HAPPY APRIL....
hello to all and welcome April and FINALLY looks like SPRING HAS SPRUNG for us here. Mommie was just about to go packing her bags for some place called KOKOMO because that has been all she has been singing for WEEKS!! Said that is where we all want to go to get away from it all!! She had a great birthday although it was NOT like it was this time last year when the weather was very warm and nice and sunny. It was COLD and DAMP and RAINY!! But the past two or three days have loosened up and boy is it going to get really warm the next few days too. Mommie is very pleased!! Yesterday was her and Poppies wedding anniversary too. Mommie said they have ben together for 28 long years. Wow that is many days and nights with the same person. But I hope I spend that many more years here with them and even more too. Mommie was down at my human sisters though so she and Poppie didnt get to spend it together. My human sister is making arrangements for a GIANT pool for the summer. Mommie said just more headaches and worries with the two Grand babies but hopefully the way they are fencing it in and putting gates and locks on it will be safe. 30 foot is mighty big around and 4 and a half foot deep. Mommie said it would come to her chin and she hoped she could feel the bottom because she never learned to swim but maybe in this pool she will be able to at least learn the doggie paddle. Well I want to thank all of you who voted me once again for the COTD on April first, and for those who also sent me well wishes on my adoptiversary on March 31st as well. I have been here for 6 years now and Mommie says she wishes it was just the beginning again because she hates seeing me grow up and getting older. Well, Mommie says time to move along so I guess that will end my blog catching up for the day. Love to you all and thanks again......

to celebrate the life of Angel Maggie."
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 7:00 PM (EST) [4:00 PM PST]
Please join us on Angel Maggie's CC page (#78317).
The service will be held by the park and duck pond nearby her home, where Maggie liked to walk and feed the birds.

Happy Groundhog Day
Just dropping by with a hello and a vote.
Mom & Grandma are getting ready to watch the Super Bowl and cheer on our local guys, the 49'ers. . They're not huge football fans but will watch this one. They're more into baseball and noticing that the pitchers and catchers will be reporting in a few days. How time flies! Doesn't see like it's over four months since baseball season ended! Mom subscribes to XM Satellite Radio during the Baseball Season so we can follow the Dodgers, her team. She never did like the Giants, something to do with a school girl crush on Sandy Koufax ( a handsome devil!) and several incidents of rude treatment from the Giants services in the past.

How are you doing today? It is actually 32 degrees and sunny and it feels like a heat wave. Tonight though, we are expecting freezing rain. We aren't looking forward to that. We had one heck of a week laat week, problems with our computer, took it for service and it seems much better now, Mom had problems with her Dr.'s office and her Pharmacy, the Dr.'s office ordered the wrong medication, it has taken Mom three days to get it all worked out. She said that she won't relax until the correct medication arrives in the mail. Otherwise, we kitties have been super duper. We are all relaxing in the sun-filled patio room after Fancy Feast Morning Delights for lunch. Mom plans on a relaxing day too, watching hockey, figure skating and the Football Pro-Bowl. Ahhh, a nice Sunday with my family, life is sooo good. I hope that you are having a lovely day as well. Purrs and a hug, Mittens...Come visit me, Mittens. Since it is very cold here in Pa. I will lay by my human as she attempts to visit as many of you as possible while she pets me all day long. My treat will be human grade tuna fish as that is my favorite meal of all. Question: Why does tuna fish have soy oil in it all of a sudden? I'm suppose to be on no wheat, no corn, no soy no grain diet like a carnivore should be and here the real human tuna fish has soy in it.., Why?
We may or may not take our daily short stroll outside but if we do I will be in my stroller and my feet will not even touch the cold snow. I'm getting use to this whole indoor cats thing, although I will be happy to get to my real home and visit all of my favorite outside trees. My indoor cat tree needs some repairs and so maybe that will get done as well since I am Cat of the Day.Come visit me, Vicki, Tina, Izy & Magellan.

Thanks for caring! We need all the support we can. Today Tony(big bad Tony) MOL,went to the cardiologist and got a clean bill of health. He got his ECHO and they said it was perfect. AND he lost 2 lbs! Down to 22 lbs! Mom's diet is finally working!!

We’d like to be your friends! We left you a vote, ? pretty kitty!
We live in Santa Cruz, CA, on the CA Coast 75 miles South of San Francisco. We live just on the edge of the city. Near a big gully that comes down from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our Mom is our warden, keeps us indoors. We have lots of wildlife, so we are indoor kitties. Mom doesn’t mind the deer, skunks (except for the smell - pee-U!) or ‘possum, doesn't want a raccoon, fox or coyote to snack on us. We tend to agree!
Maggie is all black and her son Yogi is all grey. Tipper is a pretty grey & white Tuxedo Kitty.
