Education: The kitties have adapted to inside life after living the first couple months of her life as a feral.
Hazel was raised from a little 4 week old baby and was fed with a bottle.
My favorite tricks and treats are: They are fantastic athletes and can jump quite high when playing with feather toys and They all like treats like Temptations
Where I hang out: The bed and their own beds

My favorite grubs: The kittens love Kitten Chow and almost anything else
My pet peeves: All the kittens hate the vacuum and loud noises!
What I love about my owners: She loves us and makes sure we feel safe and secure. We especially love her when we hear the pop top of the cat food can!! MOL
My cat hobbies: All love to play with the laser light and toys
Hazel---until recently, it was having her bottle. Now, it's chasing flies.

How We Met
Hattie is one of five feral kittens Mom has been trying to socialize. Her brothers have found a furever home and her sisters Heidi and Hannah are still waiting for a furever home. Hazel is Hattie's sister and fell out of a hay mow when she was only about 3-4 weeks old. Mom's friend who found her has adopted her, and she's also an honorary member of Green Mountain Gang 2. (Mom is Hazel's Godmother). She was just a wee kitten when she was found and was fed with a bottle. She comes over to visit with her sisters on a regular basis.

hi sisters
wow we are finally getting to blog some, momma was so busy with month end at work with over 20 car deals and is still pretty covered up.
momma has her spots tilled for planting her veggies and stuff, but our weather is still a bit unsettled for her to plant yet, is to be in the 70's for weekend, but have day of rain and 40's on the way yet and another in the 50's so she will wait a couple weeks more.
josiemae and her monty are relaxing on pinto island for a few days to spend some alone time and rest time for her and him also.
not been doing much else, just hunting and playing and sleeping. nothing exciting has happened. gma went for her lab work today and gpa is bout the same, but still at home at least.

This true story about two hunters from Michigan was originally reported on a news program.
A guy buys a brand new Lincoln Navigator for $42,500 and has $560 monthly payments. He and a friend go duck hunting in winter, and all the lakes are frozen solid.
These two guys go out on the lake with the guns, the dog and, of course, the new vehicle.
They drive out onto the lake ice, unload the guns, decoys, dog, etc. and get ready.
Now, they want to make some kind of a natural landing area for the ducks and something for their decoys to float on. In order to make a hole large enough to look like something a wandering duck would fly down and land on, it is going to take a little more effort than an ice hole drill.
So, out of the back of the new Navigator comes a stick of dynamite with a short, 40-second fuse.
Now these two Rocket Scientists do take into consideration that they want to place the stick of dynamite on the ice at a location far from where they are standing (and the new Navigator), because they don't want to take the risk of slipping on the ice when they run from the burning fuse and possibly go up in smoke with the resulting blast.
They light the 40-second fuse and throw the dynamite.
Remember a couple of paragraphs back when I mentioned the vehicle, the guns and the dog? Let's talk about the dog: A highly trained Black Lab used for RETRIEVING. Especially things thrown by the owner.
You guessed it, the dog takes off at a high rate of doggy speed on the ice and captures the stick of dynamite with the burning 40-second fuse about the time it hits the ice. The two men yell, scream, wave their arms and wonder what to do now.
The dog, cheered on by all the shouting and waving, keeps coming.
One of the guys grabs the shotgun and shoots the dog. The shotgun is loaded with # 8 birdshot, great for ducks, but hardly big enough to stop a Black Lab. The dog stops for a moment, slightly confused, but continues on.
Another shot and this time the dog, still standing, becomes really confused and, of course, terrified, thinking these two geniuses have gone insane.
The dog takes off to find the nearest cover, which happens to be under the brand new Navigator.
----BOOM!---- Dog and Navigator are blown to bits and sink to the bottom of the lake in a very large hole, leaving the two idiots standing there with this "I can't believe this happened" look on their faces.

