means a bad winter A long hot summer means a long cold winter—the hotter the summer, the colder the winter FORCASTING WINTER BY FIRE When u build a fire outside and it pops, it will snow in three days If a fire “tramps” snow conimg down the chimney (in other words, if noises are coming from the chimney that sounds like boots swishing through deep, dry snow) it will be a deep snow It will be a hard winter if smoke from the chimney flows toward or settles on the ground. It will snow within 26 days. It it’s cloudy and smoke rises, there is a chance of snow FORCASTING BY THE MOON The number of days old the moon is at first snow tells how many snows there will be that winter. Will have more tomorrow lots of purrs josiemaeCome visit me, QUEEN JOSIEMAE 193862 VOTE SPUNKY FOR COTM, MONTGOMERY AND JOSIEMAE'S WEDDING PAGE, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL SCOOTER 194581, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL DOODLEBUG 189639, EARL SIR THUNDERFOOT 210289 & EARL SIR SHADOWFOOT 221094.

hi alley shaddy say hi and sorry he cant get by to blog my fault as i need puter time to catpaign well momma is feeling better so maybe i can visit some of ur pages today. she still is not at her best so bear with us. OKAY WE WILL NOW CARRY ON WITH UR LESSON ON PLANTING BY THE SIGNS I SURE HOPE I AM NOT BORIN U WITH OUR OLD BUT GOOD WAY OF LIFE HERE IN THE HILLS. The signs always appear in sequence, beginning with the Ram or head and working their way down to pisces, the fish or feet. Following pisces, the ram appears again beginning a new sequence. Each of the signs is known as being either masculine, feminine, airy, dry, barren, firey, earthy, moist, watery, fruitful, or very fruitfull. In general any acativity that requires a dry atmosphere such as painting, should be done in one of the dry signs; and an activity requiring moisture, such as some planting, should be done on one of the moist or fruitful signs. The best time of all, of course, to conduct any activity is when a day falls on both an ideal sign and a good phase of the moon. Over the years, a more specific set of rules has grown up around the zodiac which governs such activities as planting and harvesting. These rules take into account both the sign governing the day and the phase of the moon on that particular day. At the beginning of the planting season, for example, the farmer consults his calendar, picks out one of the 14 favorqble days that occur every month, and plants only on one of these 14 fruitful days. Should he miss and plant his crops on one of the unfruitful days, his crips will not produce at half their ability, and it is said that even a few hours can make the difference between success and failure. That will be all for today see u again tomorrow lots of purrs josiemae remember our sick kittes and vote for king barney each dayCome visit me, QUEEN JOSIEMAE 193862 VOTE SPUNKY FOR COTM, MONTGOMERY AND JOSIEMAE'S WEDDING PAGE, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL SCOOTER 194581, COUNTESS DAME ANGEL DOODLEBUG 189639, EARL SIR THUNDERFOOT 210289 & EARL SIR SHADOWFOOT 221094.

2/5/13 Wow! First Official Tuesday! +23 & snow! Good Morning dear friends! Hard to believe my first Tuesday as King and I have been on the thrown for 5 days! Sure glad for that beautiful silken purple pillow I was given after my coronation--- highly appreciated! Remember we have an open Castle policy---- come for brunch and stay as long as you like. Plenty of room and food. Steve--- we found a while truckload of cocoa, with mini marshmallows even. The kitchen staff put an order in for another to come next week and also restocked your and Zeus's TomCave. Everyone feel free to read the menu up on the profile section of my purrsonal K.Barney page. Let me know anything you want to add. Business taken care of, everyone asked us to continue our stories, so we certainly will. Thought we would start start off with a couple more Pasha tales. The one for today is about Pasha and mom's G'meow. Now Gmeow wasn't a catlover, but she did have a relationship with Pasha and he with her. Pasha loved Gmeow and would do anything for her. He always sat with her during breakfast and while mom was busy doing other things, like getting ready for work, she would hear Gmeow say, "Now you're not getting anymore!" So if Gmeow didn't like cats, why was she always conversing with Pasha and not giving him anymore of things? Mom finally caught Gmeow giving him the last of her Cherrios and milk. She asked Gmeow,"If you don't care for cats, why are you giving him that?" Gmeow--- "So he will go away." As we said, he always had breakfast with Gmeow! Pasha was very intelligent. One night he woke mom out of a sound sleep with a sharp bite to her nose! Ouch! Pasha! Why--- he ran in the direction of Gmeow's room. He came back to make sure mom was up and coming with him. Then mom heard Gmeow calling--- she had fallen on the floor. Mom quickly checked. Gmeow actually was ok, but scared. She probably wasn't fully awake when she tried to get up. Nothing was broke and she went back to bed. Had it not been for Pasha, however, she might have been on the floor all night, because she was scared she had broke something and wouldn't move without help. It was cold that night and there could have been more serious consequences. Mom called the doctor the next day, but Gmeow was fine and he told mom just to make sure she stayed away from the stairs at night. Of course, Gmeow still didn't believe Pasha had got mom up, but mom knew the truth and that is what counted. Pasha was a very smart cat! Well, that is it for today. Please remember to vote for Josiemae #193862, your COTM/future Queen of March. Now Gmeow's Birthday was March 8, 1888. She would have been 125 this year! She did live to 101yrs old. Love K.Barney and family, mom Judi too.Come visit me, Our Precious Angels #75646, Heffner #130639-----VFP Goalie, Barney's Daily Inspiration, Handy Andy #149735 VOTE WHISKERS 227256 K.
