Jack & Feather #244567 love to tell their rescue story and they meow a big thank you with love to mom & dad for giving them their forever home & making them such an important part of the Zoo Crew! Mom found Jack & Feather outside while she was helping a neighbor round up her loose puppies. They were tiny kittens, covered with fleas and weighing less than 2 pounds each. Now they are thriving under the watchful loving care of their wonderful family, who are long standing loyal members of our CC family! Feather & Jack #244567 are both accomplished jumpers, and love being outside in the cat enclosure. They were named by the children of a family friend: Jack reminded them of the pirate Jack Sparrow and fursis Feather is so named because she was as tiny & delicate as a feather! They enjoy cuddling together, and also love to cuddle with their beloved fursib K. Leo. Both Feather & Jack #244567 are very active in the MHL & are proud members of the Kels Cool Katz team! Jack & Feather would love to win their very own COTD badge, especially since their first one was lost when their account was moved! Observing the heavens
The Leonids generally begin on November 13 and end on November 21, with maximum generally occurring during the night of Novemer 17/18. Observers are generally treated to displays of about 10 meteors per hour on the night of maximum. About every 33 years, the Leonids enter a phase of enhanced activity. During these periods, rates can amount to hundreds and even thousands of meteors per hour.

She weigh's in at about 11 pounds and will be 6 months old on Sept. 7th...She's going to be a big kitty...long bodied with a very bushy tail...her fur is baby fine, soft and silky to the touch...I cant understand how anyone could just throw a tiny, helpless kitten into a dumpster...we have all kinds of animal organizations in my area and could've easily been taken to a shelter if not wanted...I do wonder what became of her sibling's... Lucky kitty for sure.
Left in a dumpster, that is a terrible thing for someone to have done. Pity of it is the inhumanity of people, that can actually do that to a small animal. It makes me so mad. I am glad that it has become a crime to do that and punishable by law.Up here in Canada our laws are very strict against crimes done to animals and i have heard of Jail time given for cruelty. Well someone was definetly looking over this small precious little darling. Lucky Kitty , lucky you... because you both found each other. Thor is 2 & a half years old and weights in at 15 pounds, he should be a bit heavier for his age. Female can grow up to 15 -16 pounds Sasha is sitting at 12, but she is quite long in her body. Griffin has only just turned 2 ( Aug. 1) and he is 17 pounds and i suspect he will be the biggest of all my cats. Yes they can grow up to be big cats, get ready for that. :) How much does Shilo weight now?Come visit me, Thor, Griffin & Sasha.

Shilo was found in a dumpster at an industrial park...a worker heard her crying and searched through the trash until he found her...she was 4 weeks old...he called the shelter and I adopted her at 5 weeks of age and weighing in at 1 and a half pounds...the vet gave her a clean bill of health and now weighs 11 pounds at 5 months...she was very lucky to have been found...she is a really cool kitty...
