Rascal -- what a love!
I guess you are waiting by the Rainbow Bridge for your Moms. My brother was named Rascal and he sure lived up to his name. Moms had an airplane plant that she was very proud of hanging in her bedroom. It had lots of hanging things with little plants on the ends. It had been outside growing in a pot but Moms decided it would look so lovely in her bedroom. It was hanging there ten minutes before my brother jumped up right in the middle of it! The hanger was swinging and he just laid down. Moms was furious! She actually hollered at him to get down this minute and she smacked him on the rump. Rascal was surprised but he was laughing! He sure knew how to get Moms' attention.
When he was about 1 1/2 he died from feline leukemia. Moms cried and cried and cried. We all tried to make her feel better by telling her all about the Rainbow Bridge but she still cried. I miss him too -- he and I were abandoned by our mother when we were very little and Moms had to feed us with a bottle until we grew big enough to eat by ourselves. I'm glad that I don't have that feline leukemia.
We all stay inside now and we aren't allowed to go outside. Sometimes Neo sneaks out but he is afraid of cars and runs and hides when he hears them whooshing by.
I hope you are happy and have lots of other kitties to play with in the big meadow while you wait. Purrs, kitty kisses and a vote for you Big Rascal kitty. Two cats named Rascal
We lost a Rascal a little over a year ago. He was one of two that I fostered from three weeks old with a bottle. Feline leukemia got him when he was nearly two. It broke my heart because he was such a rascal! He would jump into my hanging plants and lay down along with lots of other michevious things.
Rascal there are is nothing to worry about up in heaven except playing and running outside in the sun. I hope you know my Rascal-boy.
