Thanks so much for supporting my run for COTD. My dear brother Anderson sent out so many blogs asking for everyone to vote for me tuesday. But it turned out lots voted monday as some knew they wouldn't be able to vote tuesday. At any rate, we were very pleasantly surprised yesterday morning to see I have joined my brother and many many other wonderful kitties by earning this wonderful honor. I am thrilled. THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!!!
Thank you everyone for all your prayers!!! And for making me COTD!! Sorry we caused everyone to worry!! Mom just picked me back up fron the vet's office, I will have to take some nasty tasting medicine for a few days!! If you don't get to go outside DON'T!! It's not what you think out there!!! It's big, dark, cold and lonely!! And there are no food bowls full of food!! We were so happy to see Mom! We could tell she had been worried and sad!! This whole thing was TOOEE's fault, she said she knew how to get back home, so I followed her! HMMPH! we ended up at a few blocks from where we lived before and TOOEE let a lady pick her up and she called MOM!! I stayed out of her way even though she tempted me with food!!! And then MOM was there!!! WE BOTH are so happy to be back home and we will never do that again, it caused Mom to cry!! AND I GOT A BATH AT THE VET'S office and TOOEE got one here and she's still mad about it!!! Thank you all for everything!!! Mommy was working on the chimney doing the caulking and painting and all the usual winterizing stuff before it got cold and cleaning and planning for Thanksgiving. Hacked up a furball ...
... this morning. While Mom was cleaning up, she mentioned she would prefer I pick the ceramic tile to barf on rather than the white carpet. Okay, I've been pretty good about that lately, but sometimes a cat just has to do what a cat has to do, whereever she may be. I also heard her muttering something about the spot on the carpet being the shape and - here she's exaggerating, believe me - the size of South America. It was a pretty good likeness, I must say. Then she forgave me and asked how my little tummy was feeling. Some rubs and cuddles and ... then she saw the second spot. Heading for my window ledge; will watch birds and keep a very low profile for the rest of the day.Come visit me, Q. Cherish - COTM March 2012.

OMG!!! I'M A CELEBRITY!!!
And I owe it all to you, my dear friends here at CC. Thank you so much. Mom is still about 3 feet off the floor and she can't stop smiling. She keeps hugging me and telling me what a special kitty I am. The COTD honor you've chosen to bestow on me is wonderful, but even more than the "badge" on my page, I cherish the friendships made with kitties and their people. Today is mine; tomorrow I will join you in thrilling another deserving member. Mom is getting this note out very late today because she had to do all the pre-op stuff the doctor requires. And this coming week we are entertaining an out-of-state guest. That should keep her mind off surgery, don't you think? Anyway, we will reach out and touch each and every one of you. Mom and I are still rounding up the balloons and confetti, the bacon and cheese, and all the new little mice (not red mice, mind you) you have chosen to send. Thank you so much for the catgrats and the vote on my COD. We all had a great time. I am so spoiled now. Baby Boo made tuna cakes, shrimp bars, salmon stew, and yogurt with catnip sprinkles. Duffus waited on me paw and paw. I had her running everywhere chasing my spiders when they got away from me. MOL!!! I got lots of nice big spiders from a lot of kitty friends. Which was great, because I was running low on them. So, thank you to everyone who sent me them. This is a copy and paste, so I can make sure I get everyone a vote that wished me catgrats. Thank you so much for the catgrats on my COD today. I was so excited when mom came and woke me. I didn't even accept it, cause I wasn't able to stay long on the computer yesterday due to the storms we got. It's wonderful. Duffus is in the kitchen and told me not to come in, so she is making something special. And big O Tiger Man is waiting paw and paw on me. And then there's mom, well, I had to tell her to chill.
