Here's our schedule for Round 2 of the playoffs. We have taken over the LA Kings again this year after the Canucks were eliminated by our furends the Fierce Felines. And as a result of the switch, we face the Fierce Felines AGAIN in Round 2!! So come on team, and let's get on the ball of yarn and show them who is really the best team!! By the way- when we took over the LA Kings last year, we went all the way and WON the Scamper Cup, so let's make it two in a row!! Hey Rowdy!! Capt Rascal Here!!
I know I'm behind in getting our VFP game schedule out, but I can tell you that our first game is Friday night against the Fierce Felines. Then we play on Sunday the 5th, a double header on Wed the 8th and if needed, again on Friday the 10th, Sunday the 12th and Wed the 15th. Those last three games are if one the teams wins in 4 games. If that happens, I hope it's the VFP!! Samantha is really looking forward to cheering for you and cuddling with you under her new blanket!!

Well, It's Been So Much Fun.....
But all good things must come to an end and this wonderful tropical getaway is no exception! It's time for all the travelers to return home and start getting ready for the coming holidays. The island staff has everyone's bags packed and loaded into the limos for the ride from the villa to the heliopad for the flight back to Fiji where Angel Tinker has the Caterific Jet ready and waiting to return to the states. One last walk along the beach where a few new shells are found and picked up to stash into carry-on luggage as mementos of the glorious time spent with friends and sweeties. Memories enough to last nine lifetimes!
Casey and Becky thank everyone for joining them on Casey's island and hope that a good time was had by all. Mandy and Andy agree that there were enough private places to sneak away to and Angel Tinker and Angel Casha think the island rivals the Rainbow Bridge in beauty and luxury. Samantha and Rowdy had such a good time, they can't wait to come back again if Casey invites them. There were so many things to do here and even if you didn't want to do anything, that could be arrainged too! Surfing, deep-sea fishing, beach volleyball, golf, spa days, hula lessons, water polo, beach luau nights and daily buffets with all the special tropical foods found on the island and in the ocean kept all the kitties entertained. Moonlit walks on the beach or along the paths of lush foliage gave everyone time to spend with special partners or even for quiet, solitary contemplation when the need to gather thoughts arose, were welcome pasttimes. Each kitty has special memories to take home. Snowball has everyone load up, fasten their seatbelts and put on headsets. continued from above.....
Soon on the island of Fiji, the kitties transfer to the jet as the crew loads luggage and many, many boxes of fresh fruit and fish and carefully packed bundles of tropical flowers for everyone to take home for their Moms and Dads and families. Angel Tinker and Angel Casha take their places in the cockpit as the crew gets Casey, Becky, Samantha , Rowdy, Andy, Mandy, and Snowball settled in their seats and prepares to take off for home. Angel Tinker gets clearence from the tower for take-off and they head for California. The first stop gets Rowdy and Casey home, where Samantha and Becky take their time in saying "Goodbye" and both promise to be in touch soon to make plans for the holidays. This precious delivery made, the girls get back on board and the jet takes off again for Alabama. Soon it's Mandy's turn to bid "Goodbye" to Andy with a promise to make holiday plans. One last stop in Illinois to drop off Snowball and thank him for being an excellent helicopter pilot and tour guide. As he waves "Goodbye" to the departing jet, he heads for home with all his boxes of goodies for Momma and the family. Angel Tinker and Angel Casha are finally headed for the Bridge and their clouds where they want to check on Angel Sugar's catpaign and relax with the memories of a wonderful and peaceful vacation.
Soon night falls on each kitty as they head for their beds to dream wonderful dreams of surf and sand and tropical islands and........... ~I'm happily pouncing on everyone today~
And I'm enjoying every minute of it...MOL! I'm famous for grabbing swishing tails & if you move I might just tackle you. Mom says I'm a great match for keeping up with our calico cyclone Trixie, but I think I can outdo her antics tenfold! Nothing is safe from my pounce attacks, including people...MOL! I'm not mean but I put the energizer bunny to shame with my energy levels & I don't give up easily either. So far today (& remember it's still fairly early) I've gotten in trouble for attacking the blinds, dumping a water dish,hissing at Joseph when he came in (I do that daily...MOL) & accidentally unplugging the living room TV. I've also pounced on Patches & made her run with me, pounced on Zaboo & got flipped, & had a wonderful boxing match with Trixie. Right now Trixie & I are racing through the house at top speed & jumping across the furniture. She's still faster then me but I can jump just as high & am more stubborn about giving up...MOL! Well got to go so I can see where she disappeared to & start some more chaos.

