To be honest, I'm not really sure how I got picked for COTD, either. I think when a cat is picked on a " free" day, like today, the cats can choose to vote for any cat for the badge. On the days when a cat has been nominated,( see the catpaign mews room), then, usually, the kitties votes go to that cat, I think. I'm fairly new here, too, so I'm not absolutely sure. RAINBOW SCOOP for 11/23/2012 from the cloud of the Angel Sherman...ANGEL TUXIE #192399 was freezing with frost covering his tiny body when he was rescued by his daddy one early November morning & as they say-the rest is history. He lived a very happy life until he crossed the Bridge on June 9th, 2012 peacefully in his home. This precious angel isn’t a very active blogger here but many of you already know some of his other fursibs. Ooh, we love Canada!
You live in a very nice country! Our Mom's niece lives in Port Moody, BC, near Vancouver! What province has the letters PE? You asked about making an avatar, how do you do that? We've never tried. Turkey-leftover Delights from The Cat-Lovers’ Cook Book by Tony Lawson
Yields 4 to 5 servings.
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp iodized salt (optional)
2 teaspoons corn oil
1/2 cup brown rice, uncooked
1/2 pound raw turkey giblets, chopped into kitty-bite-size pieces
1/4 cup carrot, chopped fine
1/2 cup chopped spinach
Combine salt, oil, and water and bring to a boil.
Pour rice in boiling water, lower heat, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Stir in turkey giblets, carrot, and spinach.
Cover and cook on low heat for another 10 or 15 minutes.
Cool and serve.
Store unused portions in an airtight container and keep refrigerated or freeze in meal-size packets, then warm to serve.
