How We Met
I lost my eldest cat in march, so in August I went to the Ottawa Humane Society to get 2 kittens (I still had one cat, so I thought kittens would be easier to incorporate into the household). There was one kitten half way up the door of the cage; hanging on, waving one paw it the bars & one kitten in the back sleeping. As I was talking to the attendant about the 2 kittens, the sleeping one woke & sat quietly waiting for us to finish. He calked his head to one side like he was listening & it became love at first sight with both of them.

It’s very nice meeting you & we hope you’ll enjoy your time here & will make lots of new furfuriends along the way. If you go to the home page you’ll find all kinds of fun things to do as well as loads of information by hitting the various links or tabs on the page.
Do you know how to navigate easily to the pages you want or see mentioned in blogs? Look at the address bar (URL) in your browser. The numbers on the end are your page number. Each page has a different number so all you need to do is erase your 6 digit number, type in the page you want to visit, and then press enter. Wahlah…you should be on the page that you typed in. This makes it much easier to vote for other cats that are running for specific badges throughout the month & will also let you connect with other kitties that are visiting that cat. Another way is by using links. The links are always in blue so to answer someone that blogged to you (or you’ve found an interesting sounding cat you’d like to visit), all you need to do is click on their link to take you to their page. I know it sounds slightly confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll have loads of fun interacting with others in the community.