Surf's Up!! Grab Your Boards!!
Today is the great surfboard race and all the kitties have waited for the surf to be high enough to catch some fast ones and ride toward the beach. Casey has boards for everyone and he, Andy, Rowdy, and Angel Casha pick out some for the girls then some for themselves and head for the shore. Two days of easy lessons have the girls ready to ride the curls and show off for the fellas. As the waves break against the shoreline, everyone takes their boards out in the water, hops on, and begins to paddle out into the ocean. "Not too far!" Casey recommends, "We can all start out slow, then go farther out as we get accustomed to these currents." No one wants to get stranded by the currents, so they heed Casey's advice. Rowdy is the first to catch a wave and makes a smooth ride back to shore. Andy is next and Angel Casha catches the same longer wave so the two ride it back as a team. Casey thinks that looks like fun so he paddles over next to Becky and they wait for another longer wave to ride in together. Mandy, Samantha, and Angel Tinker all catch decent waves for their first rides and join the others on shore, ready to head out again.
As the morning passes, the waves become bigger and soon each kitty catches a wave with tall, overhead curls and it's as if they are riding inside the tunnel, then up to the top and back down again. In and out, up and down they ride, until the waves become too high to continue. It's a good thing since it's time for lunch, so everyone plants their boards in the sand, ready for the afternoon if the waves hold up. A light tropical lunch is waiting on the veranda along with cool pitchers of lemonade and authentic tropical punch. After they eat, the kitties relax in the sun and let the food settle before checking out the size of the afternoon waves. Finding them a bit too high to their liking, everyone decides to try their paws at a game of beach volleyball and try the surfing again later.
Soon the waves tame down somewhat and the boards are again back on the water, carrying each kitty over the curls and onto the beach. What a fun day of surfing, the lessons really helped! Everyone had such a good time, they want to try it again before they leave for home. Tonight is the weekend luau and buffet with the catch of the day seafood the staff went out to get while the kitties rode the waves. The big steam pit is ready and the seafood is cooking while the staff brings out the buffet tables and the bartender readies the drinks for the evening. Torches light up the grounds and everyone is directed to head for the edge of the veranda to see the beautiful sunset before eating. What a sight! Two by two the guests return to find all the food ready and tables set with fine china and silver, chrystal glasses and candles on each table. Time to eat and talk about the days that have been experienced so far. The hula dancers and native musicians entertain well into the evening and eventually everyone begins to yawn and long for a good night's sleep.
Rowdy and Samantha are the first to say "Goodnigh" and head off to their suite. Mandy and Andy are next to walk paw in paw down the path to the villa and their suite. Becky and Casey decide to take a walk as well, and with their arms around each other, head off in the other direction so as not to disturb Andy and Mandy. That leaves Angels Tinker and Casha by themselves on the veranda. "Why don't we take a short flight to the other side of the island," Angel Casha suggests to Angel Tinker. "I found a small hidden clearing with a stream and little waterfall and the night blooming flowers are so fragrant and beautiful, they look as if they shimmer and glow in the moonlight." Angel Tinker takes Angel Casha's paw and they fly off to the special hideaway.
Upon arriving at their rooms for the night, each couple finds a chilled bottle of champagne and fresh chocolate dipped strawberries as a midnight snack. hi rowdy and fam
we had a good thanksgiving with family and lots of food, but momma started the holiday with a bang!! litteraly
our wiener dog, who has a nose better than a bloodhound, smelled something under the floor from inside. and when she is after something she will percevere. she dug up a spot in the living room floor carpet at least a foot long and 8 inches wide plum down to the subflooring trying to get under the house to get whatever it was.
