Education: He was still a baby himself, when he became "papa" to Kira our other rescue kitten. He has never fought with her, and allows her to walk all over him. He's so sweet with her.
My favorite tricks and treats are: I do side flips and meow when I want to play. It gets my mom to play with me every time! and Any kind of kitty treat---I love them all!
Where I hang out: In my "cat-cave" my mom made for me, the top of my cat tree, and the rug near the front door. I get interesting scents from outdoors there.
My favorite grubs: Blue Buffalo Chicken Flavor
My pet peeves: When Lilly (cat-friend) refuses to play with me or hisses in my face. When my mom brushes my teeth (long-suffering sigh).
What I love about my owners: She gives me treats and plays with me, brushes my fur and tells me she loves me everyday. She's also a big mush-mallow and spoils me rotten.
My cat hobbies: I love to eat. I love playtime with tinsel balls, my beloved-ragged purple mouse, and the laser light. I also love to smell scents of any kind. I find them fascinating. I also like watching T.V. if my mom puts on something that interests me.
Pet motto: A treat a day keeps the "crankies" away.

How We Met
He came to my kitchen window and bellowed for me to come rescue him. I found out he was abandoned and brought him into my home and that was that. He settled right in like it was his home all along. He lost his voice for a few days from meowing so loud.

No problem, Jett!
Good luck in the tux contest! Naw, we can't tip over the tree 'cause Dad has it taped down to the floor! They keep the unbreakable ornaments on the lower half of the tree, so they think they've cat-proofed it! We'll see about that! mol! Dad has put up a train layout under the tree, and we like to watch it go around! Last year, he had little people figures for the village, but we played with them, and scattered them all over the house, so he left them off this year!

History: THE NUTCRACKER BALLET
On December 17, 1892, The Nutcracker ballet premiered in St. Petersburg, Russia. Critics and audience thought it a failure; it was not an instant success.
The adaptation by Alexandre Dumas (1802–1870) was based on The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by Ernst Theodor Wilhelm Hoffman (1776-1822).
The score was composed by Peter Tchaikovsky, commissioned by mastermind choreographer Marius Petipa. Tchaikovsky died less than a year later.
The ballet was first performed in the United States in 1944. The Nutcracker has become a classic — many people consider it the most popular ballet in the world.

MOL! Getting Mom to cave in for treats, huh? At our house the best one at that is Jakar, the Mama's boy! He really knows how to kiss up to Mom! He follows her around everywhere, he rubs against her legs, he head bonks her, he mews for attention, and he gets it! He goes to the fridge, and rubs against it when he wants his treats, Halo Liv-a-Littles freeze dried chicken treats. She always falls for it! When I try it, all I get is a head rub and she tells me to wait for dinner. No fair!
So, ya think you can take me in wrestling, huh? MOL! I wrestle Jakar all the time! I'm just over 18lbs, and I usually win, if the folks don't break us up! Falls count anywhere!
Your offer sounds like fun! Come on by, lets see if you can weasel our Mom out of treats, too!

So,..you say you're a monster cat, huh? MOL! Have you seen me? Two months ago, the Vet weighed me in at 18.6 lbs., and had Mom put me on a special diet! The Vet wants me down to about 16 lbs, in about six months. I'm not only hefty, I'm big! So 16 lbs would be fine for me!
It's hard for me, though, cuz I really love food!

Yeah, I thought that was you! We've left you several votes! Good luck in the contest! I was lucky enough to make it to third place in the recent Pumpkin Cats contest last month.
