Hi! My name is Baby Boomer
I am Domestic Longhair from Gibsons, BC
Nicknames: Boomer, Ma beaux, Mister Man and Little Rascal.
Age: 15 years old
Coat: long haired
Education: A move from the East to the West which involved a plane trip. Got used to his new scratching post. Runs from the kitchen to the patio.
Stunts: He pulls a meowing stunt at night when he wants into my bedroom and during the day when he wants a treat. And continuous meowing when he wants more attention than he's getting. Oh, he runs behind the sofa when he thinks you are going to take him out to get groomed or trim his claws. He's an old cat so now great physical stunts at the moment. He's still losing weight; his metabolism may change.
My favorite tricks and treats are: He runs and gets frisky after catnip, he's going to do a few tricks when I finish teaching him. Thanks to tricks and training tips from different sites. He needs encouragement in this area. Loves walking or plunking down on any newspaper I'm reading. and Vet recommended treats since he has to lose weight and catnip. Oh, yes our frozen yogurt bowl when it's around.
Where I hang out: His cat bed, chair in the sun, or sofa. Lately spending mornings lying in a box at the back of the closet if he thinks it's too noisy.
My favorite grubs: His New Diet, and of course treats which are now also new diet treats.
My pet peeves: Vacuums, being disturbed when he's relaxing and having to wait too long to be fed. And not being brushed when we get up in the morning, he'll meow endlessly.
What I love about my owners: She's gentle with me when she brushes me, strokes my coat at the end. Sometimes she even gives me head massages. She's quite patient when I'm trying to decide if I want to do something like go on the patio.
My cat hobbies: Go out onto the patio. And this Spring he's been on a couple of tours of our garden. He loves to eat cat grass, and gets at our flowers inside if they are low enough. He loves to cuddle, purr, and sleep at my side.
Pet motto: Patience, tender loving care, and be attentive when I'm scared.