wednesday nite, after a beer or two, momma gets one of her male friends that come over to help her investigate so with flashlight and pistol in hand, momma goes down and crawls under our place. she hears a noise and something jumps out at her, momma tried to shoot it but missed and then dixie (doggie) comes in and jumps it. it is a big ole possum as big as dixie, but she fit it well, she would chase it round and jump on it and the two of them would go hissing, growling and rolling, it would get loose dixie would chase and jump it again,
well momma finally got dixie out and the possum crawled up on a pillar and hissed at momma so she eased up to it and grabbed it by the tail and drug it out from under the house. of course it immediately started playing "possum" and momma took it to the shop where she could see it. dixie had blooded it nose, but otherwise it was fine so momma and keith took it down to the woods and turned it loose and it eventually got up an ran off. momma is something else i tell u. other than dirty shoes and knees and cobwebs in her hair, she was fine and victorious,. and no she is not mad at dixie for destroying the carpet as she was doing what came naltural to her and trying to protect her family

RAINBOW SCOOP for 11/23/2012 from the cloud of the Angel Sherman...ANGEL TUXIE #192399 was freezing with frost covering his tiny body when he was rescued by his daddy one early November morning & as they say-the rest is history. He lived a very happy life until he crossed the Bridge on June 9th, 2012 peacefully in his home. This precious angel isn’t a very active blogger here but many of you already know some of his other fursibs. After Two Days Of Fun....
the kitties settle back in the cabana to reflect on what they have been doing. Water polo, beach volleyball, surfing lessons, spa treatments, and deep-sea fishing have left everyone ready for an evening around the bonfire and some delicious tropical drinks. The staff take orders and serve drinks while everyone checks out the paw-food buffet and fills plates with shrimp, crab dip and crackers, sushi rolls, sliced fruit, and many other things found only on the island. When their plates are full, everyone relaxes and remembers the best parts of the previous days.
Mandy and Becky organized a beach volleyball game against Angel Tinker and Samantha, while Andy, Rowdy, Angel Casha, and Casey parked themselves on the sidelines to watch the fun. Girl kitties in bikinis are a great sight on this beach. They whistle and cheer and take lots of pictures while the girls continue their games. Next, the fellas try their paws at the game. Rowdy and Casey against Andy and Angel Casha. They decide the girls are better at this than they are and get them to try a couple's match. OK, the girls agree. Becky and Casey and Mandy and Andy against Rowdy and Samantha and Angel Casha and Angel Tinker. Now this is the way to play! Soon the sun gets too hot to play on the sand and it's decided to head for the spa for some royal treatments.
The boys head for the sauna while the girls get ready for facials and mani/pedis and fur grooming. Now this is the life! Supper is ready on the veranda after the spa trip and everyone enjoys a light meal and gets ready to retire for the night. continued from above....
Up with the sun, the boat is loaded with coolers of food and drinks to keep the hunger away while the kitties try to catch the fare for the evening luau. It takes a while, but the boys begin to get the hang of this deep-sea thing and the girls do a great job as well. They return to the dock with more than enough large tropical fish to feed an army. All the fish is taken to the kitchen by the staff to be cleaned and readied for the steaming pit on the beach while the kitties return to their suites to freshen up and dress for dinner. Formal tropical attire looks good on the guys and the mumus the girls have on make the guys whistle again! This luau is a regular activity on the island and everyone finds lounge chairs and sits down to wait for the fish to cook. The smells coming from the pits are heavenly and soon plates of fish and sides are served by the staff. Roasted corn and island veggies along with grilled fruit and marinated strips of steak and chicken are served with the steamed fish. So delicious!! While the kitties are eating a native island trio of hula dancers along with their musical background players entertain with several native dances and songs. The girls think they would like to learn how to do this and the leader of the dancers makes plans to hold a class on the dance in the morning.
This has been such a wonderful vacation so far, and everyone is making more than enough memories to last a lifetime. Or in this case, nine lifetimes!! ~Happy Peanut Butter Fudge Day~
Hi Rowdy,
I saw you over on Steve' page so thought I'd drop by to see if you'd like to play with me today since I'm driving my older siblings bonkers...MOL!
It's a wet 47 degrees outside here right now. Mom brought the silly dog back inside after her morning 'duties' were taken care of because of the rain, so we avoided the family room until a few minutes ago when she went back out to stay. Mommy said I was braver than usual when the dog was around since I went to the top of the cat tree in the entryway. Usually I run for the bedroom...MOL! For being brave & somewhat fearless Patches gave me a big kiss on the nose then played with me...woohoo! I wore her out pretty quick though...MOL! Mom calls me her energizer kitty because I go on playing even longer than Trixie does. She's taught me lots of interesting things such as hiding around corners as your prey...err playmates approach, whack & run attacks, & how to give the forgive me look to our pawents. So much to learn makes my head spin though & winds me up so tight that I don't generally take any naps until noon or later now. Guess that's why mom thinks my batteries run forever...MOL! At the moment Trixie is playing hide & seek but she's going to have to wait for me to seek her out because I got distracted by some birds outside. I can't figure out why I can see them fly up but then they disappear though. They SHOULD be right there on the ceiling but they're not so I'm running from room to room trying to figure out where they're going. Maybe they're some of those mysterious magical birds that disappear into a puff of smoke only to re-materialize someplace else? So confusing! Well I've got to go see if I can discover the secret of the birds so will meow at you again soon. Leaving you a chunk of Peanut Butter Fudge for your pawents & a vote stuffed with a catnip tart for you.

