sorry i missed king sky's party mom was out and i can't turn the computer on...
mom had a couple of busy days after lunch yesterday she did some shopping then when dad got home they went to the movies and saw 'Lincoln' mom said it was a great movie even if it was 3 hours long but worth it then they want to their son mike's and didn't leave until after 11pm...when they got home mom started to check her holiday addresses big mistake next thing she knew it was 1:30 am...

Good Monday Morning Quinn,
Well your buddy Sky is winding down his campaign for BOTM. Maybe then you can spend more time here on CC. Steve will be our new King for Dec and with the change over on CC, it will be a big adjustment for all of us..hopefully they'll be kinder to Cat Channel than they did to Dog Channel. I like one thing better about BC, you can highlight it on FB where I also enjoy going everyday.
Today is rainy and cold, so I think I'll take a long nap.

This handsome little guy is the newest member of one of the nicest families in our CC community. He was born on the eve of the 4th of July to Bagheera Boo. His dad is Champagne De Lancer. When he was born it was love at first sight, and his family knew he was right where he belonged, in his furever home. Like most of us he has some things that annoy him, like loud noises and storms, but in general he is a gentle, loving and beloved member of his family. He loves playing with the other kittens in his family, and while he enjoys his play, his family enjoys watching him play every bit as much.

it was 48* today and clear...mom met her friend for lunch and mom's granddaughter Dee joined them after her class...when mom finally got home she cleaned the turtle tank and changed the filters..then she did some more laundry meeko & rosie love to help her fold everything...hehe
tonight before dad got home from work he stopped and picked up some roast beef and turkey for sandwiches...
mom even shared some with meeko & rosie...

Good Monday Morning to you. It got down to 37' in MS last night but will warm up to the high 60's today. We have already been out on our back porch checking everything out. Ollie is now watching the birds out our bedroom window where Mama has hung 2 bird feeders. We love watching the birds & squirrels during the day.
Sky has given us a long list of questions about birds & I have to admit I am just guessing the answers...can't wait to find out what they really are.

what a great story i think that dr was wonderful...
today mom and dad's son came over and fixed our fence section that fell durng sandy he also fixed a part of the wall next to our garage and put up our winter snow rail...mom said she was so happy that he came and helped dad...
tonight they went out with their son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter for her 20th birthday..mom can't believe that she's 20 already...

Please ask Sky if they normally keep cockatoo's separated or was that one cockatoo just a very mean bird.
Quinn, hope you don't get pecked like that poor bird did. That Vet Dr in Florida was awesome how he made artifical limbs. However,that was a very sad bird story.

Quick & easy recipe - Enjoy !
Chocolate Cat Cupcakes
Prep: 15 min Total: 1 hr 20 min Serves: 24
1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
3 squares BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate
3 Tbsp. butter
2 cups powdered sugar
12 JET-PUFFED Marshmallows, cut in half
2 pieces black licorice (8 inch), cut into thin strips
1/2 cup jelly beans
24 JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
HEAT oven to 350°F.
PREPARE cake batter and bake as directed on package for 24 cupcakes. Cool completely.
MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 to 1-1/2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Gradually stir in sugar until well blended; spread onto cupcakes.
DECORATE with remaining ingredients to resemble cat faces.
How to Make Cat's Ears
Cut each large marshmallow crosswise into 2 pieces with kitchen shears to make ears, pinching each piece slightly to form shape of ear.

♥ Mom did the Glucose monitoring every 2 hours for 12 hours yesterday on our doggie sister CARLY (#11000 DC) which mom thinks all the readings were fairly good. Carly is still eating her Prescription Diet w/d can food and some of her PD w/d dry food throughout the day. Carly has lost about 3+ pounds within a year as she's down to 13.4 pounds now.
♥ Do you remember TaumKat???? His picture is the first one in my picture gallery at the bottom of my page!!!! Mom had dad hold TaumKat today to check out the tumor under his tongue and mom says it's looking worse to her. She has noticed TaumKat is drooling more as well. He doesn't act like he's in pain, but mom has pain medication on hand in case he needs it!!!!
♥ Mom woke up with a bad headache this morning so she took Equate Migraine pills and it finally went away. Mom also went out in the front yard to prune her rose bushes, plants and ckeaned up leaves and such off the public sidewalk in front of our house. She then had dad dig up some Daylilies and a Fushia bush for mom's brother and sister-in-law.

Hi Quinn!
Thanks for your visit and all the interesting information about all the birdies! It's really great that they go and do shows and things to educate the public on the care of birds. Mom's brother-in-law had 7 cockatiels that he kept and they were his babies. They had their own room which looked out toward the front of the house and they would alert him to anyone coming to the front door! He finally had to give them all away, cuz he was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for them.
Well, we're looking forward to hearing about the Gabriel Foundation, Tomorrow. But for now, we have to sign off for tonight. So, we hope you have a great evening and we're leaving you another vote. Take care. Love ya!

What is mew with you today? Weather has turned really cold here in MS. We now have 5 outside kitties that we are caring for that needs permanent homes. They have been staying in our garage at night & our Mama fixed them some cozy beds to sleep in. They are cream colored Siamese and have blue eyes.
You are making Mama want a bird, but she is so afraid it would have a very unhappy life with the # of cats we have.

Another way is by using links. The links are always in blue so to answer someone that blogged to you (or you’ve found an interesting sounding cat you’d like to visit), all you need to do is click on their link to take you to their page. I know it sounds slightly confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll have loads of fun interacting with others in the community.

26 ~*~ UN-EVENTFUL DAY ~*~
EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 56 & low was 46 this morning, now it's 55 with humidity 87% & wind is 0 MPH. Wednesday's suppose to be Mostly Cloudy & High 55.

♥ Well, it's been another un-eventful day!!!! Most of us napped on and off all day.
♥ Mom brought in the yard solar lights, cleaned them up, pulled the batteries out of each one then packed them away in a box til next Spring when we get our warm sun☼ back.
♥ Mom then baked a couple potatoes, cooked some green vrggie for dad, and fried a couple small steaks with onions. She also grated some Colby Jack cheese, diced onions and Chives then got out the margarine and sour cream. Mom also heated a couple frozen rolls for dad. Mom & dad doesn't give us steak cuz mom says the spices aren't good for us.
♥ WooHoo!!!! Our Oregon Ducks football team, located here in Eugene, are back in 2nd place in the BCS!!!! QUACK QUACK!!!!

It's very mice to meet you and welcome to CC! We have a fursib named Pumpkin who looks a whole lot like you, but he's not on CC.
We love your picture with Sky! My hooman brother had a parakeet, many years ago and Mom had a kitty, her first one at age 7 and they were good furiends, too! One day Billie, the bird, flew out of the house when someone held the door open too long. Well, Tinker, the cat went flying out the door after billie. He cornered him at the bottom of the steps and held him there til Mom could get out and pick him up. Everyone was very careful to watch the door after that! Billie used to call Tinker for dinner, too!
