Crapsey's life was brief, brilliant, and tinged with tragedy. Her work centered primarily on her confrontation with mortality. Diagnosed with tuberculosis of the brain lining in 1911, she nevertheless spent her brief life ardently pursuing her art.

Hello & WELCOME to CC!
I’m Zaboo, the leader of the NICE Crew & I’ve been a member of the CC community since 8/10/2007. It’s very nice meeting you & we hope you’ll enjoy your time here & will make lots of new furiends along the way. I’m pouncing by to give you some info that you may find helpful as you start visiting others on the channel. If you go to the home page you’ll find all kinds of fun things to do as well as loads of information by hitting the various links or tabs on the page. The University gives you the opportunity to test your feline knowledge & earn a badge for each session that you complete plus there are games & contests under other tabs too.
Do you know how to navigate easily to the pages you want or see mentioned in blogs? Look at the address bar (URL) in your browser. The numbers on the end are your page number. Each page has a different number so all you need to do is erase (backspace or highlight & delete) your 6 digit number, type in the page you want to visit, and then press enter. The next page you’re on should be on the page number of the cat that you typed in. This method makes it much easier & faster to vote for other cats that are running for specific badges throughout the month & will also let you connect with other kitties that are visiting that cat. Another way is by using the links that are on every blog posted. The links are always in blue so to answer someone that blogged to you (or you’ve found an interesting sounding cat you’d like to visit), all you need to do is click on their link to take you to their page. I know it sounds slightly confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll have loads of fun interacting with others in the community.
The CC community is comprised of thousands of pages. Here are some special pages that are frequented by our feline friends:
*CMR (Catpaign and Mews Room) page #46883 where kitties post their news and the cat of the day campaigns are announced.
*Mouse Hockey League (see Dean page #36497 for details)

It’s always great if you can go by & congratulate the daily COTD (cat of the day) winners & vote for the COTM (cat of the month) nominee that’s currently running too. This month the nominee is LILY #166596 so please try to go by to meet her if you can & paw her a vote as often as you can. This lets everyone know there’s a new cat in “town” & also let’s you get to know some of the others that romp through each day. CC is a fun place & we hope you enjoy your time here with us.