After A Day Relaxing On The Sunny Beach....
The kitties board the jet for a quick trip to the arena for hockey. Games played, friends met, food eaten, and back on board for the return trip to Fiji. Just in time for the evening firelight karaoke on the beach. It's an early night for everyone though, as Snowball's helicopter will take off at dawn for Casey's tropical island in the South Seas.
As the sun begins to rise, Snowball alerts everyone that it's time to load up and head out. It's a short trip, so breakfast will have to wait until they arrive at the villa on the island. Bags and kitties on board, Snowball powers up the engine and the 'copter lifts off and speeds away! The view from the windows is spectacular of all the islands and deep blue waters of the South Sea and the kitties who haven't been here before wonder if Casey's place is as beautiful. "Don't worry! You'll be breathless at the view from your own windows in the villa suites." Becky and Casey hand out pamphlets they had made with pictures of the island and the kitties "OOOOOHHH & AAAHHHHH" and can't wait to see things in person.
Soon Snowball announces that they are coming in for a landing at the heliport on the island and for everyone to buckle up again and get ready to be amazed. The helicopter lands and the kitties are met by limos with drivers who take their bags, put them in the trunks and open the doors for the kitties to jump in. There is champagne on ice and caviar and crackers on plates ready for snacking until they arrive at the villa.
Winding up the long, steep drive to the main house, the limos soon arrive and everyone gets out and is delighted with the view from the front lawn of the ocean and beach below. The villa staff welcomes the guests and directs them to the rear veranda where they find a huge buffet brunch ready and waiting to be enjoyed. Soon after filling their tummies, each couple is directed to their own suite where bags are already unpacked and swimming attire laid out. It's time to relax and enjoy the pool! There will be lots of time to explore the grounds and take advantage of the amenities available on the tropical paradise they have been invited to visit. "You'll have a wonderful time!" says Casey. "This island was given to me by Becky's brothers as a Christmas gift last year and I have only invited a select few to visit and share it with us. I hope you will have fun and take time to explore the beauty that is Caseyland!" (I couldn't think of anything else to call it!) Reciprocity Recipe Exchange
The best part of cupcake is that plain ones are sold in supermarkets and it can be decorated by kids. Here's another baking activity.
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on those things that enrich our lives. Pets give owners so much and ask for so little in return!
Black Cat Dippers with Pumpkin Pie Dip Recipe
Prep: 20 min. Bake: 10 min./batch
Yield: 24 Servings (2-1/2 dozen black cats-3 cups dip).
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 can (15 ounces) solid-pack pumpkin
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon honey
1 package (15 ounces) refrigerated pie pastry
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
Black paste food coloring
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
Add the pumpkin, confectioners' sugar, pie spice and honey; beat until smooth.
Cover and refrigerate until serving.
Roll out each pie pastry directly on an ungreased baking sheet to 1/8-in. thickness.
Cut with a floured 2-in. cat-shaped cookie cutter, leaving at least 1 in. between cutouts.
Remove excess dough and reroll scraps if desired.
Beat the egg, milk and food coloring; brush over cutouts.
Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over cutouts.
Bake at 400° for 6-7 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
Serve with pumpkin dip.

Angel Tinker Flies To the Virgin Islands...
in the Caterific Airways jet to pick up Angel Casha. Snowball has the RV ready for the rest of the passengers and loads Becky, Mandy, and Samantha's bags on board. He gets the girls inside and they head out to pick up Andy, then Rowdy, before heading over to get Casey. They will meet Angels Tinker and Casha in California, then they will all board the jet for the flight to Fiji where his helicopter is waiting for the last leg of the trip.
