How We Met
Precious Andie, usually scowling, passed peacefully last night on her heated bed. She now has a peaceful expression with a very slight smile. God brought Andie to us about a month-and-a-hal- f ago and I pray we served her and Him well. As a feral, she never raised a nail or was aggressive when I held her, petted her or brushed her. I pray she felt comforted and loved.
We will miss her. We love you Andie,
Andy found us and comes by for breakfast and dinner (and snacks). Andy is getting a little used to us and we will trap and take to our Vet for evaluation and "fixing" if necessary. He has be in the neighborhood for about a month. Info right now are guesses.

History: THE NUTCRACKER BALLET
On December 17, 1892, The Nutcracker ballet premiered in St. Petersburg, Russia. Critics and audience thought it a failure; it was not an instant success.
The adaptation by Alexandre Dumas (1802–1870) was based on The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by Ernst Theodor Wilhelm Hoffman (1776-1822).
The score was composed by Peter Tchaikovsky, commissioned by mastermind choreographer Marius Petipa. Tchaikovsky died less than a year later.
The ballet was first performed in the United States in 1944. The Nutcracker has become a classic — many people consider it the most popular ballet in the world.