A hillbilly was stopped by a game warden in Kentucky recently with two ice chests of fish. He was leaving a cove well known for its fishing.
The game warden asked the man, "Do you have a license to catch those fish?"
"Naw, sir, I ain't got none of them there licenses, no. You must understand, these here are my pet fish."
"Pet fish?" asked the game warden.
"Yeah. Every night I take these here fish down to da lake and let them swim 'round for a while. Then I whistle and they jump rat back into this here ice chest and I take them home."
"That's a bunch of hooey! Fish can't do that!" says the warden.
The hillbilly looked at the game warden for a moment and then said, "It's the truth, Mr. Government man, I'll show you. It really works."
"Okay," said the game warden, "I've GOT to see this!"
The hillbilly poured the fish into the lake and stood and waited.
After several minutes, the game warden turned to him and said, "Well?"
"Well, what?" asked the hillbilly.
The warden said, "When are you going to call them back?"
The hillbilly said, "Call who back?"
"The FISH!" replied the warden.
"What fish?" asked the hillbilly.
In Kentucky, we may not be as smart as some city slickers, but we ain't as dumb as folks think...
An old farmer went to town to see a movie. When he arrived at the ticket booth, the ticket agent asked, "Sir, what's that on your shoulder?"
the old farmer said, "That there is my pet rooster, Chuck. Wherever I go, Chuck goes."
"I'm sorry sir," said the ticket agent. "We can't allow animals in the theater."
The old farmer went around the corner and stuffed the bird down his overalls. He returned to the ticket booth, bought a ticket and entered the theater.
He sat in the only empty seat, next to two old widows named Mildred and Marge. The movie started and soon the rooster began to squirm. The old farmer was compelled to unbutton his fly so that Chuck could stick his head out and watch the movie.
"Marge," whispered Mildred.
"What?" said Marge.
"I think the guy next to me is a pervert."
"What gives you that idea?" asked Marge.
"He undid his pants and has his thing out," whispered Mildred.
"Well, don't worry about it," said Marge. "At our age, it ain't like we've haven't seen 'em all."
"I thought so, too," admitted Mildred, "but this one's eatin' my popcorn!"

Mommy and I think you are so adorable and cute and yes black cats do rule. Mommy loves black cats. If you want to see me as a baby go to Shelby's page. I'm the one that has my mouth open letting out a big scream because mommy had not fed me yet. You will see another black cat that is one of my sisters. The black and white ones are my other two sisters and one brother. Unfortunately I am the only surviving one at it breaks my heart they did not survive. They were all put down at the shelter mommy and daddy took them too. Thanks for coming by to congratulate me in my COTD award. Thank you also for the vote. This was really a surprise for me and my mommy and really means a lot to me.

♥ Purring Back!!... ♥
Good evening dearest fur friends!! How are you?...
I´m very happy to be purring back!! We were off line during the weekend because our parents had guests at home. Mom spent Saturday morning cleaning and cooking and then she went to have her hair and nails done.
Our weather has been really nice, sunny and warm. Mom´s summer vacations have officially started today. I enjoyed sleeping by her side until late this morning and so did Sally. Mom & Dad will be traveling to San Carlos de Bariloche next Saturday. They will be staying there during 10 days and Grandma is going to take care of us.
San Carlos de Bariloche is placed in the south of our country, in the province of Rio Negro. Mommy is very excited about this trip and even if she´s going to miss us a lot, we´re going to be very spoiled by our Granny.
Here I´m leaving you a huge bunch of whisker kisses and hugs wishing you a wonderful week...

the temp at my home this morning was 29 with snow flying and wind gusts up to 30 mph, and then for sunday is to be 64!!!!! georgia has had some crazy weather this winter.

i was born in a feral colony also but dad caught me at between 4 to 5 months old.. i also love being an indoor cat...
it was 40°F today and was so windy it nearly blew mom over and that is not easy believe me...
mom met her friend Donna for lunch and she agreed she needs spring and warmer days...
after mom came home and vacuumed then her Avon lady came and they talked for awhile...
this evening mom and dad had someone else giving them a price on a new roof...mom can't believe how much it costs...

well it is bout time we got to use the puter!! hheeee aw just kidding we didnt mind waitin for josie to get her catpaign over. we have a cool day in store, but tomorrow is a washout and i mean literally with rain all day and in mid 50's, the next day is to be on 44 for high and then back to mid-hi 50's then 60's no wonder so many hoomans are getting sick
well gpa is not doing so good, he now has either a kidney or a liver infection, dad forget which one, and again if refusing to eat. and earlier when this started, he refused a feeding tube, so dont know what will happen daddy is going to see him today so may know more later