Angel Tinker arrives on St John where Angel Casha is waiting. He wanted to go by and sprinkle special long-lasting angel dust over his family to take care of them while he is away. He leaves Angel Sugar and the rest of the angel family extra dust to use when Casey's Momma and Daddy come to visit. It will keep Casey's Momma from knowing that her furchild has been sprung from Miss Kitty's Inn and is spending time on his tropical island with Becky and the others. Angel Casha puts his bags on the jet and settles into the co-pilot's seat next to sweet Angel Tinker. She hands him a set of headphones and motions for him to put them on. "Now we can take off to meet everyone in California. I'm sure Snowball is already headed that way."
The RV takes off for Alabama first to pick up Andy. Mandy is excited to see her fella and spend time with him on the island. They arrive at Andy's house and find him waiting out front with his bags, ready to jump on board! "I've already said my 'Goodbyes' to the family and can't wait to get started! Milo has been put in charge of taking care of Daddy and helping him keep quiet and out of trouble. I left him a couple extra rolls of duct tape just in case!" Andy puts his bags inside and they head out for California to pick up Rowdy next.
Thanks to the magic of the kitty world, the RV arrives at Rowdy's door after just a few minutes, only to find his entire family waiting with him at the sidewalk. He has his bags ready and tosses them on board quickly to get away from the crowd. He loves his family very much, but he is anxious and ready to spend a little vacation time away with Samantha and her family and friends. Rowdy takes out his iPhone and dials Casey's number before Becky can get hers dialed and waits for an answer. "Hello?" Casey says, not sure of the number on his display. "Casey, my good man!" Rowdy says in return. "Rowdy, here! I have a familiar person you know quite well here with me and we are ready to spring you from the joint and take off for tropical parts well known!" Becky shouts in the background, "Get your bags ready, We're in the RV and on our way to get you and meet Aunt Angel Tinker at the airport!" Casey purrs loudly into the phone and tells Rowdy to let Becky know he is ready and waiting!

Soon the RV pulls up in front of Miss Kitty's Inn and Snowball jumps out, grabs Casey's bags before the staff realize Casey is leaving and tosses them inside. Casey leaves a note for his caretaker to find at the next feeding time and tells her not to worry. He is in good hands! He hugs Becky and steals a kiss before the RV pulls out, headed for the airport where Angels Tinker and Casha are waiting. Leaving the RV in long-term private parking, everyone including Snowball boards the jet and find seats, buckle up, and gets set for take-off. Smoothly gliding down the runway, the jet lifts into the air on it's way to Fiji for an overnight stay, before everyone changes to Snowball's helicopter for the trip to Casey's private tropical isle! Everyone is served dinner and drinks by the airline staff and then they settle down to watch a special showing of "Lincoln" on the HD video screen. The lights are lowered and the movie begins. Soon the jet arrives in Fiji and the kitties deplane and see limos waiting to take them to the villa where they will spend the night. cool start to the day here in ga
our dear angel scooter and angel doodlebug have asked the angle kitties to meet up at their community cloudhouse to get things started to be sure the homeless animals get a nice thanksgiving dinner so they will know they are not forgotten on this special day.
josiemae thinks we should meet at the castle common room and do the same thing here to help our angels out with this enormous task. we can even send some to the hoomans here on the east coast that were caught up in the storm.

Thank You all so much for my COTD. What a surprise. I'm very Honored. Wow what a Birthday, before dad took the car in to be serviced. I got my car ride. Mom n dad took me to the pond, in the park. I got to play with Frogs, and even seen a opulent Lizards. Boy those Lizards are fast. I seen a cat, and wanted to mean him are her. But he are she was very afraid. So mom would let me play with him. I even got a whole Potato Chip. I just love them and mom doesn't let me have one very often. Everyone wants me. But mom tells them oh no not My Harley he's my God Scent Kitty. Mom tells everyone and I'm sure you all heard how mom got me. But mom said that was crying very hard off Angel Duffy, and she was on her way home. And she drove way passed her house. When she stopped at the stop light she looked up and there was the Cottonville HS. Mom thought that it was a sign. And mom had told dad that long before Angel Duffy passed. That her next cat would come from the HS and it would be a Siamese Mutt, Blue Point. Dad laughed at her every time she said it. Mom just had to go in it. And she looked at the older cats no Blue Points, so she went a crossed to the kittens, and there were 30 kittens, and I was the very last one she looked at. And the lady that worked there told mom that there were no Blue Points there. But mom new when she seen me she had to have me. And she called dad, and told her God spent her there. That I was mean to be there kitty. That's why mom says I'm a gift from God. And she and dad thank God everyday that they have us Fur Kids. Hey Rowdy!!
