Crapsey's life was brief, brilliant, and tinged with tragedy. Her work centered primarily on her confrontation with mortality. Diagnosed with tuberculosis of the brain lining in 1911, she nevertheless spent her brief life ardently pursuing her art.

How she got her name...
Cornbread got her name from when she was a kitten. Anytime her and her sister ate, they would leave crumbs all over the place. So I decided to call her Cornbread (because it reminds me of bread crumbs...LoL). Thanks for all the votes. I especially liked her coloring as well. That was the only way we could tell the apart.Come visit me, Cornbread.
