It’s very nice meeting you & we hope you’ll enjoy your time here & will make lots of new furfuriends along the way. If you go to the home page you’ll find all kinds of fun things to do as well as loads of information by hitting the various links or tabs on the page. The University gives you the opportunity to test your feline knowledge & earn a badge for each session that you complete plus there are games & contests under other tabs too.
Do you know how to navigate easily to the pages you want or see mentioned in blogs? Look at the address bar (URL) in your browser. The numbers on the end are your page number. Each page has a different number so all you need to do is erase your 6 digit number, type in the page you want to visit, and then press enter. Wahlah…you should be on the page that you typed in. This makes it much easier to vote for other cats that are running for specific badges throughout the month & will also let you connect with other kitties that are visiting that cat. Another way is by using links. The links are always in blue so to answer someone that blogged to you (or you’ve found an interesting sounding cat you’d like to visit), all you need to do is click on their link to take you to their page. I know it sounds slightly confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll have loads of fun interacting with others in the community.

20 ~ SLOW 'NET & RESTED KNIGHT ~
EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 49 & low was 42 this morning, now it's 45 with humidity 86% & wind is 0 MPH. Thursday's suppose to be Mostly Cloudy & High 51.

♥ We are getting on late again tonight as the internet has been slow even this morning, then mom's Hotmail email has merged with Outlook that it's slow plus mom had to completely shut the computer down which she was fianally able to open her emails!!!!
♥ Mom feels more rested tonight and she even got some alone time last night before her night chores!!!! Mom still gets woke up several times during the night and this time not just by us kitties. About 3:15 this morning a big gust of wind came making the windchimes go crazy and loud!!!!
♥ Monday night when mom came to lay on the couch for the night, I was already in the comfy bed at the end of the couch. Well, mom stretched out with her feet going under my comfy bed and got that famous xpression of "ATTACK" and mom said "Rhoamin, don't you do it" then I did it.... ATTACK!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Luckily for mom, the comfy bed it thick or she would have been screaming!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Then mom came down and put her hand under the bed and played with me. We had lots of fun even though it was sleep time!!!!

Every year we call it down upon ourselves,
the chaos of the day before the occasion,
the morning before the meal. Outdoors,
the men cut wood, fueling appetite
in the gray air, as Nana, Arlene, Mary,
Robin—whatever women we amount to—
turn loose from their wrappers the raw,
unmade ingredients. A flour sack leaks,
potatoes wobble down counter tops
tracking dirt like kids, blue hubbard erupts
into shards and sticky pulp when it's whacked
with the big knife, cranberries leap away
rather than be halved. And the bird, poor
blue thing—only we see it in its dead skin—
gives up for good the long, obscene neck, the gizzard,
the liver quivering in my hand, the heart.
So what? What of it? Besides the laughter,
I mean, or the steam that shades the windows
so that the youngest sons must come inside
to see how the smells look. Besides
the piled wood closing over the porch windows,
the pipes the men fill, the beers
they crack, waiting in front of the game.
Any deliberate leap into chaos, small or large,
with an intent to make order, matters. That's what.
A whole day has passed between the first apple
cored for pie, and the last glass polished
and set down. This is a feast we know how to make,
a Day of Feast, a day of thanksgiving
for all we have and all we are and whatever
we've learned to do with it: Dear God, we thank you
for your gifts in this kitchen, the fire,
the food, the wine. That we are together here.
Bless the world that swirls outside these windows—
a room full of gifts seeming raw and disordered,
a great room in which the stoves are cold,
the food scattered, the children locked forever
outside dark windows. Dear God, grant
to the makers and keepers power to save it all.

Welcome Dollbaby Myla!
We're happy for you that your big sister was happy to have you! Thought our Siamese, Aysha, would like a friend, so we got little baby Siamese Kashi for her...she was most definitely NOT impressed! But Kashi insisted that they be friends, and Aysha did eventually come around. Then, because mom also loves Birmans, Ragdolls, Himi's....she found a fluffy little boy at a shelter, named him Meiko, and now he also lives with us too! He's a mix breed, but we're calling him a Ragdoll...( he has no white, just pointed) The diva girls only barely tolerate him, and he does love to antagonize them! Hehe! We all do hope you have tons of fun here at CC!