I had a great time too riding up the coast and looking at the stars. It was such a clear crisp night and the stars were so sparkly! And I love pink roses! The aroma from them fills my room and just goes with my decor. My pink bedspread and pillows match perfectly. I hope they last a long time, I'm pressing one in my big cat history book to have as a keepsake. Aunt Angel Tinker taught me how to do it, she has some from Angel Casha and has started a scrapbook with them. The VFP doesn't have a game Wednesday, so I'll have lots of time to sit with you and talk, if you want. I hope I see you at the rink! Sleep well and dream kitty dreams. This week’s special recognition kitties are the 4 of 5 furbabies left behind after their beloved mom Marie was called by the angels after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. The TUMBLEWEEDS #238074…Itsy Bitsy (F-14), Add-a-Line (F-10) , Rusty Buckets (M-9) and Blondie (F-9)…were well known by their new furever family before they came to live with them. Their previous ‘owner’ was known for her gentle, kind & loving approach as each day dawned anew, yet the torment in her eyes about the welfare of her fubabies when she feared “something might happen to her” , was obvious to her dear furiends when they talked to her. They put her mind at ease one day when they agreed to take all of her precious kitties if anything happened & it lifted her spirits to give her the peace of mind that all human feline parents deserve. About a week before their mom was called to the angels she placed a call to her dear furiends & said… "It’s time my friend, please come get them because I can't care for them and spend time with them the way they deserve". This was heartbreaking news for the kitties, but also for the dear furiends because they knew she wouldn’t give them up unless she had no other choice. And so they came into their new furever home where they’re loved dearly, just as their angel mom intended! They got their group name when their fur came out during grooming time & rolled into little balls that kept skirting around the room, just like tumbleweeds. It made their new parents laugh to watch it & from that moment forward they were known as MARIE’S TUMBLEWEEDS #238074. Itsy Bitsy & Add-a-Line had the most trouble adjusting to their new home but eventually they settled into a quiet, normal routine & have come to love their new parents just as much as their fursibs. Not only would we like to honor MARIE’S TUMBLEWEEDS #238074 today but also the loving mom they lost & their new adoring parents. ~Whispers from Patches~
Shhh...I'm tiptoeing & whispering this morning so I don't wake Fluffernut & Trixie up. They were both maniacs running through the house this morning & they tried to confuse me by running in opposite directions to the family room. Fluffers kept running down the hallway & through the laundry room to the back entrance while Trixie raced through the kitchen so she could leap down the 2 steps to get there first. Those silly kits romped & played like that for over an hour before they finally settled down for a mid-morning nap so I'm being very quiet so they'll stay asleep...MOL! Zaboo took refuge under the computer desk but I did see him come out to eat when they quieted down. Now he's found little sis' lap so is watching TV with her & keeping warm at the same time. Sammie pup is outside but mom went out a few minutes ago to scold her for taking her blankets out of her doghouse so now she's pouting but she's laying inside of her house...MOL!
The Indy news is predicting Indian Summer for us for the next few days but also chances of rain. It's fairly cloudy right now so I'm hoping Mr. Sun will make his appearance for at least a few minutes before the late afternoon showers begin. The outside crew will appreciate the warmer temps & have already come out of the cattery to lay on their cushioned bench on the front porch. Buddy & Scamper were wrestling & playing yesterday so they're getting over the loss of their fursis Pixie very well. They've also been purring a lot when mom picks them up to love on them so we're all happy about that. Joseph & his bro Adam have been sticking pretty close to both of them recently so between their attention & mom's they're coming out of their depression very well. Well the kids are on their last day of fall break plus Joseph needs to do some blogs too so I'll sign-off for now & leave you a pawful of catnip peanuts with your vote in honor of National Nut Day...because real nuts are for squirrels...MOL! Please vote Bella (235772) COTD Mon. Oct. 22nd
Bella is a charming and Beautiful 1 year old. (Her name means beautiful in Italian) Bella was abandoned and rescued by the local Humane Society and the wonderful people at Petsmart held an adoption day where Bella met her new family. It was love at first sight.
