How We Met

My mom & I were taking a walk in our neighborhood in Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. We heard this LOUD LOUD meow. We walked closer to the loud meow sound and saw that there were 5 Baby Kitties in plastic grocery shopping bags with water in the bags laying on the side of the road. The kittens were only hours old! My mom went back to the house to grab a box and I held the kitties till we were able to get them to our home. We toke care of them, fed them every 3 hours for a couple weeks until they were able to eat on their own. We had them in our laundry room in a box with towels on a heating pad. We had so much fun watching them grow and play. After they were big enough my dad said they had to go!! lol!! One of the kittens died because it was so sickly & it didn’t like to eat. One of the kittens was adopted by a family through our vet’s office. I kept two but one died from bladder issues and the other went to my cousin. 5 Baby Kitties!! That was the best learning experience of my life!! I think I was 15 when that happens!! I was so lucky to help out with a few little animals in need!! Let’s say I had the best summer ever that year!!
