I just left Laila's page & pounced over to paw you a vote too when I saw your question about being a rescue. We're all rescue cats at our house. The best thing to do is have a daily feeding routine, along with a place she can hide if she gets scared. A new 'owner' needs lots of patience but if you show them the love they deserve then sooner or later most of them come to trust you & will respond with loving purrs. It took my sister Patches 3 months before she'd come from the back part of the house into the 'real' world so don't worry if your new kitty doesn't respond right away. FYI: Canned food works great at making them happier too...MOL!

Human Highjackers!

What can I do?
Hey guys this is cheshie's owner here and I have some questions I would like you to answer. Cheshire is a rescue cat and she is very shy and doesn't like me that much. I don't have any cat treats to help, but is there a routine or something I can follow for her to get used to me? Please help me!Come visit me, Cheshire & Laila.
