Daddy's last A1C (diabetic blood test) was in April and his number was 8.9!! In order for his insurance to pay for insulin, it had to be 9.0 or higher!! His next A1C is supposed to be in July!!

Daddy is probably going to have to go on insulin before long!! He has mixed feelings about this, because although he would have to take daily injections, he would probably feel a lot better!!

Mom's therapist told her to get out & go for a walk! She has several times now & walked to two drugstores, the grocery store a couple times & the post office. Walking is not a problem. With all that Mom does thru the week with Medicare stuff, insurance stuff, doctor stuff, hours of phone calls we let her take it easy on the weekends. A good pharmacy is supposed to carry at least some of all meds currently on the market (wether it's very popular or very obscure)!! Daddy says that a big company like Harris-Teeter (where his pharmacy is) has no excuse!! They should be able to network with other HT pharmacies and get anything they need, in short order!!

feeling so good has the new sinus-allergy flu bug and it's her first time getting sick this season too! won't say to much more otherwise it could get worse and might still! knocking on wood tap, tap, tap that it won't as it seems master has picked it up now as nat had it the past 2 weeks. janet got it wednesday and now master. that leaves mommy if she does get it to be the next one. janet slept till almost 5 was out walking pepper, then back and has one load of wash done on the lines and will be out with the last one very shortly, then she's done and leaves to plant some beans, squash, pumpkins and a few other things leaving the rest like tomatoes till after memorial day here. hoping to see you at the next sports day on tuesday and you can run the pool game like you did last week was a lot of fun! sandy,ana,haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

Daddy's doctor says that the one new med is the exact same things as the other two he had been taking (but in one pill) and that the other new med shouldn't cause this effect!! They are insisting that it must be his diet and they want him to write down everything he eats!! He knows that his diet can't be the culprit and if anything he's been more careful lately!! The only thing he can figure is that it messed him up, when he missed for 3 days!! (Which would make it the pharmacy's fault!!)

We sure hope you keep us posted on the vet's checkup. We had such a bad spell here, pollen was flying around so much outside it looked like snow. Mom had attacks for a few days, under Claritin's help now. Glad to be seeing the warmer weather settling in but gosh that was bad.

sorry i haven't been by..mom ahs been spending way too much time outside working in the yard and garden..but the garden is finally all planted..now she's hoping to sit back and watch everything grow..she sure has been tired of having all those sore muscles...
there was a rabbitt in our back yard the otehr day..too abd i was stuck inside..it was having trouble finding a way out..i could have showed it..hehe..

It certainly does not feel like mid May! Mom had to take the bus to get her driver's license picture & get a cane. She turned the portable heaster off and was gone six hours. The apt was down to 63*! Mom is not about to try to mow now that the grass is so high. She would constantly have to stop to clear the grass out from under it. The landlord will get to it evidentually. Hey JC
Is that you in the photo with mimi inside the cat condo. If so, you are very long now.
Although you think you want to go outside since you've had weakened lungs from pneumonia it is right that your dear mom keeps you in now. Just think about how close your nose is to the damp earth! And you would breathe in all the germs. You'll be happier inside because you will not have to go to the Vet as a sick kitty.
We go in and out. It's not that warm here yet and yesterday was pouring rain so we slept inside most of the time.
But we do go out to help fill the bird feeders (not PD, he hates outside) which we have to do right now.
