Crapsey's life was brief, brilliant, and tinged with tragedy. Her work centered primarily on her confrontation with mortality. Diagnosed with tuberculosis of the brain lining in 1911, she nevertheless spent her brief life ardently pursuing her art.

You are so pretty!
You are living a long life even tho you are an outside cat. You're very lucky. All nine of us in my family live indoors "sort of." Mom lets us go out on the lanai and lay around the pool because it is all caged in. We have bobcats here and don't want to be dinner.