Bella was a little skittish when she first came to her new furrever home but she’s adjusted well and spends her days being loved and offering love in return. She’s playful and full of mischief. She likes to hide in her kitty tent and reach her paw out to play with rollerball toys.
She enjoys being petted, doesn’t like being brushed and really likes to tease her older brother, Button. One of her favorite treats is mashed potatoes.
Bella’s Brother, Button, got his COTD badge last month and has been teasing her about it ever since. Let’s all pounce on this very special kitty’s vote button so that she can have her very own shiny COTD badge.

Thanks for stopping by. I have been doing awesome!! Your right we have a lot of strays in our neighborhood and Dad is always worried about me. I usually hang out with the kitties who have Mom's and Dad's. Lucifer who is a stray Siamese is a very wonderful friend though. I don't think he has a disease. At least I hope not. ~Patches' playful purrs & pounces~
Hi Rowdy,
Thanks for the return visit sweet kitty:) My outside sib Joseph went by to visit Alexi today. We wish it was as warm here as it is in your area! Our temps are lucky to reach 70 this time of the year but that's what we get for living in the northern part of Indiana...MOL!
Mom has a lot to get done today before the rain moves in so have to make this short & sweet even though I'm bursting with playful energy this morning.
I played with Fluffernut for a few minutes earlier but then mom got out the laser light & it called my name...MOL! Fluffers tried to get in my way but she found out that wasn't a very good idea when I ran right over her in my zeal to catch the glowing red light that was racing across the floor. After being bowled over more than once she decided to cuddle with Zaboo in the rocking chair. Trixie missed all of the excitement because she was sitting in the laundry room listening to something in the wall. Mom thinks she may be tracking another mouse since they've finally got the fields around us cut so will be watching her carefully so that no mice get dropped into her shoes again...MOL! Well I've got to go so mom can get little sis' concert clothes washed & dried for tonight's big band event at the school plus get limbs picked up & garden decor put away. I'll meow at you again tomorrow but in the meantime I'm leaving you a vote along with a steaming plate of Fettuccine Alfredo in honor of National Pasta Day!

You are such an awesome kitty. I guess i well tell you how my Tuesday went. It was fun. My Dad gave me 2 bowls of kitten chow, soft food,
kitty treats, a teaspoon of yogurt, and fresh water!! I had quiet a breakfast/lunch! I also played tag with Mouse. I hung out with Lucifer the stray Siamese, I played with the other neighborhood cats ( Even though they aren't too fond of me) and I slept a lot. LOL. Kisses, kitty treats, and head rubs to you!!

It's another very cool, breezy morning in our area. Most of our trees have lost their leaves so the nearby woods are looking very bare & the poor trees are starting to shiver. Mom took Fluffinella to the door today to see how she'd react & started laughing when she wriggled free & raced to her bedroom sanctuary. Guess that answers the big question on whether she misses being outside & proves she's not as silly as she acts...MOL! Dad had always said that 3 inside cats is his limit but the white whirlwind has wound her paws around his heart so tight that even he's not complaining, especially since she hunts him down every night to play...MOL! Wonders never cease but I'll put my paw down hard if they ever try to move another D.O.G. in! One of those drooly, smelly monsters is quite enough for all of us felines to contend with!
I have some good mews to share! Mom was shocked to find my long missing mouse toy in front of the living room couch when she got up this morning. She's still wondering which one of us found it & where, since she thought she'd looked everywhere, but no one is telling...MOL! I purrsonally think it was probably a Fluffinella discovery since she's the only one small enough to fit under things but as long as it's found I really don't care who did...MOL! I romped with him for a long time before I flicked it toward Fluffers & Trixie as they ran past. It was hilarious as they both hit the brakes to see what I'd tossed their way & I think they left a few skid marks on the kitchen floor too...MOL! They amewsed themselves with it for a while then continued their romp, race & wrestle game until Trixie hissed that she'd had enough for the time being. Zaboo was rolling his eyes at all of us this morning because we were so active but found sanctuary in mom's lap to avoid a pouncing...MOL! He's gone to eat again but had to avoid the running duo of Trixie & Fluffers to get there. Sometimes I feel sorry for him being surrounded by such active sisters but he takes it all in stride & keeps his happy catitude most of the time. Well I've got to go because the youngsters are starting to disturb my concentration & one of them just attacked my tail, which means my paws had better get busy whacking before they get completely out of control.
